I am Mahmoud Hamam. Most of those in this application have heard my name or know me because I frequently publish about my family in Gaza, but now I will explain to you completely who I am.

About Mahmoud: A 21-year-old engineering student from Gaza. I am ambitious and passionate. I love my education and my work. I have a beautiful, conservative, and friendly family.

I was working as a freelancer before October 7th, but with the war I lost my job and left my home heading to the southern Gaza Strip. I lived the worst months of my life searching for my life between transporting water, feeding my family and escaping death. I wasted two years of my life without a goal, just escaping death. I got my expenses and my family’s expenses from your donations, but now I am searching for my dream again in these circumstances.

I created the Isnad initiative, which aims to help students in Gaza who lost their dreams, just like me! Today I am proud to have helped more than 70 students complete their education!! But today! I work in the initiative for 6 hours a day, but I can't stand on my feet after 3 hours. Why? Because famine killed us in Gaza. I feel nauseous quickly and I can't complete my day unless I get the nutritional supplement designated for children!! Can you imagine that?

Famine has filled the sector and prices are very high. My campaign has $30,000. I have been collecting this amount for two years and only $5,000 is left to reach my goal. I am really exhausted and hungry. The only thing left for me is you guys. Please allocate $10 for me! To give up some sweets and cigarettes today in exchange for providing me with some bread, is that possible?

hello my friends, i am extremely thankful for all the help i have gotten from here, not just me, but the people i have raised donations for, but i am stuck again. my parents have refused to help me with moving in etc (and i told them i would need help this month)

Nour (@noor509) is raising funds so he can provide basic needs for his two children, one of whom was born in the middle of this genocidal war! Imagine trying to raise and feed a baby in a genocide, in the midst of constant bombings and with no aid being allowed in! Israel has killed at least 17,400 children during its war on Gaza! With Israel's constant attacks, survival is no easy feat, especially with a baby so young!

To make things worse, their Gofundme fundraiser was closed by GFM when the campaign organizer Andrea (@roadimusprime) switched how he transferred the money to Nour. They have created a PayPal link to collect funds, but donations to Nour have been suffering ever since! Please share and donate if you are able to! Every little bit helps!

The initiative will be forced to stop its activities if it does not raise the sum. This is heartbreaking.

💢A plea to everyone who sees my post 💢

I am Alaa Al-Hanjouri, 32 years old. I used to work as a teacher, educating children and carrying their dreams on my shoulders...😥😥

but the Gaza war left us with everything. My home was destroyed, my dreams shattered, and my family of six became homeless refugees, searching for a life amidst the rubble.😭💔💔

What saddens me most now is my daughter, Souad... a child no older than six years old, suffering from severe anemia. Her body is emaciated, her eyes are sunken, she sleeps crying from the pain, and she wakes up weaker than the day before. We cannot afford treatment, not even the food that would help her fight the disease.💔💔

I am helpless, and that is what exhausts me the most. Seeing your child wither before your eyes and your inability to save him. All I ask of you is your help... for Souad, and for every father like me who has lost the ability to protect their children.

My four-year-old sister Soso has caught chickenpox from other children while her body and immune system have been weakened to the extreme by the war. Her state is not normal for a simple case of chickenpox. She’s battling a high fever while we all suffer from the intense heat without windows or clean fresh water. She doesn’t even have the energy to fight for the phone anymore.

I’m eternally grateful to everyone who shared my last post and those who donated. We were able to buy a few fever reducers. I truly wish what we’ve received was enough, but Soso also needs food to get better. Clean water is also our greatest dream. I know it sounds exaggerated, but I swear it’s true, a single 25kg bag of flour costs $1,000 in my area. That’s why I have to keep asking…

“Hello, my name is Ahmed, 19 years old from Gaza. I finished high school with a high average and a very good grade, and because of the genocide war on Gaza, I was deprived of enrolling in university. I had dreams and ambitions to study photographic design, but I was deprived of all of that because of the genocide war on Gaza. I was living the best days of my youth. But with the beginning of this war, I became unable to live my normal life. At least our warm house sheltered me and my family until it was bombed for the first time, that damned night. Our house has become like a ghost town. We continued to seek refuge from death there until we were besieged and displaced from our safety under fire to a tent (shelter) in the bitter cold of winter, with the lack of basic necessities of life (water pollution, high cost of living, disease, insect infestation, malnutrition, difficulty of movement, overcrowding), and many other daily difficulties, especially with the significant increase in prices. This was not the first time we had to be displaced. We moved again from a tent in Rafah to another tent in Khan Yunis. Please help me achieve my dream of completing my academic career at university and for my family to survive this genocide and escape to a safe place and travel.”
