business: I can't afford to pay my employees a living wage.

free market conservatives: Lazy! If you can't afford one of the basic expenses of running a business, you shouldn't be running a business. Go back to school and learn how to run a business! Get a better business model! Why should you expect the rest of us to prop up your failure by feeding and clothing the employees YOU can't pay for with our tax money?

We were all at a panel and we were doing a question and answer. And way up in the balcony was this tiny woman. And she was given the microphone and said, “Yes, hello. First of all, I’m a librarian—” and Amy, with literally no fucking pause, goes “YOU GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW.” It was pretty awesome.

Damn I miss Kansas City.... and my team. No joke KC surprised me. I didn't know what to expect when we were sent there for 2 months to work but I miss it so much. It is truly a Big City  with a down home atmosphere. I wish we didn't have to leave. PS I ate ALL the BBQ lol
