I just got here, but this was very helpful, so hopefully it helps someone else!
To all of the people moving here from Twitter I need to tell you something. But first things first, welcome. I know that you might be here and feel out of place but just know that there are people here that will take all of you in with open arms.
So let’s talk about something that the newer people on here seem to not understand and that is the importance of reblogging posts.
On Tumblr, likes are basically meaningless. They’re about as good as the save button on Instagram. Likes are basically a bookmark. Likes do not help with engagement on here and they do not help the creators on here. If you like a post, reblog the post. Reblogs are so important on here.
Reblogs are one of the most helpful tools on Tumblr. On Tumblr, your engagement on a post heavily relies on the amount of reblogs it gets. If you truly want to support a writer, artist, creator, etc. don’t just leave a like, reblog the post!
Now I may not be up to speed on all of the tumblr etiquette but I do know this fundamental rule. If there’s one thing new Tumblr users should learn, it’s the power of a reblog.

ROBOT! ONCE AGAIN!
(lore below!)
This right here is the 1991 Molat, a robot originally designed to comb through landfills and scrapyards in search of anything still valuable. They gradually fell out of use when society started wasting less, but many have been reactivated now that the robots are locked away underground. Nowadays, the Molats pick through their tunnels in hopes of finding anything useful to help out their friends.
+ Bonus fact: In order to dump their bins, Molats flip their entire bodies upside down!

HERE IS ANOTHER ROBOT. THIS ONE IS SAD :(
(lore below!)
The Magnusson Robotics factory facility was gigantic, and stretched down underground for miles. So, despite Management's efforts to keep everything perfectly organized, it was inevitable that some things went unaccounted for. Such was the case with the robot pictured here, a mysterious machine of unknown purpose that robots still sometimes spot out of the corner of their eyes. It has never been caught, but the robots like to speculate in who it might be. They all hope it will stop hiding one day.

GREETINGS, TUMBLR. THIS IS A ROBOT THAT I DREW. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT❗️
(Lore below)
This right here is the Ular ‘82, a robotic handyman created by Magnusson Robotics in 1982. Such robots were sent to fix anything that needed fixing in the M.R. factories, moving around the complex on ceiling-mounted delivery rails. Their hard-wired order to fix things allowed them to repair machinery, patch fusion batteries, and talk things out with robots who were feeling sad.
