Blood thistle aroma lingers upon each, smoky exhale; trailing free from pale lips chapped from gnawing. Unease settles within ones chest, causing that seated position to be rattled by the trembling of a leg unsettled, bouncing heel to toe as it jostles the hand rested atop. Form hunched, emerald eyes low, and attention spans if only but seconds upon passing figures–figures donned in armors of reds and browns, decorated with unneeded spikes and at times, far too large for the wearer to be adorning. A sign of battle, the next round of young soldiers gathering, and while many kept their heads high and sights forward, others crumbled.

Tonight Blagden:

1. Scarfed down a box of chocolate scorpions

2. Ate a somewhat decomposed kodo hoof that was preserved in vinegar

3. Drank said vinegar 

4. Stank everything up with his vinegar breath

5. And still got attention anyway because even though he stinks he is the best boy

He had a very productive day in Blagden standards.

Headcanon: Blagden gets very excited when he shows off the things he finds to his friends.

Yes! He gets extremely excited, and instantly expects the other to also be just as excited as he is no matter what he’s found. Especially if its bugs cause then he wants the other person to eat them.

What Monster Protects Blagden?

Lost... alone... unwanted... unnamed... abandoned... forgotten. 

Such is the petrifying fate of the Myling children; children who were born by poverty-stricken women who are abandoned or killed, their remains hidden, forgotten by time. Their souls are fated to forever roam this Earth, searching for their bodies, their names, the love they never had the chance to experience. Mylingar cries can be heard, mournfully echoing from deep within the misty woods, luring travellers into to investigate. The deeper they venture into the unforgiving branches, the further from civilisation they strayed, the faster they approached their deaths. The myling would attach themselves to the traveller's back, demanding that they are carried to the graveyard so they can rest in hallowed ground. 

With every step the ill-fated traveller takes, the heavier the myling becomes until the traveller collapses into the soil from exhaustion. If they cannot regain their footing and make it to the graveyard... the myling will kill them in a fit of rage. You are perceptive and often childish, these are the traits that connects the Myling to you. Your body may mature but your mind remains youthful. Growing up never held any appeal towards you, especially since the adult life seems to complicated. If it were up to you, you could remain a child forever. Free from commitment, constraint and responsibilities, living life to have fun. Just be careful what you wish for.

Blagden squirms on the spot; the Beast’s chest rising with a noise akin to a purr, large ears sprung upright at attention, and his tail swishes happily with the given affections.

The Creature chirps out, that bony maw awkwardly shifted in what one -could- consider a smile.
