Juliana Pankratz may not have gone to Oxenfurt, depending on her father's willingness to send a mere daughter to university. On the other hand, if she did go and managed to get herself "ruined" then that would make a great excuse for her father to send her off as tribute - gets her out of his household while making him look Loyal and Generous to his king! Means he doesn't have to deal with the scandal of a daughter who (gasp) enjoys sex!

From that point, though...I'm not sure what would change. She'd still be terrified of Geralt to start with, and then fall madly in love. She'd still be a confidante and mentor for Ciri. She'd still become the Witchers' bard.

Finished my "Bubble Tea" quilt. My patchwork group has a exhibition this autumn in the tea museum of our town and I needed something to show.

This ist 40 by 50 cm with a pieced background, then appliqued with yoyos and buttons. Since I was too lazy for actual quilting, it is just the quilt top nailed to a canvas.
