felix was riding on his motorcycle through town. he loved the feeling it gave him. the freedom, the endless thrill. even though he knew he couldn’t be hurt—not really—if something went wrong, there was the temptation of it, all the same. sometimes, he just wanted a reminder that he wasn’t entirely indestructible. he wished it worked more often than it did. as he was riding, he saw a familiar face, and jerked his bike to a stop.

“jane!” he called out. “my favorite target to annoy, and just in time, too, i was feeling an awful spout of boredom coming on.”

      she   hadn’t   been   in   forks   very   long   ,   but   in   that   time   she’d   heard   chatter   from   the   locals   (   yes   ,   her   grandparents   included   )   about   the   influx   in   visitors   to   the   sleepy   little   pacific   town   .   not   that   either   of   her   grandparents   could   complain   since   it   sparked   an   increase   in   customers   .   dolly   was   lost   in   her   thoughts   just   staring   out   the   window   to   look   at   the   pooring   rain   ,   so   much   so   that   she   didn’t   notice   a   new   person   sitting   in   her   section   until   her   coworker   whispered   something   about   it   in   her   ear   .   “   shit   ,   ”   the   young   woman   said   softly   before   hurrying   over   to   the   table   with   a   smile   on   her   face   ,   not   quite   noticing   how   the   other   patrons   smiled   too   as   she   passed   .   “   hi   there   ,   i’m   so   sorry   about   the   wait   ,   ”   sweet   southern   drawl   tinted   her   words   ,   not   quite   looking   as   she   wished   her   notepad   out   of   her   apron   pocket   .   “   what   can   i   get   started   for   you   ?   ”

felix didn’t know why he decided to wander into may’s diner of all places, but it was a place to spend some time, and seemed a fine enough place. and he had enough blood in his system that he could handle the human food. he found he was having far too much free time recently. even though he’d only been here a week, he already felt foolish for leaving italy. it helped that other members of the volturi were also in town, but not enough to quell his worries completely. the familiar restlessness was also settling in. which meant that he was itching to do something exciting. anything to get his adrenaline pumping and the pesky thoughts of doubt out of his mind. 

he took a seat in the diner, combing through the menu and looking around, using his fine-tuned hearing to listen in on any conversations that might be of interest. when the waitress approached, he felt a surge of, well, it could only be described as joy. it was strange, considering that before she walked over, he’d been feeling overly maudlin. it intrigued him, and he couldn’t fight off his interest in the waitress. 

“not sure,” he answered. “what’s your favorite thing on the menu?”

bio:

felix doesn’t care to remember much of where he comes from or when. it’s all too painful for him, which he would do his damndest to avoid admitting, but which is...sort of obvious by the *gestures* everything about him.

his father was a cruel man. constantly abusing his siblings and mother. felix saw himself as the protector, the savior for his family. he thought he could really help them. he believed he could save them, one day. he planned to get them away and escape in the night.

except before he could, his father discovered his plan and took felix’s family away. he never saw them again, and it broke him to be alone, to no longer be needed.

then, he was turned. and everything changed after that. suddenly, he had a new family—the volturi—who needed him. he found new purpose in protecting his new family. one who made him strong—more than he’d ever been as a human. he loves the power that came with being a vampire. it protects him, and makes him feel like he can protect others in return. he might not have powers like some of the others, but he believes he’s needed, and for a long time, that was enough.

about five years ago, felix began feeling..different. not even a bad sort of different, but as he hadn’t changed much in the two centuries he’d been a vampire, it raised all his alarms. 

for the next three years, he did everything in his power to stamp out that different feeling. but eventually, it snuck its way in, and he finally had to confront it for what is truly was.

this feeling was one of emptiness, of listlessness and loneliness and a lot of other words he doesn’t know or understand. he didn’t dare tell any of the rest of the volturi. he knew what he was feeling was wrong, somehow. definitely not himself. but for the next two years, it consumed him. 

he ultimately decided to follow it, and found forks, washington on a map, seemingly at random, and followed those mess of emotions. now that he’s here, he isn’t sure what the hell he’s even looking for exactly, but he knows, deep down, what it might be.

felix has always had purpose in protecting those he cares for. in using his brute strength to kill and spill blood and destroy anyone who threatened them. but, for maybe the first time in his immortal life, he is wondering if there isn’t meant to be something more than that out there.

not that he’s ready to admit this to anyone, especially himself.

personality/misc.:

felix is...a foolish, murderous...himbo lol. sometimes it’s a bit deeper, but that’s who he truly is, and i gotta let him be fucking crazy, but free.

definitely a jokester and someone who likes to make people laugh, but he’s just as quick to make fun of someone as to bring a smile to their face.

works out more than is good for him. or anyone else, for that matter. may or may not have a secret instagram where he posts thirsttraps don’t @ me.

definitely has a motorcycle he bought when he came to forks and he also definitely has a vintage leather jacket that he got cause he ate/killed the poor guy wearing it.

probably has not read a book in 1000 yrs god help him

wanted connections:

note: all of these are veryyyyyy open to plotting/figuring out details and are subject to change depending on what works best for both of us !!

wary introduction: someone who doesn’t trust felix, no matter how many easy smiles he pours onto them. would be interesting to see what lengths he goes to protect his secret and if they know about the supernatural or not. 

new friend: felix has only been in town a week, so he wouldn’t know anyone too well yet, but maybe your character and felix hit it off right away? maybe they get into some trouble together? maybe they’re just pure chaos? would love to see it.

enemies: felix has probably made one or uh a dozen enemies in his life. let’s have our characters duke it out. childish games or deadly force??? let’s fuck around and find out!!!

manipulator: as we’ve established, this murder!himbo isn’t the brightest bulb in the tanning bed, so maybe your character wants to use him for something? further their own coven’s goals? get him to do something he normally wouldn’t? just some good ole deceit. 

savior complex: felix definitely has white knight syndrome to a ‘t’ so would love to have him have a past connection where he saved them or something. his one good deed for the century, yk? maybe felix won’t leave them alone, or maybe your muse hates him for something else he did that ruined the good thing. totally open to working out what would work best here.

family: the volturi is his family, but i think having different relationships based with them would be really cool! so if you’re in this coven, pls give me a hollar and we can work out if felix and your muse hate, love, would kill without being asked, or simply tolerate one another.

unlikely comrades: i could see felix making some friends that aren’t exactly his normal crew. i would particularly love this for some people who would actually be his enemy in most scenarios. all about that unexpected friendship. 

mate/potential love interest: this is just gonna be really general cause it will definitely rely on your muse and plotting and such, but would be interested in developing out a mate/love interest for him. doesn’t need to be a mate as i know that’s a commitment. but *ben wyatt voice* felix has never had a real relationship in his life. i don’t need this to be immediate, and would actually love to play a long game here with lots of development and getting to know chemistry and such.
