i rarely ever comment on discourse with any more punch than my fandom of the day or whatever ship i'm obsessed with
but
this is just insane. i think this is the push i need to start disengaging from tumblr. in the next few days i am going to start backing up my work (it is all backed up, but i like to keep it safe) and posting it to Dreamwidth. please come find me there.
i am not deleting my blog but i am not gonna post here, at least for a while. if tumblr suddenly comes under new management AND refuses to sell out to midjourney maybe i'll come back?
it sucks because i have spent so much time here (a decade or longer) and i have made my closest friends on this platform. INCLUDING lovely trans women.
if you want to keep in touch you are welcome to add me on discord (@jamesbranwen) but if you like my art please subscribe to my dreamwidth (@jamez) and/or my AO3 (Jamez).

I consume canis root tea these days, which decreases inflammation and has the added benefit of an energy boost. Though my joints still ache, it is more of a constant, low-level ache, as opposed to an acute, sharp pain. I also perform a daily sequence of modified Restoration spells.
If you are looking to prolong your own life, you must become competent in both the schools of Restoration and Necromancy. This is non-negotiable. Besides, you might be surprised at how much the two schools have in common. There was a prolific scholar at the College of Whispers, Khemor Gro-Skaven, who wrote extensively on their relation. I might suggest you look into his body of work.
Dagoth Ur is this roided up muscle-y beast because as a mortal he was a wimpy, pathetic-looking sorcerer and now he's gotta overcompensate to impress Mr. Indoril "son of Boethiah" "patron of warriors" Nerevar
