I used to think that Jesus got through life because he was the only begotten .. but now I realise he got through life because he overcame it, persevered and endured all whilst trusting in the Father with a brightness of hope, full of faith. I used to think he overcame temptation because he had all these cool powers to perform miracles.. like of course a man that can walk on water can withstand the devil? I now understand he could perform those miracles because he believed in the power of God and acted on that faith.

Jesus was special because he overcame all of this for us.. but it doesn’t mean at times he didn’t feel as weak AS US. It doesn’t mean he wasn’t subject to the SAME struggles as us. I sit and I wallow in self pity at the fact I’ll never be able to be like Jesus in my trials because Im not a Demi God.. but the truth is I can.. because that’s not why he could do all he could. It was because of his faith and spiritual stamina having full confidence in the purpose of his existence ..

Dear Grant, You may be miles away but you’re always the scream of my mind. You will always be my favorite love and comfort. You may be away but no one compares to the joy, love and comfort you gave to me. I once lived the standards that I thought was the best but because of you, my standards went from 20 to 100. You gave me the standards a girl will forever set. You gave me the standards the only you can give and no one can compare or reach. You gave me the world that I will forever long to have and I will always look for. You gave me world that I want to live in forever. You gave me the comfort that is comfortable as a pillow and bed. You gave me the love and care that I will not try to find to other guys because I know that there is only you in this world. You taught me that imperfection is beautiful and wonderful to live with the eternal perspective. You taught me my worth as a girl. You taught and gave me what I deserve. You taught me how to love with self sacrifice. You taught me that I have the ability to love flaws and imperfections.

I love all of you grant and each piece of you. Im always willing to give you what you deserve. You are the kind of guy who really deserves the kind of love I can offer and will offer more! I want to see you grow and progress. I do admire you through your flaws and qualities. Even if u have a bad temper, I will never hesitate to tickle your heart. (sarap mo ksing lambingin yiee) What we have is really special for me that I want to have during the process of our progression and through eternity. That’s why I strive to be really obedient to our Heavenly Father because I asked for one of his sons for me to love always named, Melgaszar Grant Gamas and that’s you mylove. I really do have the faith in us. I can see my self building an eternal family with you. Being a good wife and mom to your kids. To carry and deliver your kids in this world and grow them with love and spiritual nourishment. I see my self being the best wife of yours. and being a good mission wife with my mission president! Hahahaha! It is too early to say but I do really want you this much. We will be together according to our faith, works, obedience and according to God’s perfect time. We are not in hurry because we trust in God’s plan and time table. ❤️

Im forever thankful for meeting you while walking in my straight and narrow road. You will always be the best for me. I love you Grant and I want this love to grow. You will always be my favorite story and I hope me and you will have good fruits because of our faith. I love you, love! 😊❤️

If ever I will have a boyfriend . . .

We date because we plan to marry someone. We date for a purpose. We date to search more into the soul of a person. We enter into a relationship because we see potential with them to spend our eternity. We should not date for fun, we should do it in the Lord’s way and purpose.

If ever I will have a boyfriend, my mind set will be very different in the standards and culture of the society. Having the fullness of Heavenly Father’s love and the gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my perspective very much. For me, the moment I will say my yes to a guy as my boyfriend is also the moment that I have chosen him to be my companion in preparation to temple marriage. Just like when you plan to be a doctor. You need to have your preparation course. When you plan to cook, you have to but the ingredients first. When you plan to marry inside the temple and you had chosen one individual to have it with, you need to have your preparation.

For me dating or having a boyfriend is not all about hugs and kisses, dates or sweet messages. It is also about doing Heavenly Father’s purpose for love to exist and relationship to come between a man and a woman. If ever I will have a boyfriend, I will tell him that we should have time to study the scriptures and read about Eternal Marriage together. Eternal Marriage because that is our purpose and that must be our destination. We should put up always in our minds what is our purpose of having a relationship. I want us to grow together spiritually even before temple marriage. We should treat each other well and always with love, effort, sweetness and care. I want us to follow the Lord’s standards in dating specially not doing the sacred power of procreation outside marriage. We should be a team to help each other overcome things and learn more about Heavenly Father’s commandments and love for us. We should collaborate. We should be in the church together always. We should show Heavenly Father that we are worthy to marry inside the temple and to do the task he commanded Adam & Eve. God has a purpose why man and woman is attracted to one another and why he made them. He implanted this attraction in us for his plan of salvation to grow and progress. Because of this attraction, more of his spirit children will have the chance to have their probational life and his plan of salvation goes on.

So what are my standards?

I want a Returned Missionary. A man who comes after his mission is a different man. I believe that returned missionaries have spiritual learning and experiences that caused them to grow their love the the Savior.

I want an active member of the Church. I also want a guy who takes the scriptures and the talks of the prophets seriously.

I want a family oriented guy. I want a guy who treats his parents and siblings with love, sweetness and care. I want a guy who respects his family and has a big concern about them. This will reflect on How is he going to be a father and husband someday.

I want a sinner but repents and strives to be better. You do not find perfection but you must see a willing and fighting soul.

I want someone who observes the Law of Chastity. He must be chaste in his words, thoughts and action. He must know the sacredness of procreation, sexual feelings and stuffs. He must treat me with respect. He must always see me as a daughter of God.

I want someone who fasts and pray. I believe that if a man makes this his practice, he becomes closer to Heavenly Father.

I want someone who is Kind, Gentleman and sweet. Someone who has high temper and does not shout (I’m so sensitive) Someone who will court me everyday. Someone who will do everything for me. Someone who will see me as a gem and also do it in actions to prove to me that I really am. Someone who knows what I deserve. Someone who is anxious about me and so concern. Someone who can be with me thru ups and downs.

I want someone who dreams big and hopes for a bright future. I want someone who have goals in life.

I want someone who knows the attributes and teachings of Jesus Christ and strives to follow it to become like him.

Someone who will correct me with my wrong doings.

I want someone who has a big heart for the people. Who follows the most important act of the Savior which is charity.

I want someone that can also be my best friend. Someone I can goof around, laugh with and make fun with. Having a lover and a best friend is the best!

As I set my standards, I also strive to be worthy of whoever priesthood holder is that guy. I believe that Heavenly Father matches people perfectly and he will give you what you deserve. According to your faith, hard work to follow his commandments and how you strive to have a virtuous partner. :)

As of today, I’m enjoying life with the Fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Because of it, I’m a better person today. If you’re going to ask me what is my life and the story of my life, the first thing that comes in my mind is I’m living his Gospel and life is amazing. It covers my whole life. It can tell a lot If I’m going to tell my life. I have lots of wrongs before but I know that I was forgiven and loved. My past didn’t matter anymore because of his Gospel. I was given a second chance to live my life according to his will and instructions in this probation life. I’m blessed for having an eternal perspective in life. Because of his gospel, I feel great every day and I feel doing good things with my thoughts, deeds and actions. I can’t explain the goodness with this extraordinary feeling. It is so overwhelming. All I can say about it is, love, peace and comfort. I never felt God in my life this great before. You know the feeling that I was dead inside for a long time, then suddenly I feel alive? I seriously live for him. I know my purpose here on earth. I know why I’m here. I know my destination after this mortal life. I know his instructions in order to come home safely and blameless before the bar of Jesus Christ. I’m a sinner but I strive every day. I’m submissive to Heavenly Father and willing to live under his commandments. I live for God because I love him and I do my best to please him always. This is the summary of my life.

I’m a Mormon and I live and love it. I will always and forever stand for what I believe. I will always stand for what I know is true for Heavenly Father has manifested unto me the truth by the power of the Holy Ghost. I will always strive to please Heavenly Father and be the daughter that he wants me to be. I will not hear the world’s voice, only my Heavenly Father’s. I believe that he loves me truly. I will always stand for righteousness. I’m a sinner whose always looking up to the Atonement. I will always follow Christ and live in his Love. I know I took the right path and I know I’m on my way to Eternal Life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church in this Earth and has changed my life in many ways. I’m a daughter of a king and trials and temptations are nothing to me for I know who I live for and what I am. This is my testimony. I leave this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. <3

Last night my mind came with questions. I decided to write them down. I have lots of questions for Heavenly Father and I got things to ask for and I’m willing to fast for it. I’m willing to work for it. Its not easy but I will always look forward to the price. I’m asking my Heavenly Father for Strength on everything. I won’t deny, my soul has struggles. Struggles that makes me cry. Struggles that shatters me into pieces. Trying to escape in a cage with chains in my feet. I still don’t have the freedom being a Mormon in my family. How can I do this? When is the time for them to hear the gospel? It hurts me to do the things that isnt pleasant to Heavenly Father and I don’t want them to be blind forever. Can he be the prize for my obedience? There is this guy I really want to take care of forever. I want to love forever. Sounds impractical for some of you but I am serious about him and he has the potential.  I believe Heavenly Father wont let us down. I know he gives all the things that we ask for as long as we are worthy.
