I'm probably gonna post less this week cause my house is gonna be a sensory hell zone for the next 7 days, and when I'm stressed I can't form words. I'll be fine ofc but I'm gonna pass the time by locking in and working on a big project again- I have a couple response drawings for people who sent me art in my inbox, and a couple other asks I did art for as well, but might not post more besides that during this week?

BUT! THE BIG PROJECT! I have two comics I'm working on rn that are both about the bishops' childhoods, and I wanna know what you guys would want to see first. I'll add little bits of each one below. The first one is when heket was alone at the temple while the older sibs went out god-slaying, and was met with an intruder she was told to eliminate on sight. And the second one is the first time shamura had to explain to their two (traumatized) brothers that love is supposed to be unconditional, even when they make mistakes.

ALSO YES I KNOW I DIDN'T FINISH THE PURGATORY COMIC I SAID I'D WORK ON IN THE LAST POLL, it's another one I have on the backburner til I can get the writing just right :'))) these are a little more straightforward so I don't think I'll put them on hold but...ya never know?

Does therapy exist in this universe or do they all have to actually communicate with each other

It does exist! It's just, like....extremely ineffective when it comes to gods who had dozens of millennia to fester in their own self hatred? So if you're a follower who's Really going through it, you can rest easy knowing there's a qualified therapist in the cult for you. But if you're a god, yeah no your problems are kind of inconceivable to a mortal and they're just gonna ask if you tried the instantly-healing magic crystals yet.

That's why a lot of my bishop comics have these guys talking it out, because really despite being the highest power in the land (til all that lamb stuff happens), they have no real resources for mental health beyond what they can offer each other. ALL of them are fucked up though, so it's better than nothing but still not ideal lmao, it's gonna take some time before they start being functional. Family therapy might work better but it also might result in them trying to kill each other so idk

@bialejaja I kept thinking about this text post I found and wanted to draw it with kallamar, but I needed a co-surgeon to make the joke work. So I just...added a second kallamar cause I didn't feel like inventing a character just for this idea- there's multiple medical malpractice squids out there but I defaulted to yours cause I haven't drawn the new slay outfit you made him. I feel like these two are very competent on their own, but would probably get distracted pretty easily from keeping some random jackoff alive when they get to hang out with a different universe's version of themself.......

I also sometimes think about that one panel you drew in "family sewn together" where he has the analog horror face, and had to put it in here. Omggg they're twinning, they both have their own shadowy faces of pure despair when in situations of extreme stress [heart emoji]

How do Crowns work?

Do they have preset domains or is a domain dependent on something else like environment or how the bearer obtains it?

Are they sapient?

Do the other crowns have animal forms or is the red crown special?

What’s your Lamb and Narinders relationship with the red crown?

What’s the Bishops relationship with their respective crowns?

Is there other crowns that just haven’t been found yet? What’s shapes and colors

What’s going on with Haro and Chemachs crowns?

Does someone/thing create the crowns or do they just appear out of the ether?

Do crowns affect their users in any way besides giving them powers?

Are they picky about their bearers?

Can they even willingly choose their bearers?

Are they their own separate being or an extension of their bearers?

How much control do they have over their bearers actions? How much free will do they have?

Is their relationship with their bearers beneficial for both parties or is it just beneficial for only one party?

Is it a parasite?

Do they have good intentions or bad? Or is it morally grey intentions?

Are they connected to the mystic sellers in anyway? (The whole eye motif, the mystic sellers kinda look like big anthro crowns if you squint)

What happens when a bearer wears it for a extended period of time? (Longer than the bishops would have.)

Did you know: After killing both Aym and Baal before the Narinder bossfight, Narinder breaks out of his chains by himself, and since he was probably giving Aym and Baal some of his power, he could only do this once you killed them both. This means that he could've escaped at any point after the bishops were all dead, just by killing his kits, but he never did.
