fuck the people that harassed mikayla raines into committing suicide. fuck the people that happily spread around a smear campaign that was so obviously manufactured by fur farmers.

you killed this woman, and for what? for fucking what? because you wanted to sit here and argue that there’s nothing wrong with the fur farming industry like an ignorant moron?? or maybe it was because you wanted to save these foxes, who you thought were being abused and mistreated by mikayla??

oh no, that can’t possibly be it, because the post people link back to time and time again and explaining how save a fox is a terrible, corrupt organization starts with the defence of fur farmers and ends with the casual and cruel advocacy for fox death.

these monsters were honestly arguing that mikayla shouldn’t have bothered spending time and money looking after sick and injured foxes. that it was a “waste of time”. that “that’s the problem with these organizations, they care too much about individual animals”. they should’ve just let them die, or not bothered to rescue them at all. these heartless fucking creatures looked at those foxes, happy and safe and enjoying their lives, well taken care of and having their needs met, and thought “they’d be better off dead”. and mikayla is the problem. right. i’m fucking sure she was.

Rest in peace Mikayla Raines.

Mikayla Raines was the founder of Save A Fox, a rescue group dedicated to saving foxes, coyotes, cats, among other animals, and giving them a sanctuary to be safe. Mikayla was an amazing person with a beautiful personality that shined inside out. Mikayla struggled with Autism, Depression, and other things that she tried so hard to overcome. She was a loving, empathetic person who took others problems to heart and felf pain with them. Behind this bubbly, kind, gentle soul, was a woman just trying to do her best and have a good life. She was victim of harassment from other sanctuarys, people she knew in real life, and complete strangers who pushed her to the limit. Yesterday Mikayla's husband posted a video on the Save A Fox YouTube channel and shared with the world the devastating news that Mikayla Raines had taken her own life a few days prior due to the intense pressure of everything she was going through. Mikayla leaves behind a loving husband and daughter with hearts of gold and all the animals she rescued. Rest in peace, Mikayla. You were loved more than you could ever know.

hello there, i am a severely disabled trans person who is currently developing crohn's disease who also deals with arthritis, schizophrenia, and hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome. i have been very sick for the past 6 months, dealing with unhealthy rapid weight loss, nausea, vomiting, diahrrea, constipation, dehydration, exhaustion, brain fog, and malnutrition. i have barely been making any money lately because of how sick i've been, so i have fallen behind on electric bill payments due to having to prioritize rent.

i actually prefer the idea of jax's fear of corn not having had any initial trigger. i mean irl there's lots of fears that are just completely irrational. it would make for decent representation, too, i think? and also it's a good habit to just...
