It’s been crazy for the past six months. Ive gone through all the phases of grief I think. I moved out. I’m now at a relative’s figuring out my next move. I dont have my knitting stuff with me unfortunately. I do have cross stitching stuff so maybe I will post that instead.

I’m still grieving my cat and haven’t touched my knitting needles yet. I hope I will pick them up again some day but it’s hard to because that’s what I was doing when he got very very sick out of nowhere. Hope everyone has been doing well. ❤️

My cat passed away earlier today so I wont be posting for a while. I hope all cat owners who see this give extra snuggles and scratchies to their kitties in memory 💓

hey so - we frogged your boyfriend. The pattern wasn't working out and we'd rather use the materials for something else. Yeah, we unraveled all of him, wound him into balls and put him back in the stash. Sorry. You can help us pick out a new pattern, if you want.

May socks #2, 5/12 for 2023. Toe up, big old pile of scraps, Fleegle heel.

Five different balls of scraps - two Zauberballs, can't remember what the rest were. Ball of foot reinforced with undyed laceweight. Twelve-round stripes. Even when you do it as you go along, weaving in ends is the worst bit. But they do look cheerful!

I couldn’t get a good pic of the fanny pack, but I did start knitting on my walks 😍

Sweater is off the needles! Just need to block and weave in the ends. Let’s be honest though it’s probably going to hang out in my knitting bag for months before I make myself do that last 5% lol

Today I found out that yarners think crocheting socks is subversive and controversial and I just…on one hand, why the fuck not, I guess yarners are allowed to have their controversies, but on the other, how much time do you have in your FUCKIN DAY??

Finished the sweater - started a sock! Cause it’s almost summer and hot and having several ounces/pounds of wool on your lap is intolerable when it’s 80F and humid.

Yay summer sock making season!

Day 4, 5 of 100 days of summer knitting

Not pictured are frogging the few rows i did finish in day 3-4 and then re-knitting them with a smaller set of needles 🥲 I am planning this project to be max 10 days so I really gotta chop chop.

Love that knitting is just fidget stimming but you get a sock at the end

This is a yarn fanny pack you can store yarn in while you walk around knitting or crocheting ??? I walk 3-4 hours a day because I’m an unemployed bum atm so… you see where I’m going with this?!!!

I knitted a few rows after this but basically took a mental health day because I was sleep deprived. Feeling much better after lazing around all day.

Finished these two just in time for a 4 year old's birthday! Fingers crossed that he likes them🤞🏻 Now to rest my hands lol
