Hello World!
This is a devlog for a game project called Ferus, which is currently being developed by a single developer. That's me. Hi! However, I haven't been completely alone on this journey. The original idea and design progress have been (and still are) greatly influenced by my friends, to whom I'll be forever thankful.
This devlog's purpose is to help with motivation by documenting progress and gain valuable feedback that can inspire the development further. Welcome on the ride with me!
What's Ferus about?
Ferus aims to be a in-depth survival game that places players in the untamed world of wild horses. As the player, you embody a wild horse navigating vast open landscapes with your herd, seeking food and water, while avoiding predators and natural hazards. Do you have what it takes to not only survive, but thrive?
Currently on the agenda (not in a specific order)
Create wild horse concept art
Create a placeholder 3D model with simple animations (idle, walk, trot, lope, gallop, eat/drink, attack)
Create code for gaits
Define the design bible
