Out of all the characters in regretevator, pilby and mach have to be some of the most miss-characterised by the fandom

FOR THE LAST GOD DAMN TIME, PILBY IS NOT A CHILD, AND MACH ISNT SOME EVIL ABVSIVE WEIRDO WHO STOLE PILBY FROM THEIR MOTHER.

People who continue to say and headcanon this stuff are literally just proving that they have never/barely play the game, because both characters HAVE DIALOGUE THAT DISPROVES THIS.

Mach talks several times about how pilby is her friend, and how she LITERALLY WANTS TO HELP PILBY GET BACK TO THEIR MOTHER. She also mentions how not even her power can get her across the abyss, which, guess what, IS WHERE PILBY'S MUM IS!! she literally physically could not have stolen pilby away from their mum, it's not possible, she's not strong enough to.

And pilby has dialogue, WHICH IS VERY EASY TO ACCESS MIGHT I ADD, that mentions how they GRADUATED SCHOOL and there are STILL people who infantilise them. Pilby is not a fucking child. Pilby does not see mach as a parental figure. Pilby doesn't see ANY npcs as a parental figure. BEE THEMSELVES (the person who created pilby) HAS TALKED ABT HOW THEY DISLIKE PEOPLE INFANTILISING PILBY. they are at LEAST over 20 years old, STOP DEPICTING THEM AS A CHILD FOR THE LOVE OF GOD 😭🙏

sooo I tried out this game called “Realistic Spray Paint” and it works (kinda) like an actual drawing program; like it was actually really easy to work with and there’s many mechanics like stabilisation and moving around your camera. Anyway tried drawing Pilby in it, I like it. I may try using it again (ignore the ugly ass hands pls I really didn’t wanna try with it😭

This is Malaise! An eerie student who has an odd obsession with bugs. I made him for an oc challenge with a friend so I dunno if I’m gonna actually make him an official oc… Soo yeah. Also his elbow to his wrist is a combination of a box cutter and a pocket knife; that’s why his sleeves are all messed up, he accidentally cuts them.

some changes/facts about Toonie

She’s 17

Her height is 5’7

She acts all nice and pretty around the other students and teachers, however she can get pretty mean and sarcastic sometimes

She HAD a younger sister… (her name is Oliva! I’m working on a ref for her)

Her favorite animal is rabbits, hence why she has a pet rabbit named Lior (I’ve already shown him, but I plan to redesign him anyway)

She has a weak stomach and is a pretty picky eater. Toonie strays away from most meats and junk foods, her diet mostly consisting of vegan foods (she isn’t vegan)

Her hair isn’t actually tangled, she takes quite good care of herself (I’m not saying mentally)

Toonie has been doing gymnastics ever since she was ten! And theatre actually isn’t a very big part of her life, it’s just something she enjoys

For those who don't know, Rafah Crossing is closed. Meaning Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are technically not allowed to go into Egypt through Rafah Crossing (with exceptions, like holding a foreign passport) so in order to evacuate, Palestinians need to bribe Egyptian border security officials. The standard price used to be about $5000 - 7000 per person but some Palestinians have been told to pay $10,000 per person just to cross the border, forget other expenses like food and boarding.

For a group of people who are enduring genocide and the complete destruction of their homes that money is impossible to raise without the help of fundraising. That and the collapse of the UNRWA is the reason you're seeing so many Gofundmes nowadays. The entire aid system is gone with the exception of local aid organisations that have limited reach.

So if you see a credible fundraiser, please at the very least share it so it can reach more people. This list by @el-shab-hussein is a good place to start.
