Dear Red,
I’m doing well thank you. I’ve been trying to keep busy. Praciticing for quidditch, hanging out with friends. Oh, and I just went up a belt in taekwondo (it’s a muggle thing) so I’m now officially a red belt....but it’s not enough. I don’t want to be sparring or fighting dummies I want to be fighting death eaters and making a difference. But the order says we need to strategise... we need action!
Sorry, I hope you’re doing well too. I know it’s a hard time, and I don’t think that makes you selfish. We all want our family and loved ones to be safe.
I might be able to help you with your homework. I did alright in transfiguration, if you have any questions I’m always here and always happy to help.

i hope this letter will find you in good health. how are you doing?
i’m tried of being at home, to be honest. i’m trying to get out as much
as i can, but there is little to do and there is only so much of my whining my
friends can - or want - take. i’m trying to stay positive, but… you saw papers.
having black out of azkaban was dangerous, but now? the breakout? it’s rather
terrifying. don’t be fooled by my softness, yello - i’m selfish person and all i want
is having my family safe. and i’m scared i’m not strong enough to help to keep
them safe.
on the other note, i hate my transfiguration homework. for some reason i can’t
make it just right and it’s annoying me so much.

shelley henning : female : she/her : student : if walls could talk by 5 seconds of summer ϟ did you see Danielle “Dani” Smythe? you know , 24 year old muggle - born who is in gryffindor . some say she can be quite protective but are known to be stubborn . they have publicly declared they are with the order . maybe that’s why they remind me of windswept hair from quidditch, bloody knuckles and matching lip, smoke haze .

Bio
Dani (she’ll punch anyone who calls her Danielle) Smythe was born in Galway to two Irish muggles. Her father is a construction worker and her mother a chef.
As an only child her parents when not working were controlling, and her mother often tried pushing her into what she wanted her to be.
While in middle school she was expelled for punching a girl and starting a fight, later on when asked about it, she said it was because she insulted her friend.
Dani tried hiding her magic at first because she thought she was going crazy but one day there was an incident in public where she was trying to control her anger and accidentally shattered the windows of the shop. She knew then she couldn’t hide it anymore.
Starting at Hogwarts she was sorted into gryffindor and loved the new world she was exposed to. She even joined the quidditch team as a chaser straight away and loved playing.
She still had a temper and can be quite stubborn. Often getting in fights, she also smokes and has a rough rep, but if she likes you she’ll turn into a big teddy bear.
