Choosing a face for my brand: The Logo Saga 101
To start to reflective journey, I thought I might discuss how I came to choose a logo. The logo is a representation of who I am in a condensed visually aesthetic format. I knew it needed to communicate who I am, whilst being engaging and capturing the curiosity.
Having a background in art and design I have a keen belief that my art should not be spoon fed, I believe my art should challenge the imagination, bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses (for all my fellow potterheads out there, you get my flow). I wanted my logo to be an extension of this, while also promoting my work as a total art form.
The logos presented above all follow a similar layout. The basic foundation for this layout was my initials; ‘F’ and ‘G’. I knew the logo had to be minimalist as I believe that less is the new more.
