She's a dumbass too! She's silly, headstrong and drags Roderich with her and he allows it because he cares about her and generally doesn't like conflict.

Erzsi likes his affection and when Roderich gives her gifts too. You don't need to water down her character to "baddass female who doesn't care what others think"

Hot take, Austria can and will top Hungary and Hungary does enjoy not being in charge and being pampered by the man she loves sometimes. I'm just so tired of this trope where people act like Roderich forgets how to use his own d|ck when it comes to Erzsi.

I know there's some more I remember reading and liking, but I can't find them anymore Q-Q Also, sadly I don't really read as many fics as I used to ;;

Olive Oil To Pair With Bread And Wine [T-Rated, sfw, oneshot, Modern Day] SpAus has three main themes that get explored the most in fics: Marriage, Divorce and Modern Day Nostalgia. This one belongs to the third kind! And I really loved it <3

Einmal Noch [T-Rated, sfw, 2 chapters, Modern Day] Okay sorry, I actually wrote this one// But I don't really mean to self-promote, I just love Spaus so much and I love to share everything I think and make about them. While I started writing this many years ago in Italian (and never published it), it was in fact Olive Oil To Pair With Bread And Wine what inspired me to finish writing mine, translate it and post it on AO3, because the premise of our fics was coincidentally similar and that gave me so many feels I needed to pour into words and share with the world Q-Q

Ich vermisse dich [M-Rated, multichapter, Modern Day] This is actually in Spanish!! But I quite enjoyed it so if anyone feels like checking it out, speaking Spanish or relying on a text translator, I'm leaving it here lol Also, while it's labelled as M, I personally do not remember any particularly graphic stuff in it, but be warned that my memory might be rusty.

Enamórate [M-Rated, lemon, multichapter, Human!AU] This fic hasn't been updated since 2020 and it is actually meant to have PruAus as the endgame. What has been written so far, however, is just the SpAus part of it, from the blossoming of their love until the heartbreaking end of it and I need to share it because it gave me so much feelings back when I read it Q-Q ♥ It's very good although it doesn't end well for them (but hey, as SpAus shippers we're used to that idea, aren't we? T_T) Also I actually read it on Fanfiction dot net, I've just realized it's on AO3 too 😂

Vivace - The sound you make [M-Rated, lemon, multichapter, Human!AU] Be prepared, the end is not a happy one. This is also available in Spanish and German (og version is in German). Also, Austria tops.

State of Dreaming [E-Rated, lemon, oneshot, Historical] Some good, ol', fluffy historical smut, with just the usual pinch of angst/melancholy Spaus enthusiasts apparently cannot let go of.

On the one hand, It's completely understandable to have creators post on twitter and have a presentable image for their work and lord knows there are a lot creators/celebs who need a leash when using twitter.

But part of the charm of the series was the blog and the fanmail, and knowing the author.

If he did get hatemail then he seemed to have done the right thing by not interacting at all which is probably easier than ever in his current position.

I wonder how Hima managed getting hate messages back when he still interacted with fans on his blog. There's no way he never got any, especially after the South Korea controversy. Maybe that's why he stopped interacting? I imagine no matter how good you are at dealing with death threats and such, after a long enough time you'll get sick of them and want them to stop

I think movie posters should be art done by guest artists. Kinda like how comics will have a guest artist do the cover or when the simpsoms have guest animator do an opening.

Very big pet peeves when you find a fanfiction with a very cool plot but the poor formating (forgotten caps, one block text, a lot of space between each sentence, etc..) makes it unreadable
