New Horizons Pluto flyby from Bjorn Jonsson on Vimeo.

An animation showing the New Horizons Pluto flyby on July 14, 2015. The time covered is 09:35 to 13:35 (closest approach occurred near 11:50). Pluto's atmosphere is included and should be fairly realistic from about 10 seconds into the animation and to the end. Earlier it is largely just guesswork that can be improved in the future once all data has been downlinked from the spacecraft. Light from Pluto's satellite Charon illuminates Pluto's night side but is exaggerated here, in reality it would be only barely visible or not visible at all. The field of view is 12.5 degrees.

A documentary travelogue on a visit to the Orkney Islands in the far north of Scotland in April 2015.

You hear about the story and motivation behind of a group of musicians who gather on a weekly basis in 'The Reel' - a venue in the centre of Kirkwall to play tunes and socialise with other visiting musicians.

This documentary is a film not just the capturing the Landscape of Orkney but it's people and how I see it's culture.

Fly Geyser is located by the Black Rock Dessert in Northern Nevada where the famous Burning Man festival is held every year. It's a place of pure magic and bliss. Fly Geyser is not an entirely natural phenomenon; it was accidentally created by well drilling in 1964 exploring for sources of geothermal energy. The well may not have been capped correctly, or left unplugged, but either way dissolved minerals started rising and accumulating, creating the travertine mound on which the geyser sits and continues growing. Water is constantly released, reaching 5 feet (1.5 m) in the air. The geyser contains several terraces discharging water into 30 to 40 pools over an area of 30 hectares (74 acres). The geyser is made up of a series of different minerals, but its brilliant colors are due to thermophilic algae.

Shot on the Canon 5d3 with 24-70L + 70-200L II Aerial shots were accomplished with the DJI Phantom 2 with H3-3D gimbal and a GoPro Hero 3

A fifth season of the Showcase original series, Lost Girl has been greenlit for 13 episodes. The series starring Anna Silk begins production on season five this spring and is set to air Fall 2014. Throughout the fourth season Bo was plagued by memory loss that left her with more questions...
