i've got a question for my cod girls.

as the end of sieve looms over the horizon, i find myself contemplating my reach in this fandom. i'll be completely honest and say that while i write mostly to sate my own desires for what i wish to see in this fandom, i do want to be seen. i want to make an impact. i want people to find my writing and see something in it that's personal to them.

my problem is that i don't know if the way i'm writing will achieve that. specifically, i wonder if my use of 'silena' as simon's name in my fics is dissuading people from reading my fics.

my only condition when writing is that i won't write men in my reader - inserts. it's just not something i can really bring myself to do, for a multitude of reasons. at one point, i considered just using 'simon' and giving him she / her pronouns since it would have been all the same to me, and now that thought is resurfacing.

so my question is. . .which would you prefer for my next fic(s)?
