some of you might know about the green comet whooshing by earth for the first time in like 50,000 years. i LOVE that thing, been trying (and failing) to see it for the past couple of days. it's now whooshing away from earth again, and i never did end up seeing it, but by god am i gonna miss it. so here's to the green, diatomic-carbon-saturated ball of space goop that came by to visit us for a little while <3

my heart fell out while i was on a walk through the forest and it got covered in pine needles and then an osprey picked it up but she dropped it in the sea and the fish ate a hole straight through it before it was washed ashore and when i found it again chamomiles were growing in the cavity. i put it back inside of me and now the world seems stranger and more beautiful than ever

the premise of the green knight is so fucking wild. dude was literally like "whosoever strikes me, even the teeniest little hit, will win the game - but they have to come back to me in a year and ill return the exact same blow to them" and gawain was like "radical." and chopped his whole fuckin head off
