VLD S3 SPOILERS; Shiro

I can’t believe that theprojectava was right all along with her Shiro/Kuro art. (If you believe that the Shiro in s3 is a clone theory)

(because boy do I, I mean come on soooo much evidence points to it)

- ’Shiro’s’ long hair, even though he hadn’t been ‘gone’ that long. - Project Kuron, more like project clone - Shiro/White, Kuro/Black

- Outfit change, he’s wearing short sleeves and a fresh trim (damn he’s buff, props to animators for actually showing how hair grows?)

- Black not letting him goddamn pilot (they’ve got the strongest bonds dude)

- it’s probably me, but his arm was weird yo 

- He was weird with Keith, like I get he is technically leader, but he gave me weird vibes when he kind of took over and gave strict orders the got really frustrated for a bit when Keith was arguing against them, he could’ve handled it better?

- His face was weird, like I swear it was drawn way weird

- mhm honey I don’t know about you but his ‘prisoner’ number and then ‘subject’ number were different? wouldn’t they stay the same? (Prisoner N0, 117-9875, and Subject Y0XT39)

- His metal arm, he’s confused by it like he’s never seen it before, and when he sees it glow, when he goes to cauterise the wound he’s just like, ‘hmmm’

- He saw Shiro on his way out, when he was making his escape, at first I thought it might be a flashback to when he was first captured by the but then when he escaped and we heard “Stage 3 of operation Kuron is underway”

- Kuro means black, Shiro means white, they’re opposites, they added a ‘N’ onto Kuro to make ‘Kuron’ which sounds like clone, at least it does when I say it?  (say it with an accent trust me)

- Random mood swings, he goes from angsty to A-okay, too soon

- He fights weird as well, when h was fighting sea monster of my nightmares, he looked like he didn’t know what he was doing, it was just all lemme stab

- Moody McAngsty, where is my depressive humour Shiro?

- Where was everyone when he escaped, sure there was a bit of resistance but it was way  too  easy  to  just  get  away.

- Where are his arm scars??

OR; BRAINWASHED SHIRO, HE getS A HEADACHE, BRainWash SympTONS?

ALSO; I WANT LANCE TO BE THE onE WHO DISCoVERS THAT THIS IS NOT THEIR ‘SHIRO’, BECause HE IS PERCEPTIVE GODDAMN, I STILL CANT GET OVER THE DUMB/NATURALLY DUMB THInG, Like EVEN ALLURA, SHE WAS ASHAMED/BAShfULL ABOUT IT GODdamn.

GUYS. The Shiro we saw isn’t our Shiro.

The Galra kept talking about Project Kuron, which left me curious so I did some research and found out Kuron means “clone”.

Shiro used to be called “prisoner 117-9875″, it doesn’t make sense that they would change that number, unless this was Lotor’s rebel group but even though Lotor didn’t seem aware of Shiro’s presence in the Galra even as a prisoner. Unless Lotor does know and doesn’t want anyone else to know he knows so we don’t know (lol). And if my calculations are correct the most Shiro would have been gone would be less then half a month. You can’t grow hair as long as he had during such a short amount of time. 

Not to mention when he came back he changed his hair style to way shorter than it originally was. And it might just be me but he gave me really strange vibes. Even when I first saw him at the start of the episode didn’t seem like he was the Shiro we all know and love. 

Another thing I noticed was that when Shiro did escape, the Galra said that “Operation Kuron stage 3 is underway”. That means they wanted Shiro to escape but why? I mean he could have a tracker in his hand but the fact that they haven’t been attacked yet seems unrealistic unless again the clone Shiro is part of the Galra and their waiting for the right time to attack.  

This also might be stretching it a little but it seemed to me that whenever Shiro took charge, the consequences ended up hurting the paladins more than helping them. If you notice, right when Shiro told Keith to attack the cargo ship, Lotor seemed to know right away what they were going to do. Now again Lotor may or may not know about Shiro’s existence and maybe Lotor knowing the paladins move was just a coincidence, but it sure as hell is suspicious.

To be honest, I think the real Shiro is in the leaked screenshot we saw of him and matt together, and I think this Shiro, his purpose still unbeknownst to us, is a clone

Project Kuron

ft. a long-ass post about how season 3 space dad is not space dad but, in fact, his clone-brother Kuro leggo.

Spoilers ahoy

Just gonna start this off by saying that for the sake of this crack theory I will be referring to fake!Shiro as Kuro (after the fandom’s anti!Shiro problematic fav), Clone Dad, badhaircut!Shiro, or any combo of the three.

Aight. so. Season 3 ep. 5 you have *Shiro* waking up looking like something from Lost. Which is fishy in itself because hasn’t he only been missing for like…2 weeks tops? Did the Galra treat him to some Keratin treatment while in captivity? We don’t know.

He wakes up disorientated and wanders around the halls which suspiciously have 0 guards in sight. Should probably also mention how he wasn’t restrained in any way on the table up there.

He then stumbles onto a lifeless Shiro Shell Husk, which has the same haircut as old season 2 Shiro. Strange.

There’s some kind of fluid injection happening, which is looking a bit like the memory harvesting process back in season 2? Just a guess.

An isolation tank filling with goo liquid to keep the clone body safe until activation? Liquid that the memories have been injected into perhaps?

So that concluded stage one, stage 2 apparently being him waking up and escaping in a pod, which they really didn’t try hard to stop if you ask me. Also the called it Operation Kuron. Like seriously? Shiro = white, Kuro = black. Kuron? Really? 

Then you’ve got this guy who’s happily watching him get away and crash landing on a planet while ominously stating stage 3 is underway, making everything look pretty damn planned to this point. 

Aanndd I just wanted to put this in here to document the potential clone existential crisis baby Kuro may be experiencing. Is he contemplating life? Death? Existence? Or just making a cute passing comment to a giant fish skeleton? We will possibly never know.

This whole scene with him and Keith after they rescue him may be important. How? I don’t know yet. I may also just be putting this cap in here for personal reasons. 

Then you’ve got badhaircut!Shiro back looking like Buzz Lightyear and just happy to be there but also complaining of some mysterious mystery headache that will probbaallyy come in to play later if I had to guess. Just a hunch. Also who lets this guy dress himself like seriously he needs an intervention. 

And of course ol’ Black ain’t working for him anymore because it’s not his bbf but an IMPOSTER.

And not sure if relevant (not sure if ANY of this is relevant) but when Shiro starts giving orders again he sorta screws them over either way? Like if Keith hadn’t moved and taken charge the comet ship would’ve escaped as well as the cargo ship. Like, at least he swerved at the last minute and managed to cause some damage to the teledove piece? Idk man is Kuro trying to sabotage them? Am I just being paranoid? Probably.

Then lastly we’ve got this cute scene between Keithers and imposter!dad, but either way Shiro just looks a bit…off? Dunno if it’s just the bad hair throwing me off but like..??

IN CONCLUSION

Clone!SpaceDad is not my Space Dad and they really need to teach clones to cut hair better in clone school.

Voltron Season 3 Spoiler Warning

Yo guys, not sure if you noticed or not but that dude they rescued with the awful haircut isn’t our Shiro.

My evidence being: -when he woke up and escaped there was a second Shiro, the Shiro we all know and love tied down in the room next door. -the galras that held him captive kept taking about this special ‘project’ obviously involving Shiro -he came back with a really weird headache -the black lion wouldn’t let him pilot it -he kept throwing off Keith’s leadership and turning the team against him when they prioritized Shiro’s opinion over his -generally throwing off Keith and making him doubt his leadership, despite apologizing afterwards

My theory is, they grew this clone of Shiro as part of this secret project from when he was still a champion. They did something to the clone’s brain that may allow them to take control of him at some point and left seeds in his mind that causes him to slowly tear apart the team from the inside out. It seems like they inserted the real Shiro’s memory into the clone which gave him all the tools he needed to escape and reunite with his team, and also rendered him unaware that he is not the real Shiro.

Evil Shiro exists and Season 3 just introduced him to the team guys it’s happening.

Also theory: Matt in the next season is the one who helps the real Shiro escape

Guys I realized something really important! More evidence as to why “Shiro” isn’t the real Shiro.

In the past seasons whenever the real Shiro is on a Galra ship, he does the finger tapping thing to track his way around the ship without being caught by soldiers. He completely memorized the routes the soldiers would take. But when “Shiro” woke up this season on a Galra ship, he instantly just got up and left. Like he didn’t even think to check for soldiers. Not a Shiro thing to do if you ask me.

the choice to bring back shiro this season wasn’t a good one.

i love shiro, don’t get me wrong, but he could have been with matt or the other rebels. we could have learned more about the rebellion against the galra. on the flip side of that, we would have more time to see the paladins grow and work together as a team, without shiro, and challenge the whole “leader” thing. 

even if they did still bring back shiro, they should have made the black lion open up to him. they should have shaken up the team. lance could’ve gotten major character development with the lion switch. allura could, as well. 

instead, they latched on to black paladin keith and the lion switch. both things supposed to be temporary - that felt temporary throughout the whole season.

i don’t know. it felt…rushed.
