i feel like i'm losing my fucking mind seeing people arguing with posts like yours abt how transmascs aren't being targeted DIRECTLY when the Federal Trade Commission of the United States held an anti-trans committee where they discussed testosterone HRT and how they should ban it under FGM laws+ directly target medical societies that support it

I just realised that the whole tumblr × AO3 thing means that there is a plot line of the social media mythology saga, and got inspired a bit

(context, i am talking about this legendary post )

The traveling storyteller, Tumblr, had stubled upon a great library, devoid of any scholarly papers, but full of stories, just like those that Tumblr himself learned and made up in his long travels since the days even before he was cursed by his patron godess, before the proud and beloved Twitter, now renamed and branded X, an entertainer of those filled with greed and hatered, abandoned him. And the keeper of the library was just like Tumblr himself.

An archivist, putting all stories, terrible like nightmares and beautifull like dreams, short like blades of grass and long like rivers flowing across continents, tales of love, and hate, and frienships and indiference alike onto the library's shelves, never judging which ones people red and wrote.

Tumblr was enamoured soon, continuing to tell new stories, hoping they'd end up in the library's archives too. And so was the archivist, happy to accept the stories of the fabled, even if somewhat infamous, wordsmith. Both yearning from the distance, taking smallest steps towards eachother, hopefull for something more than what they have now, something closer.

And so they did, in a secrecy, although they couldn't fool anyone, especialy since they weren't even trying realy hard. Soon, they were companions and lovers to eachother, Tumblr bringing stories to the library, for Aothree, the archivist, to keep safe, and Aothree lovingly welcome his lover to the place of rest and offer a few works of other storytellers, that Tumblr could read while he rests his weary limbs and mind.

However, Aothree was so prone to sicknesses and hexes, he often fell ill, and would need aid to recover, and when he was bedridden, he couldn't tend to his library, even though he realy wanted to.

Usualy, after recovering, Aothree himself would announce the library's opening again, but not this time. It was Tumblr, who was the first to tell of Aothree's recovery, too overjoyed with his lover's returning health to bother waiting, besides the library's patrons were all so eagar to reed, and he understhood them. Very soon, the public realised, Tumblr knew first of Aothree's recovery, because he was the one by the archivist's bed, tending and praying to whichever gods would listen.

The secret being such no more, Tumblr realised, that he can now do what he wished for for a while now, and he proposed to Aothree, that they be wed. Aothree didn't hesitate, but did warn his lover, that he shall not leave his library behind, and Tumblr agreed that to be a reasonable want.

And so they wed, lovers and weavers of tales.

I usualy default to going like blendering the ever loving hell out of the pronouns i know how to use properly, like "Oh yeah, B, they're my friend, i met it like half a year ago at a grocery store when he reached out for the same last fresh-baked baguette. We decided to split the cost and half it after we buy it, and while going to the check-out found out she and i match energy real nice, and now xe's my cat's god-parent." type mixmatch. (Story is fake btw, i did not gain any friends by co-purchasing and halving the last baguette at a grocery store. Yet.)

But i completly understand the logic behind using all the rarer pronouns of the person, and i do incorporate that into my speech system, so that people feel more seen

If you're in LGBT friendly spaces and someone introduces themselves and cautiously says they're fine with any pronouns, it is your duty to notice which pronouns the people around you tend to default to for them and ensure that you refer to them with any and every pronoun under the sun except for that one. You must.

Like on the one hand, Zoey is loaded now and can totally buy this stuff on her own, but Mira and Rumi love the way she lights up when she gets gifts so they give her the sugar baby treatment every once in a while

I like to believe that it's halfsies both

Jinu innitialy had to wrangle, bribe, thraten, lie, beg and reverse-psychology to get Baby to go along with the whole baby-act

But then.. It dawned on Baby: He can just do jack shit 80% of time, put up some easy (for a demon) moves, and a cute smile for the fans for 18% of time, and get to absolutely slay it on the scene and belt the absolute bars for those rap lines he gets in "Your Idol" for the remaining 2%. And he decided he's down for it, just due to the convenience (and the ability to do the Goo-goo ga-ga bit on live tv)

I can't decide if it's funnier if Baby was forced to play into the archetype by the other guys or if he did that By His Own Free Will. Him being forced too is objectively really funny because I imagine him mentally wanting to strangle Jinu the whole time. Him doing it because he WANTS TO is even funnier because one, it ironically kind subverts his archetype if he has agency in doing this, and two, this Grown Ass Probably Several Hundred Year Old Man decided to say Googoo Gaga On Live Television Where Millions Of People Will View It And It Will Probably Go On Youtube.
