i deleted this after posting last night and am deciding to go ahead and post ANYWAY because the hormone monster designs are super fun

Even though I’m excited for a Phineas and Ferb movie with Candace in the lead role I REALLY hope that it’s not a story about Candace learning to appreciate her brothers and such. The series does that well enough on it’s own and there have been a few episodes about it. I personally don’t want the plot of the movie doesn’t have Candace acting like a bratty queen, turns on her brothers and acts like a jerk after they went through hell to save her, only to have a moment where she realizes she really loves her brothers and has to apologize. We’ve already seen Candace as the spoiled ruler and honestly I don’t want a scene where she lashes out at her brothers undeserved. I don’t mind them arguing or getting into a fight, I just don’t want it to lead to any of the characters being jerks. I would hate it if they put a scene in the movie where Candace says something like, “I wish I didn’t have brothers!” or “I’m happier without you!”

Instead I hope it focuses more on her own demons that were born from having two genius brothers who can bend the universe to their will. Candace has deeply set insecurities, jealousy, and doubt because she feels she can never measure up to her brothers, not to mention the fact that the universe bends backwards for them where as it usually punishes her for wanting her brothers receive the same treatment she would in their situation. I would like to have the movie force Candace face these insecurities and find her own self worth and embrace what she can do without comparing herself to Phineas and Ferb. Maybe a small scene where Phineas and Ferb tell her that she inspired their creativity with the stuff she used to do when they were young as it’s been hinted throughout the series that Candace has creative ideas, they just don’t turn out the way she envisions, or she’s missing some practical components.

Course that’s just me. Ether way I’m super excited for “Candace Against the Universe.”

i did kinda do some musing on and older pnf gang and phineas was fun to think about- him and isabella dated through college, even though phin started to question his sexuality during that time. they continued dating, even with his doubt, and ended up getting married and having two kids. but, he hit a wall and couldnt continue pretending to be someone he wasnt. 

after an emotional divorce, and an agreement to joint custody, phineas and isabella split up.

so, with that specific type of colorblindness [ protanomoly ], it makes reds harder to detect but also makes the eyes more sensitive to greens, blues, and yellows.

my idea behind this headcanon is ferb’s green hair- its obviously not his natural hair color, even this cartoon universe abides by genetic laws, so the color is a personal choice because its one of the more vibrant colors he can actually see. [ which im positive lawrence would have been supportive of  from the get go. i kind of imagine the green hair starting as something simple, like ferb being a typical toddler and covering his head in one of the few colors he could see- and then both of his parents just rolling with it. ]

which also leads into the thought of him not being able to detect the color purple well, so he honestly thinks hes wearing blue majority of the time
