"Hello, prydferth!" As they strolled through the park, Reynardine spent most of it greeting every dog that came bounding over; they must have sensed a fellow canine. It was a weird fact he still struggled to believe, no matter how many years had passed by. Sometimes he forgot what he was until the night of a full moon -- and then he was very quickly and painfully reminded. At least now there was somebody who understood his situation. "D'ya know wha' disappointed me the most about bein' a werewolf, Johnny?" There was a pause as the Welshman released a light huff, his eyes tracking the many dogs running across the green. "I honestly thought I'd be able to communicate with dogs, but oh no -- nothing good like tha' ever happens to me! It's so unfair, y'know." Life would be ten times better, he reckoned. But his complaint was soon left behind as he spotted a coffee shack, attention diverted in favour of making a decision. "Ooh, 'm gettin' a coffee. Would you like one? Ohmygod, did I ever tell you about--"

It was often the way with Reynardine. He could cover a variety of topics in a span of ten minutes, thoughts bouncing off each other without taking a rest. He needed to get them out immediately. But thankfully, Johnny was a great listener. As they collected their coffee, they continued walking throughout the park until they stopped at a bench. It was a lovely day, but any time spent with the Hellhound always was for Reynardine. He never would have imagined that their first meeting - as bloody as it was - would eventually lead to here. But he was glad; the universe decided to be kind towards him for once. After a moment, they slipped into comfortable silence as they watched people walking by. With a couple sips of his coffee, he took a few seconds to register the gentle touch of Johnny's fingers against his own from where they were rested on the bench, moving expertly until they were interlocked. With a content smile - ignoring the way his chest fluttered -, the werewolf reciprocated the gesture by affectionately squeezing his hand and leaning into him. This was nice. He was quite happy staying here for a while.
