Sorry to say this but, this week there will not be a chapter 3 of Just a Black Coffee :( I’m kind of in a writers block so it’ll take a little while before I can finish it. I’ll try and get it out as soon as possible.

Haikyuu Boys With A S/O That Can’t Sleep
Characters ↣ Hinata, Bokuto, Atsumu, Sakusa, Lev, Goshiki, Aone, Yamaguchi, Aran
Genre ↣ Fluff <3
A/N ↣ Pretty sure it’s gn!reader :)
Hinata would take you to the balcony of your house and gaze at the stars with you. If you were into astrology, Hinata would listen to you talk about the different signs and how the planets moved into the zodiacs’ constellations. Soothing moments of silence would be shared between the two of you while you traced sweet words into his chest. The moment Hinata heard your soft snores, he picked you up, and started to head back to the bed you both shared.
Bokuto would give you a massage on any part of the body that you desired. Using your favorite scented lotion, he would start to rub it into your skin, trying to find the different spots that had tension. Bokuto also had the idea of putting on the matching robes that he bought. Once he was done with the massage, he would ask you if he could try the face mask you put on weekly. When you accidentally fell asleep with the mask still on he would carefully remove it and rub the moisture into your skin.
Atsumu would take you on a late-night drive and play calming music for you to fall asleep. You would lay in a comfortable position on the passenger side while he found a place with a distinct view. When Atsumu sees the slow fluttering of your eyes, he would pull you into his lap and cover you with the blankets he had in the back. If you still couldn’t sleep then, he would tell you to look in the glove compartment of the car since he had snacks for you to binge on while looking at the view.
Sakusa would run a nice, relaxing, and warm bath for you. As he was scrolling through the internet one day, he saw an article talking about how taking a bath 90 minutes before bedtime can help you sleep better. Sakusa never had trouble sleeping, so he pushed the thought aside. But with the lack of sleep you were getting, he thought it was an excellent time to use the idea. Once you were finished, he would offer to pat you dry, and put your clothes on for you. In bed, he gently shut your eyes closed with his hands and pulled you closer to let sleep consume you.

Will You Remember Me
Genre ⇾ angst, songfic
Song ⇾ Remember Me by UMI
Pairing ⇾ Akaashi Keiji x GN!Reader
It was two in the morning and you couldn’t sleep. Your brain couldn’t stop replaying the events that happened the day before. All the emotions came rushing in. The way you both shouted in anger. The way you balled your hands into fists so hard that it left marks. Both of you saying words you didn’t mean just to hurt each other. The way he used your name in a way you thought you would never hear. You don't know how or why this fight started, but it did. You wished that you could take everything back, but the damage was already done. As soon as you heard the words ‘Let’s break up’ you felt the whole world caving in on you.
I can't go back now
Nothing's the same
Your heart clenches at the thought of you never being able to see Akaashi again. Now that he’s gone your room feels so empty. You think back to whenever you two would sit by the bay window and enjoy each other’s presence. You loved the way you could hear his heartbeat and the way you’d feel yourself slightly raise as he’d breathe. It was something so precious to you. It was moments like those where you two felt truly connected. It was such an intimate moment between the both of you. Now you wondered how long it would take for you to forget. Forget the way he’d call you his sweet girl, forget how secure you felt in his arms, the way that he’d look at you like you were the only person left in the world. A tear slips out of your eye recalling all the memories that you’ll never experience again.
Will you remember me?
Will you remember the way that you felt when you're next to me?
You wonder if he’s up thinking about you like you are him. Is he hurting as much as you are? Is he reminiscent of the time you two spent or has he completely erased you from his mind? You didn’t like this feeling. You wanted to get over this pain. You missed him so much, but there was nothing you could do. The thought of him forgetting everything about you pierced your heart. You turn to your right and imagine him lying there next to you. For a second you swear you saw him there only for him to disappear when you blinked. You reach your hand out to touch the empty space on the bed. You were in an insurmountable amount of pain. You thought that you two were unbreakable. Turns out it wasn’t true. Letting the sleep take over, you finally close your eyes as the last few tears fall.
I never thought that we'd be dreaming on our own

Chapter 2: Moving In
After the meeting with Kuroo, he agreed to you being his new roommate. His demeanor was not what you expected at all. You were afraid that he wouldn’t accept you, but thankfully he did. You were now sitting in the living room with Abby packing the few things you had. Kuroo had told you that the apartment was only halfway furnished. Abby had offered to go furniture shopping with you after checking the place out. You hear a knock on the door and assume that it was Bokuto. You open the door to let him in. “Hey hey hey, we all ready?” he asks excitedly. “You seem more excited to see the place than I am.” He goes over to Abby and gives her a quick peck on the cheek. “Well I have been wanting to come over, but he says the place isn’t ready yet so this is my excuse.” You put in the last few things in your suitcase and zip it up.
“Alright, I’m all set.” “Great let’s head out,” Abby says. All of you make your way to Bo’s car. He picks up your suitcase and puts it in the trunk. You get in the back seat and Abby hands you Bo’s phone to put in the address. “So how was the meeting?” Bo asks once he steps into the car. “It was...interesting,” you say hesitantly. “Interesting how?” Abby questions. “Oh, you’ll see.” She looks at you through the front view mirror with curiosity. The rest of the car ride you listened to music while the couple in front had their little conversation.
After a twenty-minute drive, you arrived at the address. You grab your suitcase out of the trunk and make your way into the building. You all head into the elevator and head up to the fifth floor. When you reached the floor, you walked over to the correct door and pulled out the keys Kuroo gave you. Unlocking the door you were unexpectedly met with a half-naked Kuroo and a towel barely hanging on. You stood there mouth agape. “I didn’t know my roomy was a perv,” he says in a teasing manner. “Didn’t know my roommate couldn’t afford clothes,” you snap back. “Whoa, what’s with all this tension,” Bokuto jokes. Abby slaps Bo on his arm and he pouts. Kuroo walks to his room to get dressed while the rest of you walk in.
“Now I see what you mean by interesting,” Abby comments. After regaining your composure, you decide to go look at your room to see how much space there was. It was a decently sized room. You noticed that there was a futon placed in the center of the room. “I placed it there so you could have something to sleep on until you get the furniture you need.” You jumped hearing a voice behind you. “Oh, thanks.” You walk back out to the kitchen to meet with the others. “Kuroo, this is Abby, my girlfriend, and y/n’s friend.” Abby walks up to introduce herself. “Hey I’m Abby and if you’re a bitch to y/n your dead to me,” she says with a grin. He chuckles at her intimidating warning. “I will keep that in mind.”
“So when are you gonna get this place some furniture?” Bokuto asks. “I don’t know, I’ve been putting it off because I don’t know what to get.” You made eye contact with Abby and could see the mischievous look in her eye. “Why don’t you go with y/n? She was going to go look for some things today.” You look at her in disbelief, how dare she abandon you like that. “Wait babe I thou--” she elbows Bo making him go quiet. “That way you two can get to know each other better and get things you need for the apartment.” You sand there, silently shaking your head at your best friend. “Doesn’t sound bad, right?” Kuroo says as he turns to you. You look at him, eyes slightly wide, “Yeah...sure.”
_______________________________________________
You arrived at Ikea, looking at different things for your room. Both of you decided on splitting the costs for the furniture in the living room. While Kuroo went to pick out the living room furniture, you looked for different bed frames and mattresses. Because you didn’t want to spend all your money, you opted for the cheapest options. You then went to look at the desks and other necessities for your room. Once you finished getting everything you needed, you texted Kuroo to see where he was to meet up.
Kuroo Tetsurō: “I’m in the couch section still trying to pick one out.”
You quickly make your way to the couches to help out Kuroo. “Dang, quite a lot of stuff you got,” he says as you walk up to him. “Obviously,” you roll your eyes. “Which ones did you have in mind?” you ask. After some careful consideration, you opted for the L-shaped couch and moved along. “Last thing we need is a coffee table and then we’re good to go.” You nod as you move your way to the tables. At the corner of your eye, a familiar figure, making you quickly turn around.
“Uhh why don’t we look around for other things first?” you ask. “But we’re already here. We can look around after we pick a table,” he says walking past. You mentally sigh. You hoped your ex wouldn’t notice you. Even though a few weeks had already passed, you were still trying to heal. You walk up to Kuroo, trying to hide while helping him to choose a table. “What about this one?” You look at it for a second and quickly nod your head yes. “Great we have everything, let’s--” you were cut off by someone calling out Kuroo’s name.
“Hey, Kuroo!” a familiar voice said. “Damn it is you. I haven’t seen you since high school.” ‘They know each other?’ you thought. You tried to hide behind Kuroo so that Daisho wouldn’t see you, but once he got closer he immediately took notice of your presence. “Oh...hey y/n…” You don’t lift your head from the ground, afraid to see his face. “Yea, hi.” Kuroo was confused about how you two know each other but doesn’t say anything. “Uhm...how ya been?” he asks you, forgetting about Kuroo. You take a deep breath and lift your head to meet his gaze. “I’ve been fine,” you say with a straight face. He nods and turns back to Kuroo. “How bout you, how have you been?” “Yea I’ve been good, uh how do you two know each other?” Kuroo asks curiously. “We were friends,” you say nonchalantly. Daisho was caught off guard by your response. “Just friends huh?” he smirks. “Well, then you shouldn’t have gotten all mad when I cheated on you then.” You were appalled by what he said. You watched as he turned his back and walked away. “Nice runnin’ into ya both.” he waves without looking back. A mix of anger and disgust could be seen on your face. You didn’t realize your hands were in fists before Kuroo tapped your shoulder. “You good?” he asks in a concerned tone. You look him in the eyes and say, “Yea I’m fine,” before turning around and walking away to the checkout area.
After you both finished paying for everything, you loaded everything into the trunk of the truck that Kuroo had rented. The both of you were silent during the entire ride. You were visibly upset, but Kuroo didn’t know what to say. He too was surprised by Daisho’s appearance. “He was always full of himself during high school. Acting as if he could ever beat me and my amazing volleyball team,” he brags. A light chuckle escapes your lips hearing his attempt to cheer you up. “You sure you aren’t full of yourself?” He shakes his head while grinning. “I guess I have a habit of attracting guys with cocky attitudes,” you say as you fiddle with your fingers. “How dare you lump me in with him,” he jokes. You both start laughing. “All seriousness though, good call on dropping him.” You look at him and just nod in agreement. The rest of the ride home was spent in comfortable silence.
_______________________________________________
When you arrived back at the apartment, you text Abby telling her to get Bo to help bring the furniture up. They decided to stay at the apartment and make lunch, while you and Kuroo went shopping. “Damn you guys bought a lot,” Bo says as Kuroo opens the truck. All of you made multiple trips bringing things up to the apartment. Once that was done, you all sat in the kitchen to eat lunch.
“Bo, guess you won’t believe who I ran into,” Kuroo starts. He looks up from his food, “Who?” Before he responds, he looks over to you, as if he was asking for your permission to speak. You give him a reassuring smile, signaling that it would be fine. “I ran into Daisho, from Nohebi.” Abby’s eyes go wide after hearing that. “Omg, what!” she exclaims. “What’d he say to you? I swear if he said some dumb shit--” “We just said hi,” you cut her off. “We wished him well and continued with our day.” You didn’t want to tell Abby what he said because you know she’d be livid. She would have called him and gone off on him if she knew what happened. ‘Ugh, that man, no boy, just pisses me off,” she pauses, “A man wouldn’t act like such a bitch.” You sigh, “Couldn’t agree more.”
After you all finish lunch, you and Abby go to set up the furniture in your room while the guys set up the living room. “Are you sure nothing else happened when you met Daisho?” she inquires. “Because the way you looked after, told me otherwise.” “I was just shocked to see him. It’s only been two weeks and I guess I’m still hurting.” However, you were hurting even more now since the whole run-in at Ikea. That whole situation made you think. How did you never notice how much of a douche he was? Were you so blinded by infatuation that you chose to ignore it? Or did you believe that you would be the one to ‘change’ him? Could you even call what you had with him a relationship? So many thoughts ran through your head. “Y/n!” Abby screams. “Can you hand me the instructions so we can build your bed?” You look at her and then grab the piece of paper and hand it to her. “You’re gonna have to stop daydreaming for a while so we can get your room set up before we become eighty,” she jokes. You shake the thoughts from your mind and focus on the task at hand. If you were gonna overthink, might as well do it in a comfortable space.
It was now 5 pm, Abby and Bokuto had left after you all finished setting up the furniture. You were all extremely exhausted. At least now you have a bed to sleep on. You were gathering all the boxes in your room to go and throw them out. “Hey, are there any boxes you want me to throw out?” you ask Kuroo who’s sprawled out on the new couch. “Yea they’re over there by the doorway,” he replies. You pick them up and attempt to open the door. As Kuroo sits up he sees you struggling to try to carry all the boxes. “If you need my help you could just ask sweetheart,” he smirks to himself. “Haha, I’m perfectly capable of throwing out a couple of boxes,” you say trying to push the door open. He decided to play with you a little more. “Oh, well then if you don’t mind, could you throw out these other boxes from my room?” You turn your head and glare at him. “Why not take care of your own shit?” you question. “Well, just a minute ago you asked if I had boxes to throw out so…” You scowl at him. “You can be annoying at times,” you say as you walk out, hands full of cardboard. “You’ll learn to love me,” he calls out.
When you return to the apartment you see Kuroo standing by the kitchen counter with a bunch of takeout menus spread around. “What are you doing?” you ask. “Trying to figure out what dinner should be.” You stand next to him and stare at the options. “Rock paper scissors to see who pays?” He looks at you and smirks, “Heh, oh you’re for sure paying.” You raise your eyebrows, “What’s got you so confident?” He shrugs, “Just cuz.” You roll your eyes. “Rock, paper scissors, shoot!” You threw up paper while he threw up scissors. You groan at your defeat. “Hah, better luck next time.” He grabs the pizza menu and calls the number to order. “I’m going to go broke.” Twenty minutes passed and you heard the doorbell ring. You got up from your desk and went to open the door. “Delivery for Kur-” The delivery guy looks up at you and stares in awe. “Uh- uhm..delivery for Kuroo?” “Yep, here you go,” you say, handing him the money. He puts the pizza in one hand and takes the money with the other. “This pizza’s a great choice,” he says. He hands you the pizza and you thank him with a smile. “Geez what took so long?” Kuroo asks. You set the pizza on the counter and went to grab the paper plates in the cupboard. As Kuroo went to open the pizza box, he noticed that the receipt had a number on it.
“Hey what’s this?” he asks, holding up the receipt. You turned around and took the piece of paper from his hand to see what he was talking about. As you saw the number a little smile grew on your face and you let out a small chuckle. “No wonder he was so talkative.” You put the receipt in your pocket and bring the plates to the island. “Are you actually going to text him?” You smirk and shrug at his question. “Maybe, who knows. I might text him if I want some fun.” You tease grabbing a slice of pizza and leaving him there in the kitchen. Your response irked him for some reason. The thought of you texting that guy made him irritated, but he didn’t understand why. He brushed it off and sat in the living room to eat and turned on the T.V.
_______________________________________________
“Omg what!” your best friend screams through the phone. You decided to call Abby to tell her about what just happened with the pizza guy.
“Jeez, you don’t have to yell,” you laugh.
“So are you going to text him? Hold on, was he even cute?”
“I am not texting him,” you reply, “and yea I guess.”
You hear her gasp. “Why not?” You furrow your brows. “Gee I don’t know, maybe because I just got out of a horrible relationship and I don’t want to jump into another one?”
“Ok, but no one said you couldn’t have a friend with benefits” You shake your head at her comment. “Yea how about no.”
“Ooo what did Kuroo think?” You tilt your head to the side, “What do you mean?”
“Like did he seem bothered when he saw the number?” “Why would he be bothered if some random pizza guy gave me his number?”
You can hear her holding back a chuckle. “J-E-A-L-O-U-S-Y,” she spells out.
“Why would he be jealous? We’ve known each other for about a week and even then we barely talked to each other ‘till now.”
“Maybe he developed feelings when you first met and doesn’t want to admit them yet,” she teases.
“Yea, I’m sure that totally happened.”
“Okay well, I gotta go. Tell me how your budding romance with Kuroo goes.”
As you hang up the call you lean back in your chair and rub your eyes. You ponder on the thought of you and Kuroo being in a relationship. ‘Yea right, we just got to know each other.’ you thought. You couldn’t see yourself being with him. Yes, he was attractive, but his mischievous personality and cocky attitude were not something you admired. You shake the thought away, not wanting to get too deep into it. You grab your empty plate to throw it away and went to go brush your teeth. As you enter the main room, you see Kuroo passed out on the couch. ‘Damn he must’ve been really tired to pass out at 9.’ You move to the coffee table to pick up his plate to throw it away. You go back to wake Kuroo and to tell him to sleep in his room.
“Psst, Kuroo. Heyy wake up.”
You nudge his arm to try and shake him awake. ‘He’s a deep sleeper’ “Kuroo, c’mon go sleep in your room.” Just as you were about to give up, you feel his hand wrap around your wrist and he tugs you toward him. You hear him mumble something. You lean in a little closer to hear what it was. In doing so, you accidentally slip, causing you to fall and jolting him awake.
“Trying to take advantage of me hun? He snickers. You got back up and sneered at him. “No, I was trying to wake you up so you could go to your room.”
“Aww, no need to be embarrassed about it. If you wanted to be with me shoulda just said so,” he teases.
You tilt your head to the side and cross your arms. “You are unbelievable.” You turn away and make your way to the bathroom to do your night routine. You could already feel the stress build up in you with his constant provocation.
As you get out of the bathroom, Kuroo walks up to you. “Can I see the receipt real quick?” he asks. “Why?” He shrugs, “Just wanna see how much the pizza was.” You were skeptical, but you pulled the paper out of your pocket. Without a second’s warning, he yanks the receipt from your hand and goes to the kitchen.
“Okay didn’t know you were so eager to see the price,” you gawk. You follow him to see what he was going to do with it. He dashes into his room and slams the door shut.“What the- I thought you were just gonna look at it?” “I’m too tired to look at right now. Night roomie!” You stand outside his door, baffled by his actions. ‘Weird’
Living with him was definitely not going to be boring.

Dates Haikyuu Boys Would Take You On
Characters ↣ Kuroo, Kenma, Kageyama, Tendo, Kita, Iwaizumi, Semi, Sakusa, Akaashi
Genre ↣ Fluff
A/N ↣ No specific pronouns or gender involved :), I always do Iwaizumi and Sakusa but it’s okay because I love them so much <3
Kuroo would plan a romantic dinner date for the both of you. Rose petals would lead to your dining table, candles would be lit, and the prettiest utensils you’ve ever seen would be set on top of the table cloth. However, Kuroo was always known for being a little mischievous, so when he brought out a cardboard box with pizza in it you just laughed at his unexpectedness. He smiled at your reaction and opened the box to place the biggest slice on your plate.
Kenma would have a movie night with you as a date. If you two watched a scary movie and a gory scene came up he would shield your eyes, and kiss the top of your head to reassure you. If you jumped from a scene he would pull you tighter, and whisper affirmations into your ears. “It’s okay. I’m here. There’s nothing to be scared of.” He wouldn’t mind what was on the screen, just as long as you enjoy it.
Kageyama would try to plan a cutesy date for both of you. Naturally, you were the one who planned these things, but he wanted to give a go at it. The ramen you both ate was delicious, the sun was starting to set, and everything was perfect. When you got to the beach to light lanterns, everything started going downhill. Rain was pouring down, and your visions began to blur. Kageyama was visibly upset. The one time he tried to plan something special, it went wrong. He thought you would get mad until he heard your laughter. You reassured him that everything was perfect, and it was the thought that counted.
Tendo would make you a tourist in the city for a day. Going to places you’ve never been, trying different ethnic cuisines, and taking pictures at unique monuments would just be one of the many things both of you would do. Tendo thought it was a good idea to get matching tacky tourist keychains, too. Instead of driving around, walking would be the primary type of transportation. During the night-time, both of you would get dessert and go back to the hotel Tendo booked to give the date a more realistic feel.
Kita would take you to the farmer’s market for a date. Going around hand in hand and looking for ingredients that you can use later on. If Kita saw something that looked tasty he would pick up a sample and feed it to you. When you two arrive home, you would invent a recipe with him using the stuff you bought. This date can be done many times a month, as it can also be a way to shop for groceries.
Iwaizumi would take you on very engaging dates. Some of the dates can be go-kart racing, interactive museums, street fairs, and amusement parks. It didn’t matter what time it was. Just one simple text from him made you aware that he was going to take you on a date. He would even take you to the ferris wheel to make you kiss him at the very top. Iwaizumi knew it was cheesy, but he still believed in the legend of being together forever.
Semi would take you to a drive-in movie theater. Before heading there, both of you would go to your favorite restaurant and pick up some food. Once the movie starts, you two went to the trunk that was filled with blankets and pillows. Semi would make you cuddle against him not leaving any space between the two of you. If you fall asleep during the movie, he would just smile and admire your sleeping face.
Sakusa would plan a picnic in the backyard. Even though the picnic was a few steps from your house, the both of you dressed nicely for the event. When sundown came, he set the table in the backyard by bringing out the food, plates, and drinks. To make things more interesting Sakusa would start conversations that range from deep discussions about life to small talk about how your week was. While talking together, a thought came to his head of how dates like these should be frequent just so he had time to focus only on you.
Akaashi would take you to the botanical garden for a date. Even though there wasn’t much to do, just walking around and talking to you made his day. Akaashi will make the date as refreshing as possible to take your mind off of things you are stressed about. While you were walking around admiring the scenery, Akaashi was taking candid shots of you. He wasn’t trying to be creepy or weird. He was just captivated by your beauty.

kissing the back of his hand
⤷ iwaizumi, suna, bokuto, tendou, kageyama ; [gn!reader]
TAGS: just fluff :]
NOTES: reblogs are super helpful, so if you enjoyed it pls reblog or I’ll cry <3
━━ IWAIZUMI ; he gives you a quizzical look, but the ghost of a smile is spread across his face. you can see him move to hide his face into his shoulder, adoration in his eyes as he looks at you. and he hums whenever you let go of his hand. then you’re being pulled into his chest, him leaving a kiss on your shoulder. you could have sworn you heard him mumble “I love you.”
━━ SUNA ; “enjoying yourself, baby?” he asks, teasing look in his eyes and a matching tone lacing his words. but he’s smiling and trying to hide the blush on his face. he huffs dramatically whenever you put his hand down, but he grabs your hand in return and presses his lips to your knuckles, then looks up to you and gives a playful smile.
━━ BOKUTO ; it kind of takes him by surprise, holding his breath and eyes going wide for a moment. it was like you could see his heart beating out of his chest. his face softens and then he smiles, looking at you like you were the only thing in the world — and he knew you weren’t, but to him you’re the only thing in the world that matters.
━━ TENDOU ; he smiles, something like a laugh leaving him. his head tilts to the side and he raises one eyebrow, but his eyes look amused rather than confused. he moves his hand so his thumb can iver your check, then move to hold your face. “I love you, pretty baby,” his tone is teasing and playful, but there’s also a level of sincerity to it that makes your heart flutter.
━━ KAGEYAMA ; it takes him by surprise. he knows that he’s easy to fluster, you know that too, but he looks like his heart just stopped in his chest. or maybe it was beating out of his chest, he couldn’t really tell. he gives you a weak smile, and you think that’s all you’ll get from him. but the second your lips leave his hand, he’s pulling you close to him, hiding his face in the crook of your neck.

Wholesome Things Haikyuu Boys Would Do For You
Characters ↣ Bokuto, Iwaizumi, Sakusa, Atsumu, Oikawa, Ushijima, Suna, Sugawara
Genre ↣ Fluff
A/N ↣ No specific pronouns or gender involved :) Requests are open!
Bokuto would buy you items that relate to the hobbies you take up. If you had a sport as a hobby, he would purchase equipment or merch for the sport. If drawing or painting was a hobby of yours, he would get more supplies for you. It didn’t matter if you had the equipment already. He would just dismiss it and say, “The more, the merrier.”
Iwaizumi would order food for you if you had social anxiety. When ordering, Iwaizumi would talk to you about your pick before the waiter came to take it down. If you finally feel as though you are ready to ask on your own, he will stand next to you patiently, holding your hand and silently cheering you on in his heart.
Sakusa would do your laundry for you using his own detergent, so it would smell like him. Volleyball made it hard for Sakusa to see you often, and it pained him not being able to be with you. You couldn’t see him either due to work. The day Sakusa was free, he did your laundry and realized it would be better to do it with his detergent instead of your regular one. It was like a piece of him was there with you, just not physically.
Atsumu would put your jacket on and take it off for you. It doesn’t matter who you’re with, where you are, or when it is. If you’re going out to dinner he will take it off for you. If you’re leaving to head to the market he will walk you to the door and put it on for you. On some days, he would even ask, “Zip or no Zip?” trying to be considerate of how it would look with your outfit.
Oikawa takes down notes on places he sees. An immediate thought comes to his head. “Oh, Y/N would love this place”, or “This place is so beautiful, I should take Y/N here”. He would plan everything out and turn it into a surprise as a date. If the place was a beautiful park, picnics would be held there every Sunday as a way to “start the week.”
Ushijima would attempt to make personal gifts for your anniversary since he thinks it’s more meaningful. On the week of your anniversary, he would try to devise some gifts you might like. When the relationship marked your first year, Ushijima gifted you a book filled with souvenirs, pictures, and little paragraphs on memories you both shared throughout your relationship. If the anniversary seemed more near than expected he would plan a unique date and try to make it as personalized as possible.
Suna would call you on some days of the week, checking up on you, seeing if you ate, or if you drank water. He would do this in the most random hours of the day. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the shower, or if you’re studying, or watching TV. Of course, he’ll know his boundary, but he does it out of love for you. After a while, you wonder why he does these things. Where he calls you for a few minutes out of your day, and then hangs up not a few minutes later. You asked him why he did this, and he replied that he’d miss your voice throughout the day and that he just wants to see how you’re doing.
Sugawara would leave random notes for you throughout the house and in the most unexpected places. Most of them aren’t continuous compliments, sometimes they were random jokes he thought of in his head. On one of your off-days, you attempted a new dinner recipe you found online. Accidentally getting distracted on your phone and taking your eyes off the stove, the food burnt. When you went to get more ingredients in the fridge, a sticky note was attached to one of the necessities. It read, “You’re so beautiful. I still can’t believe we’re together.” Taking a deep breath in, you smiled and reminded yourself that everything was going to be okay.

Midnight Blues
Pairing ↣ Miya Osamu x Reader
Genre ↣ Fluff
A/N ↣ Inspired by Midnight Blues - Umi, No specific gender/pronouns involved!
Silence filled the house. Others in your home snuggled asleep. The tender air breezed softly through your bedroom window. Summer was beginning to end, but it felt as though it just started.
The only person who wasn’t asleep was you. Every day you were up between midnight and morning, waiting for a text from the specific person that often occupied your thoughts. Staring at the dark ceiling, you reassured yourself that he would text you.
Text me. Please text me. I want to be with you. Those constant words ran through your head. You didn’t like this feeling—the continuous feeling of needing someone to comfort you. Accepting that it would be just another one of those sleepless nights you endured daily, you patiently waited for his text.
The light blaring from your cell phone signaled a text. The message was short and straight to the point: Outside in 5, get ready. Your expression changed from dull to bright. Swiftly putting on a sweatshirt, pants, and shoes, you prepared to greet him outside. Another text appeared: Come out, I’m here.
Climbing out the window. You were thankful that you roomed on the first floor. You tried to hide the faint smile that was fighting to creep on your face as you slid into the passengers’ seat of the car. “Hey ‘Samu.” Osamu pulled you into a hug, pecking your lips slightly. The center console of the car blocked more contact than you wished. “Hey Darlin’, I missed ya.”
“You missed me too? I thought I was the only one. I haven’t seen you in a week.” He rubbed the nape of his neck, feeling apologetic. “I’m sorry, love. Suna and ‘tsumu extended the trip last minute.” “It’s okay. All that matters is you’re here now.” Osamu started the car, driving down the street, passing your house.
“Where are we going 'samu?” his calloused hands drifting to your thigh, caressing them slowly. Without taking his eyes off the road, he spoke up, “We’re goin’ to the beach.” Nodding slowly, you felt giddy. Your mind drifted to the things that could happen with the two of you alone.
Arriving at the beach, Osamu went to your side and opened the door for you. At this point, dawn started to approach. In the trunk, blankets, and pillows filled up the back of the seats. Osamu climbed in as you followed closely behind. He laid on the pillows as you pressed against his chest. Both of you talked about your week, telling him things you couldn’t say over the phone. Your hands traced different-sized hearts on his chest, while he stared out in the open. The sun was rising with a warmth that flowed throughout the car. These moments were the ones you loved the most. Spending time with him and making him laugh in the early mornings were things you wished to continue. Instead, you wanted to do it in a bedroom both of you will someday share.

Ch. 1: New Encounters
It was two in the morning, you and your boyfriend were in a heated argument. You had just caught him cheating on you, but he was trying to deny it. “Why won’t you just fucking admit it!” Your throat was hurting from screaming so much. “I saw you on the couch with her and you dare to tell me that it was nothing!” Truth be told, you had known for a while now that something was going on, but you were in denial. You didn’t want to believe that your boyfriend of five years would do something like that. Yet here you are right now, confronting him. “Omg, you’re overreacting. I was just--” you cut him off “YOU WHAT? HUH? YOU TRIPPED AND YOUR TONGUE ACCIDENTALLY SLIPPED INTO HER MOUTH?” You didn’t want to start crying, yet your body said otherwise. He stared at you in silence before you stomped off to the bedroom.
“Y/n what are you doing?” “Isn't it obvious? I’m packing my shit and breaking up with you.” You were shoving your things into your suitcase not bothering to fold any of your clothes. He scoffs, “Really? Where are you gonna go then?” “Anywhere without you seems good.” You had no clue where to go, all you knew was that you didn’t want to be near Daisho for another second.
You zipped up your suitcase and pushed past him. He forcefully grabbed your arm causing you to turn around. “You can’t just leave me y/n,” he says almost menacingly. “I think I fucking can when I have a pretty valid reason.” You yanked your arm away from him and walked out of the apartment leaving him alone with the girl. As soon as you were out, you felt a sense of relief, but that soon went away as you realized that those five years you spent together were nothing. And your heart starts to ache even more the further you walk away.
_______________________________________________
You were sat on a park bench, the autumn winds nipping at your nose. You looked at your phone and the time read 2:31 am. ‘I shouldn’t have left while it was this cold’ You go to your contacts and call your best friend Abby. “Y/n?” she says in a raspy voice. “What’s wrong, why are you up right now?” You sigh before telling her everything that happened.
“So, yea I was wondering if I could crash at your place for a bit.” “Bitch of course you can! Fuck Daisho, his bitch-ass doesn’t deserve you.” You chuckle at her string of curses. “I’ll be over soon.” “Okayyy be safe.”
You were thankful for having a friend like Abby. You stood up from the bench and made your way over to her apartment. You needed to start finding a place for yourself soon because you didn’t want to mooch off of your friend for too long. You knew she wouldn’t mind having you stay, but you didn’t want to be too much of a burden because she lived in a pretty small space. You got on the bus that led to her address and looked up some websites for apartment listings to pass the time.
_______________________________________________
By the time you arrived at her place, it was already 3 am. You knocked on her door waiting for her to come and open it. You wait there for a few minutes before the door slowly cracks open. “Hey hun,” she says with her eyes partially open. She invites you in and leads you to the living room to set your things down.
“You can put your suitcase over here and there are some toiletries in the closet if you need them.” “Thanks, Abby, you’re the best.” “Of course, you know I’d do anything for you.” “Yea I know.” “So how ya holdin’ up?” You stared at her in silence for a moment trying to recollect your thoughts. You thought you had cried it all out while you sat in the park earlier, so you were surprised when you felt tears streaming down your face.
You didn’t want to cry over this anymore, but your emotions got the better of you. You held your head in your hands and kept sobbing, unable to stop the emotions from pouring out. Abby came over to your side and hugged you. She didn’t say anything. She just let you cry it out until you were able to compose yourself. Deep down she always had a bad feeling about Daisho ever since the day you announced you two were dating. She just didn’t want to say anything because you were so happy. To her, it felt like she was overstepping her boundaries.
“Ok, I think I’ve cried about this enough for today.” “Well shit, I thought I was gonna have to hear you cry until class started.” You chuckled. “Oh shut up.” “I think it’s time we both go to bed, otherwise we’ll pass out from sleep deprivation in class.” She gets up and brings you some pillows and blankets. She bids you goodnight before going back to her room. You were glad she went back to her room because you didn’t want her to see you crying still. You felt bad that you called her so late so you told her to go to bed. You spent that night crying until you finally fell asleep.
_______________________________________________
You woke up at 7 am, eyes still sore from all the crying you did. You felt so drained, but you had to get up and get ready for your classes. Getting up from the couch, you fold the blankets and place them neatly to the side. You open your suitcase and take out your clothes and some toiletries before heading off to the bathroom.
You saw your reflection in the mirror and were startled at the image before you. Eyes all red and puffy and hair all tangled and sticking up. ‘Yikes,’ you thought. You quickly detangle your hair and wait for the shower to heat up.
When you get out, you quickly dry yourself off and change into a fresh pair of clothes. After getting dressed and drying your hair, you met Abby at the kitchen for breakfast.
“You gonna be okay going to school?” she questions while grabbing two plates, placing one in front of you. You take a seat at the counter and fix yourself some of the food she prepared. “I’m not gonna let this whole break up ruin my studies alright. I just have to hold myself together during the day and break down when I get home,” you say with a strained smile. She rolls her eyes at your remark and takes the seat next to you.
“I swear if I see him I’m gonna--” you interrupt, “You’re going to walk away and not cause any drama.” She looks at you with an unamused face. “I’m serious, I don’t want any drama. I said what I said and I have no reason to talk to him anymore.” She turns back to her food before responding. “Okay fine.” You shake your head as you see the look of disappointment on her face. “I’ll be fine, promise.”
You two finished up your food and grabbed your things for school. Both of you rushed to the train station so you wouldn’t be late for class. You were still in anguish over the events that happened, but you were trying your hardest to ignore those feelings so you could focus on your studies. You were anxious about running into him because you felt like you would start crying again if you did. You didn’t want to have a whole breakdown in school.
You pushed all those thoughts in the back of your head as you reached the front of the school. “I have my club meeting after school so you’re gonna be going home by yourself.” “That’s fine I have my part-time job today.” You bid your goodbyes as the both of you head to your respective classes.
_______________________________________________
You head to the back of the classroom and take a seat. You didn’t feel like socializing with anyone at the moment. Mainly because you didn’t want anyone to notice how red your eyes were. You had tried to cover it up as best as you could but to no avail. You decided to look for more apartment listings as you wait for the professor to come to class. All the ones you found were either too expensive or looked like they would fall apart the second you walked in. Finally, the professor walks in and begins the class.
You barely paid attention during the lecture. You were so tired from basically having zero hours of sleep and stressing out over how you were going to find a place to live. You weren’t that close with anyone in your class so you couldn’t even ask them for help. You had zoned out for the majority of the class. The only thing that you obtained from the lecture was that you had a research paper due in the two weeks that was worth 25% of your grade.
You feel a buzz from your phone and you look down to see what it was.
*Message from Abby*
Abby: “Hey y/n, I just wanted to let you know my boyfriend is coming over later to hang, but don’t worry we won’t make you a third wheel :)”
Y/n: “If I walk in on both you being whores, I’ll kick you out of your apartment--”
Abby: “Whatever”
You turn your phone off and try to pay attention to the last ten minutes of the lecture.
_______________________________________________
School was finally over and you quickly met with Abby to tell her that you might be coming home late because you had to cover for your coworker. “Okay, just remember to be safe, you never know what sketchy ass guy is gonna be around.” “Don’t worry I know how to take care of myself. I didn’t take those self-defense classes for no reason.” She waves goodbye as she heads over to meet with her club.
You walked over to the convenience store where you worked that was only a couple of blocks away from your school. You liked taking the night shifts because it was usually the least busy and it meant you could do some homework. That being said, you also had your fair share of creeps and drunks. You had bought pepper spray just in case anything happens. Though you hoped that you wouldn’t have to use it.
When you arrived, the worker there got up to leave so you could take over. You didn’t have much to do. Your main tasks consisted of restocking shelves, mopping the floors, and managing the register. When it was just you in the store it kind of felt peaceful. Sometimes you’d just observe the people who walk by and other times you’d be lost in thought. However this time, you wanted to be away from your thoughts. You tried to put on some music to drown out your thoughts. For a while, it was working until you saw your ex walking hand in hand with the girl he cheated on you with. You were enraged at the sight. How could he move on so easily, while you were still stuck on it? Were you overreacting? Were you the only one who cared about the relationship? All these negative thoughts started to flood in. You were brought back to reality when you heard the bell from the door ring, signaling that a customer was there. You quickly brush off those thoughts and greet the customer. The last hour and a half went into cleaning the floors and doing a little bit of homework.
By the time you finished your shift, the sun had completely disappeared. Although you were confident in your self-defense skills, you would still be nervous about walking home alone. You made sure that you had your pepper spray with you before locking up. You quickly shoot Abby a text saying that you were done with work and were on your way to the apartment.
_______________________________________________
Upon your arrival home, you were greeted by a very loud and energetic guy, who you assumed to be Abby’s boyfriend. You were caught off guard by his liveliness, especially since it was pretty late. “Y/n, this is Bokuto, my boyfriend.” “Bo, this my friend that I was talking to you about.” You exchanged hellos before you went to the bathroom to freshen up.
“Y/n I just solved all your problems,” your best friend announces to you as you exit the bathroom. “Uh how exactly?” you question with one eyebrow raised. “Bo, tell her” she nudges her boyfriend. You sat down next to them on the couch waiting for his response. “So, Abby told me how you’re looking for a place and I happen to know someone who’s looking for a roommate to share the rent.” Your eyes lit up immediately. “Omg really?!” you ask in excitement. “Yup, I can--” you interrupt “I’ll take it.” Both of them were startled by your immediate acceptance.
“Damn y/n, you hate me that much.” You roll your eyes at her remark. “You know that’s not the reason why I wanna leave.” You turn back to Bokuto to ask who this person is just to make sure it wasn’t some sketchy weirdo. “He’s a friend of mine from high school, he goes to the same college as us. He’s a marketing major.” “Okay, he seems fine.” “Yea, I’ll tell him that you’re interested, and I can set up a time for you guys to get acquainted.” You were kind of excited to meet your potential new roommate. You just hoped that he wasn’t going to be an asshole like your ex. “Thanks so much, Bokuto.” “No problem y/n” he flashes a friendly smile.
After a few hours of hanging out with each other, Bokuto had to go. Before leaving he gave you the address of the apartment, Kuroo’s contact information, and his own. He said he would tell you when Kuroo would be able to meet with you. “Aren’t you glad to have such an amazing friend like me?” she asks smugly. “Uhh if I’m not mistaken it was Bokuto who knows Kuroo not you.” you tease. “Okay, but who was the one who introduced you to him? Me exactly.” The both of you started laughing. “Ok, but seriously thank you for doing this. I’ll treat you to ramen sometime.” “You better.”
_______________________________________________
A week has passed since that day, and Bokuto finally texted you saying that Kuroo was able to meet. You were waiting in anticipation. You were hoping that he didn’t already find someone else during that week of waiting. A wave of relief washed over you when you received Bokuto’s message with the details for the meeting. “So when are you seeing him?” she asks from the kitchen. “Today at 4.” You had about an hour to get ready. “Are you nervous?” “Yes and no,” you respond. “I just hope he doesn’t reject me,” you say while trying to pick out an outfit. “Bo said that he’d be fine with anyone as long as they’re able to pay the other half.” “Do you know anything about him?” you inquire hoping to get a little more information before meeting him. “The only thing Bo has told me is that they’ve known each other since high school and were rival teams for volleyball. Other than that, I’m as clueless as you.” You give her a slight nod.
You finally picked out your outfit and went to go change. “Does this look okay?” She turns around to see what you had on. “Yea you look great.” You go back into the bathroom to look at yourself in the mirror one more time. “ARE YOU SURE?” you yell. “YES STOP WORRYING, YOU LOOK FINE!” she yells back. You leave the bathroom to grab your bag and head to the cafe. “Wish me luck,” you sigh. “Relax, it’s not a life or death situation,” she jokes. You wave goodbye and head over to the cafe, hoping that you wouldn’t arrive late.
_______________________________________________
You walk into the cafe scanning the area to see if he was there. You didn’t even know what he looked like so there was no point in trying to look. You feel a buzz from your pocket. You take your phone out to see a message from Kuroo.
Kuroo Tetsurō: “By the window.”
You look up to see a guy with spiky hair sitting by the window looking at you. You could feel his gaze piercing through you. Your heart started to race. You walked over hoping he wouldn’t notice how nervous you were. “Hey gorgeous,” he says with a smirk. “What’s your name?” His forwardness caught you off guard. “Uh I’m y/n,” you say as you took the seat across from him. “Can I get you something to drink?” he asks. “A black coffee is fine.” He gets up to order the drinks. As he gets up, you catch yourself admiring his looks but you quickly brush it off, especially when he’s going to be your future roommate. Besides you just got out of a relationship. Just as you brushed it off, he comes back with the drinks.
“So why do you wanna be my roommate?” he asks you and you reply with “I just really need a place to live right now, I promise I’ll be a good roommate, and make sure to give the payments on time.” “Whoa whoa whoa there, I just asked for a reason not a whole life story,” he says in a teasing manner. You sit there, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. “Sorry didn’t mean to embarrass you, sweetheart.” Little did he know that it made you feel even more flustered. “Uhmm it’s fine,” you reply. Trying to ease the conversation from what just happened, you say in a cocky manner, “So do you want me or not?” Causing a chuckle to escape his lips.
“This is going to be interesting.”

Sharing Food With The Haikyuu Boys
Characters ↣ Suna ; Osamu
Genre ↣ Fluff
A/N ↣ No specific gender/pronouns involved :), Requests are open!
SUNA
When lunch rolled in, you were eager to take a break from the hours of learning. Packing your things and getting your food, you went towards the table where you and your friends regularly sat. You arrived earlier than the others, so you sat patiently, going on your phone, waiting for them to arrive. Once they appeared, you started to dig into your food. You sensed someone’s gaze as you were sitting, making you scan across the opening. Landing on a couple of familiar eyes, you knew instantly what he wanted. Waving your hand for him to come over you grabbed your fork and stabbed into a piece of meat, waiting for him to bite down on it. “Thanks Y/N”, he spoke as you rolled your eyes. “You think I wouldn’t have noticed, with you staring down my back.” Suna chuckled, “Sorry Y/N, your food just looks really good.” Grabbing another piece of meat you started moving it towards him. “Why don’t I just make your lunch from now on. You still have practice at the end of the day, and you only eat my food.” Suna blushed at the thought of you looking out for him, “You sure Y/N, I don’t wanna trouble you.” You nodded, grinning at his consideration for you. “Yes I’m sure Suna. If I weren’t, I wouldn’t have asked.”
OSAMU
After being done with club activities, you decided to grab something to eat at the convenience store as your parents were working late and couldn’t make you dinner. Walking straight to the ramen section, you chose your favorite pick and headed towards the register. Waiting for the ramen to settle you started going on your phone, checking all the missed messages. Once your noodles started cooking you tore the leftover packaging that concealed the heat and split your chopsticks in half. Suddenly, there grew a commotion at the front of the store, making you poke your head up to see what it was all about. Making eye-contact with one of the Miya twins, you hoped he wouldn’t come towards you. “Y/N whatcha got there?” You huffed, just wanting to enjoy the dinner in front of you. “It’s obviously ramen, ‘samu. Besides, I’m not giving you any.” Picking up some of the noodles with your chopsticks, you realized how mean you sounded. “Fine, you can have a bit. Just don’t eat it all.” Osamu grinned, faintly blushing. “Thanks, Y/N, yer the best.” A blush came to your face as you heard those words. “You stared at him adoringly as he slurped some of the noodles, "Yea whatever, You owe me 'samu.”
