headcanons.

selina has taken in multiple strays over the years.   her currents consist of four cats  — three female,  one male.  the oldest is a shorthair black feline with white markings she discovered abandoned in the hill,  flea-ridden and hungry before she took the stray in and nursed the animal back to health.   named it bastet  — one of many of her cats she’s named after african deities.   the second cat is another shorthair,  gray in coloring with cobalt eyes and more elusive than bastet.  sekhmet is skeptical by nature,  took selina longer to earn her trust,  she doesn’t take kind to strangers and is prone to scratch if feeling corned.  

but sekhmet is fiercely loyal and protective in a way that reminds selina of herself,   contritbuting reasons as to why selina named her after the goddess of both healing and war.  the third is a persian cat.   she names it oshun.  oshun is the smallest of selina’s cats and is the most physically affectionate,  despite signs of neglect the feline has gone through.  ogun is her youngest and she found the stone colored stray outside of her apartment,  though she feels as if he found her.
