I have been unemployed and trying to find work for the past 6 months with no luck, and need money for moving costs since I cannot renew my lease where I'm currently living.

This may be an example of community accountability at work, but it’s striking to observe that those doing the most fierce calling out or correcting are sighted people. Such efforts are largely self-defeating. I cannot count the times I’ve stopped reading a video transcript because it started with a dense word picture. Even if a description is short and well done, I often wish there were no description at all. Get to the point, already! How ironic that striving after access can actually create a barrier. I am a trans woman who is struggling financially and have barely been scraping by for the past 6 months. Today, my landlord said the rent is being raised and we will potentially be kicked out. I have nowhere else to go, I can't drive and do not have a car, there's no one who could take me in, and if I did somehow move somewhere I would have to start over jobhunting with nothing in my bank account and probably wouldn't even be able to pay first and last month's rent until after finding that new job.
