i dunno how to feel about this project. i think it came out good but i kinda ran out of steam 😵‍💫😤 lemme know if yall like it! anywho i got really into dredge again cus i was recently gifted a collectors addition of dredge for the switch. its so fun and i love actually learning about real fish species. something about games that are informative to everyday experience is really fuckin cooooool

#resetindonesia – how to help!

banner by @/kafrainz on twitter hi tumblr! if you're not caught up, indonesia is going through nationwide protests against governmental policies which perpetuate income inequality and is being met with increasing police brutality (for more info and context, check out this post by whatisupindonesia on ig!) now, what can we do from outside? since the catalytic incident for the increasing governmental repression has been in response to protests after the killing of affan kurniawan, a 21-year old grab delivery driver or 'ojol', we've taken to using delivery/service apps like grab, gojek and shopee internationally to order food and medical supplies for the ojols. what we, the indonesian diaspora/foreigners have is the power of strong currencies to help fund food and supplies. a comprehensive guide on how to do this can be found here, also by wiui (seriously, an amazing resource to keep up with for more info!!) ! a very important note: please don't do this after dark, try maybe lunch time or right after. the last thing we want to do is encourage people to stay out late when most of the violent incidents tend to happen after dark. 1. use grab/gojek/shopee and open the food ordering menus 2. change your location to indonesia, and pick a city! (jakarta is not the only city that needs help, these protests and repressions are nationwide. some other cities you can choose include yogyakarta, makassar, solo, denpasar, etc.) 3. pick a safe "location" for delivery this can be hotel lobbies, hospitals, or universities. the most important thing is to make sure that the location you've picked is NOT near a police station!! 4. order from literally anywhere if you're confused about what/where to order, you can either pick chain restaurants like hokben (bento meals) / mie gacoan (noodles) / bakmi gm (noodles) or you can kill two birds with one stone and order from smaller local businesses! typically on these apps they have very pixelated covers LOL generally the more scuffed they look, the more local. popular filling meals include 'nasi uduk', 'soto mie', or 'nasi goreng' 5. make sure to specify in BOTH the delivery instructions and the dm's with the ojol driver that you are ordering from overseas, and the food is meant for them! a copy-pasteable message is here for your ease of use~ "halo mas, gk perlu dihantar makanannya. tolong dibagikan aja ke ojol2 atau siapa yg perlu 🙏" → hi, no need to send the food. please help give it out to other drivers or whoever needs it 🙏 if they ask "really?" / "beneran?" just say outright you're ordering from overseas! "iya, saya order dari luar negeri" >> this works from all over the world, not just asean countries! your credit/debit cards will work just fine! for medical supplies, this process looks a little different. you can find more info in this twitter thread on what supplies are needed, where to deliver, and how to do it! this can also technically be done through grabmart but im not sure about gojek and shopee thank you so much for reading this if you did, i'd like to kindly ask your help to reblog and spread this as far as you can, within and beyond tumblr! on twitter there's a chain of people sharing their screenshots of their grab apps after ordering, it'd be wonderful if we could start one on here too!! <33 💙💗💚
