Your character’s favorite person in the whole worlds dies. in front of them. What’s their realistic reaction?

What’s their worst/most dramatic/most fun to write reaction?

Say everyone dies. Your character is now completely alone. How does that go?

Say your character’s loved one(s) is just comatose/literally asleep in the sky. How does their reaction change? Does it even change?

Oooo- I'll stick with just Icia for all of these.

If Lance were to die in front of Icia, what happened in the dungeon would happen again. The storm, the spikes, and the freezing. Nothing would be able to stop it though, and she would essentially pull an Elsa and freeze solid. She'd become an unmeltable ice sculpture with varying spikes jutting off her. She'd also use her last moments of movement to cradle his body in a way no one can move him from, so she's holding him for all eternity.

Her most fun-to-write reaction? Remember the situation in mix's bar, after they killed AI kopi, and real Kopi walked in, and Icia was like "... oh for FUCKS SAKE"? That kinda reaction. The reaction she has when she's so tired of fighting but thinks she has to, and she loses all her elegance and care for her image. That. It's fucking hilarious to me.

Abstraction. If she doesn't abstract, then she's formally putting herself to rest.

Kinda depends on circumstances ig? I mean, they'd still be alive, so she's not 100% going to abstract- BUT it's still a high possibility. If she doesn't though, then she instead devotes herself to being like. Their caretaker. Think of a nurse caring for someone in a coma or something- she wouldn't do much things for herself anymore, just try and keep them comfortable.
