Are you aware that Iran is about to implement facial recognition software and cameras in public places and on public transportation to capture and prosecute women for bad hijab?
That means there will be a lot more women like Mahsa Amini in the future.
That's another reason the people of Iran are fighting their government in the streets. They truly fear what small freedoms they used to have being taken away by a totalitarian despotic Islamic surveillance state.

The bloodbath has begun, a huge part of protesters are teenagers and people in their early 20s, the anti riot forces has official order to shoot protesters now, the rate of body counts are peaking, There has been a couple of victories for people these past hours but there also has been a lot of causalities, the internet connection is lost in most cities, we're afraid but it looks like no one's backing down. We don't need USA or UN to help us. I've never been more proud of my people.

The first pride was a riot, more specifically a riot against police violence. Trans women of colour like Marsha P. Johnson paved the way for the celebration of pride today. You cannot celebrate your pride this month, or any month if you aren’t also supporting Black Lives Matter and the riots going on against police violence right now. Us white LGBTQ+ need to stand up for our black siblings and their rights, their struggles. We need to amplify their voices and show any support we can.Hey! Better yet, reblog this version:
Extensive BLM Google doc including places to donate to, education resources, etc

i hope that one day we live in a world where children are allowed to just be children, where they dont have to fight tooth and nail for their rights and their futures, but i could not be prouder of this generation

I wish i could find this one article written in I believe the 90’s that went under the radar on abortion. The author said that the “life” arguments are basically useless on either side and what actually matters is that humans shouldn’t have a right to use other human bodies as a resource without consent no matter how alive or sentient they are, even if they’re on the brink of death you have the right to deny them access to you. It probably was too radical for pro-choice activists back in those days but like…that’s the most robust arguement lol so we need 2 being that back and dead the pontifications and splitting hairs about “life” in my honest onion

Head down, knees up.
This isn’t how it’s supposed to be.
Eyes shut, breathe in.
Did I say I was sorry?
Eyes open, mouth closed.
Will they remember me?
Door locked, lights off.
I don’t want to die.
Keep quiet, stay hidden.
Or else, they might find us.
On the News, the NRA
Is selling guns to kill us.

Hi everyone
I’m not the type to do this normally, but I need help. My bosses fucked me over - I’m a waitress at a country club, and I’m making 2.13 an hour. I was promised 8.50 an hour. The 2.13 would normally be fine, because tips fill out the rest of the money, but no one here tips. I made $48 in tips in the last 2 weeks, and can show my paystubs to prove it.
I’m asking for help - I can offer fics and things in exchange for commission, please DM me if you would like one. I also run an Etsy where I sell potions and things that I’ve made - everything is handmade by a practicing witch. Or, if you just want to donate, my PayPal is at the bottom of the page. Thank you all!

Being part of the social justice culture or the “stay woke” culture, I usually thought that the main purposes were to:
1) Unlearn what was taught to you
2) Learn what was never taught to you
3) Educate those around you with the knowledge you have
