Perhaps, we may. Like we stated in our rules, all the mods that work behind this blog are constantly busy and also run more rp blogs so we can’t spend all our time here. If we find the time and the motivation to return and be more active here, we will.

Would you look at that? This blog is not dead (yet). Here is a quick explanation on why we have been a mess and responding things sporadically/not getting anything done.

As stated in the rules, all the mods are quite busy people and this is what got to us. Between real life, other blogs and more, we did not find the time or the spirit to come and work on things. Both Mod Mitama and I, (since no other mod has appeared, ha) have decided that we want to keep going with this blog, and thus we are DROPPING the requests we had and starting fresh. You are welcome to send things now, we are very sorry for our absence.

This is a bit more of a general advice thing, but what do you think Ryoma might call Corrin? (I mean as an equivalent to how Xander calls them "little prince(ss)") Thank you!

We as mods couldn’t reach a conclusion, therefore we will only say that it is up to you to choose it and make it unique.

Oof, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I just need a little advice... I've never been in this fandom, and I wanted to roleplay Leo after playing through Fates. I noticed there are A LOT of Leo players, which is cool (we could totally have a squad), but would people be annoyed if yet another popped up? Should I just stick to Leo, or go with another character I could build muse for?

However, to answer your question: You should stick to the muse you feel comfortable with, and you enjoy writing for. While, yes, there may be a lot of blogs that write and portray the same muse, I always say the same thing: People have yet to see YOUR interpretation and grasp on the character. Besides, everyone is always happy to welcome any new blogs that decide to join the community. Do what makes you happy and don’t feel disencouraged by duplicates.

Hey, do you get artist permission to use their art? I got asked to not use one of the icons I was given because the artist was never asked permission and didn't want me using it. I can't remember if I got the icon from you guys or not, just wanted to know.

Hi, due to most of the mods that work on icons and graphics suffer from really bad anxiety, we usually can’t. However, most of the time we provide credits for the art we use, if we’re able to find the original source. I don’t know about the other mods but as for me, I try to make sure the artists are okay with people using their art or I use official art. If it happens to be one of our icons, please make sure to inform us and we’ll take it down as soon as possible. I’m rambling now, but I hope that was useful, yeah.

Hello! This isn't really a FE question, but rather a general roleplay question... I'd like to start roleplaying in the community as a Henry, but I'm having a little trouble with themes and such. Do you have a tutorial, or some advice for me? If not, that's alright!

Well, anon, I am well-versed in the spectacle that is blog making, so I’ve made several themes ( as well as those requested from here ), and I’d be happy to tell you how to get started.

As far as the code is concerned, I recommend these themes and resources for editing:

Hollywhood’s Theme 41

Octomoosey’s The Sketch [Theme 36] ( this blog also has a variety of theme and coding tutorials that have helped me in the past! )

Though not a theme source, this blog is also very helpful when learning how to handle coding.

If you don’t want a background/container theme Yukoki’s and Octomoosey’s non-container themes are also helpful and require very little coding experience.

When coding themes, you want the font to be readable, have an easily accessable about page, rules page, and, this is optional, a mun page. Your theme can be as fancy as you want it to be, but if it’s hard to navigate or read, no dice.

When it comes to creating backgrounds for your themes, I recommend the use of Photoshop. Elements, CS6, CC—whatever you have. Gimp also works, and it’s free, unlike Photoshop. I’m sure there are cracked sources out there, though I’m not sure where to find them, and don’t want to risk linking them. For that, I apologize. You can also use Pixlr’s Photo Editor. It’s a lot like Photoshop, but it can’t be used on computer while you’re offline. The mobile versions can be, however.

When making backgrounds, it’s very important that you keep the link to the source of the art you used. Otherwise you may/most definitely will upset the artist, and, well, it’s only right and just to give credit where it’s due!

Hi! I'm an OC and I feel like because of this I get ignored a lot. I would make a canon blog, but I never have the same kind of muse for any characters but my OCs. But if I were to make a canon blog, how might I go about picking a muse?

Hi! Well, first I would say that most OCs are well welcomed into the community without a problem, and that you should stick with what makes you happy. If you don’t have the same kind of muse for a canon character than an OC, I recommend thinking about what character you’d like to play the most, a character you feel like you would have fun writing as and go ahead. Roleplaying is a hobby, after all. 

You can try picking a character you like a lot and you feel like you could easily write.

Hi there! Before we start my question, I think this site is the bomb! :D Anyways, what advice would you give for a person who usually rps characters from the older games (FE4 is already 20 yrs old QAQ) that wants to start up some rps with Awakening/Fates folk? What are their attitudes towards ppl like me? I'm fairly nervous since I only have around 1 yr experience in rps and am afraid that my writing might scare them away, as well as my muses, not to mention my young age.

Hello, and thank you, we appreciate hearing those comments. Well, for your question, I think you shouldn’t worry so much about portraying characters from older games. I have seen a stable community in those games, and people from Awakening/Fates are pretty open to them. For the most part, we have never seen a negative attitude towards characters from older games.

As for your age, three of the mods are young, we haven’t been discriminated for our age by other roleplayers and we don’t think something like that should happen to you. For your experience, don’t worry! We all start somewhere and 1 year of experience is already something to be considered! Your writing will be fine.
