Nice reminder from our own firebug that Halloween isn't just spooky and scary stuff. Sometimes you just wanna wear a cute outfit and throw glitter everywhere, every on the carpet. Cuteness is as good as horror

Hey fun little thing you should try while reading any Engie ship fic: listen to 'haunted' religious music. Preacher's Daughter by Ethel Cain, Saved! by Reverend Kristin Micheal Hayter, Take Me to Church by Hozier, anything with religious trauma in it.

No matter what you're reading, it'll add a new kind of depth to the story, like a hidden fear/insecurity that's lingering throughout, only to uncover itself at the slightest mention of God or lighthearted joke involving religion.

Works with anything story, and is a nice hack when you want to add angst to a fluffy fic

A prompt with so much possibility is surprising hard to find an idea to draw about, so I went with the basics

Day 24: Shallow

Shallow and petty arguments are the only result whenever Soldier does this. Don't worry, they'll be fine. Soldier stopped burning his body after the third time this happened, so now Merasmus just throws a fit without trying to kill him. He finds a way back in his body, but it usually takes an hour or more

omg monster boyfriends! How cute. And yes Spy has been a frog this whole time. Hopefully he'll change back after Halloween, but who knows. Last year it took weeks to get rid of all the ghosts still wandering around
