Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says her government’s new policy forcing many Albertans to pay out of pocket for a COVID-19 vaccination is about focusing on those who need it the most.

It could set a precedent across the country after the federal government put provinces in charge of buying COVID shots earlier this year.

Speaking Saturday on her call-in radio show, the morning after her government announced the move, Smith said $135 million got “flushed down the drain” last year with doses wasted in part because Albertans are increasingly choosing not to take them.

been a busy market prep bee the last like month. Tomorrow i have a popup and then i am freeeeeeeeeeee till maybe october.

Deadlines are good for making me work and markets are great for ideas but then im too busy and tired to DO THEM or well at least. Probably going to retire a lot of my current work so i can focus on new things.

made a doc appt for tomorrow to get my weird nose friend looked at. on one hand i really hope its not something i need removed cause i feel like face surgery of any kind is going to SUCK. on the other. a cancer diagnosis is something ive always been Waiting For tbh so i can blame the Constant LowLying Medical Issues on SOMETHING so i will feel slightly vindicated if that is the case. knock on wood because no thank you. but ya know.

I forget what initially inspired this since it was an older wip, but I remember it being something about the beauty in genetic mutations. Bicephaly (being two headed) and fasciation are both pretty rare, but pretty cool little quirks of the way nature and life form. It'll probably be up on my etsy eventually, but maybe not till after the holidays.
