he's still coming down from the laugh when he feels the hand on his tight. truth be told, he expected to already be back on his apartment, about to pass out after a good lay — that's just how dates usually went. but vost actually invited him to sit down at the bar, and told the waiter to put william's drink in his tab. it was much sweeter than what he's used to. it was scary, but a good scary.

it was going quite well for a first date, they were laughing and vost was such a good listener, letting will talk his ass out about his work and how stressful it could get sometimes. but, well, he liked a good lay as well and vost seemed like he was going to be a good one, so he didn't hesitate to agree. "yeah, absolutely... my place or yours?"

Vost chuckled, glancing downwards into his drink for a bit. “Uh… you know, you’re the funniest guy I’ve spoken to in a while.” His nervousness wasn’t all an act, it had been a while since he’d been out in the dating/hook-up scene after all. There really wasn't much time for any of that, especially with how demanding his job was — though if the other man were to ask, so was his cover job as a construction manager. The agent placed his hand on the man’s thigh then, giving him a small smile. Vost knew he had been getting good vibes from his mark, so he gambled by being a little bit more forward. "I was thinking... maybe... you'd wanna get out of here?"

if there was one thing max was great at, it was procrastinating. he'd gotten a lot of practice throughout high school, and college was being no different. not his fault most of the bullshit essays and stupid projects were, well, stupid bullshit. and, if there was another thing he was good at, it'd be gaining time. also a lot of practice during high school. stalling, dancing around his problems, gaming the system. and he'd have to game hard to get at least another day for his calculus bullshit project. so, knocking on his professor's door was it.

the guy had a lovely porch, lovely garden. but fuck, not a great attitude. uptight as fuck, he probably saw max as his arch-nemesis, just cause he couldn't but sleep or scroll his phone through most of his classes. why the fuck did that dude even care? but, well, max would have to kiss his annoying ass if he wanted to get a bit more time to finish the project. he takes a deep breath when he hears footsteps coming. ass-kissing mode, on.

but it wasn't his professor who opened the door. instead, max was, for a few seconds, confusedly staring at a quite good-looking man wearing nothing but a bath robe. and then it clicked, and he puts on his best charming smile. “oh, hey there, um - sorry, i must be in the wrong place... i was looking for a college professor, not a super model.”
