Hey, this is going to be a blog for hopefully useful content warnings for those with misophonia, or any other auditory sensory sensitivities, for audio dramas and fiction podcasts,
mostly horror, as that’s what I’m currently into.
Posts will be separated by season (or chapter/year/whatever format the series uses) with warnings for each episode relating to common misophonia triggers or sound sensitivities, and links to episode transcripts if available.
If you have sensory issues relating to noise, please pipe in with some recommendations for content warnings you’d find useful.
Shows I currently plan on covering:
Malevolent
The Magnus Archives
The Magnus Protocol
Podcasts I will get around to eventually when I finally listen to them
Welcome to Night Vale
Camp here & there
I Am In Eskew
The Split Verses
Old Gods of Appalachia And more!
Expect longer series to take more time to cover, as some of these series have a whole lot of episodes to go through, I'm only one person after all.

Hello everyone!! My name is Juno (you might know me as one-half of ODCD podcasts, co-creator of either and creator of 101.7 OUROBOROS) and this is the official blog for my new show. Sit down. Get ready. Shit's about to get weird.
We've Gotta Get Out of Here is a science fantasy audio drama following Ellie and James, two twenty-somethings from southern California who are having, arguably, one of the worst days ever. Not only did they just break up-- they also took a wrong exit directly into a pocket dimension. Can someone let them catch a break already??
WGGOH is inspired by the road-trip podcasts that came before it (Alice Isn't Dead and Archive 81: Left of the Dial, namely) with a healthy dash of Welcome to Night Vale and Midnight Burger sprinkled in. There's quantum-locked gas stations. There's evil wizards. There's not-evil wizards. There's zombies. There's a diner run by the zombies. There's a lady with a rifle who's killing the zombies. There's LESBIANS. What else could you possibly need?
Give us a follow if you're interested!! Our first minisode is complete and will be out soon, and our pilot will be premiering in May alongside all the other amazing projects in the PBC podcast jam. Get ready. We'll see you then.

Audio drama in search of Audio Engineer
So unfortunately I haven't heard from my previous editor for about a month, so Divine Calamity is looking for a new Audio Editor with some previous experience with Audio dramas.
This position is deferred payment, meaning that if the audio drama makes money it will be distributed to all the cast and crew. Upfront payment is not possible due to the creator's tight financial situation. Please keep this in mind before applying.
Now for the requirements of the position:
Needing an editor and Audio Engineer to help add sound effects and background sound to the audio drama. Experience with creating audio dramas preferred along with experience making monster sounds from animal and other sound bytes.
Creator of the audio drama will happily cut and put the lines in sequence for you if desired, to lessen the workload. Creator uses Reaper DAW to do this, you will need a way to convert the Reaper file to your selected DAW for that to work unfortunately.
Alternatively Creator can provide the trimmed lines in MP3s so you'd only need to sequence and add sound effects / ambience.

An Update on "Liars & Leeches"
It’s been a while since we released the finale of our show’s first season. Since then, “Liars & Leeches” has been listened to tens of thousands of times in more than 80 countries, and we couldn't be more grateful for the support we’ve received since its initial release.
Initially, our plan was to begin pre-production and script writing of our second season in the fall of 2023 and release it this year. However, the past year has been a very long one, full of ups, downs, and some big changes in the lives of our cast and crew. Now that the dust has begun to settle, we’ve been digging deep into the pre-production stage of season two, with the writing of the plot nearly complete and work creating the scripts about to begin. We’re very excited to return with new episodes, and we have big plans for this upcoming season, including expanding our season length, as well as the size of our cast.
To help us with our ambitious goals for the second season, we are launching an Indie GoGo campaign. The pre-launch page for the campaign is currently live, and you can sign up there to receive updates when the full campaign launches. There are a host of rewards available for this campaign, including early access to season two episodes, a Q&A form where you can submit questions to both our season one and season two cast and crew, scripts annotated by our creator, scriptwriter, and sound designer, and an original “Liars & Leeches” short story written by our script writer KJ Scott. For more information on the campaign, you can visit the Indie GoGo link above, follow both our blog and and @hemcreekprod, or sign up for the Hemlock Creek Productions newsletter at www.hemlockcreekprod.com/newsletter.
Thank you again listeners for all of your support, it truly means a lot, and we can’t wait to return with season two in 2025.

The AuDIAs 2025
The Audio Drama Indie Awards is a fan-run award show designed to help highlight Hidden Gems in audio drama - the new, the undiscovered, and the underpraised. Submissions will be curated by volunteer judges, and winners will be chosen by popular vote among selected finalists.
Submissions to nominate a show for consideration are open right now, and can be found here. Listeners and creators alike are welcome to submit shows for nomination, whether it's your own show or someone else's. Please note that, depending on the number of shows submitted, some categories may be closed earlier as needed. For more information regarding the nomination categories and submission guidelines, please see our website.
Once the nomination period ends, review teams will listen to the pilot episode of each show and determine category finalists together, which will then be decided by community voting! If you'd like to help judge the awards, please submit the Review Team application here. The awards will be hosted through the Podcast Book Club Discord server, so if you'd like to get involved or just follow along, be sure to join us here. We can't wait to check out your shows very soon!

NEW EPISODE! Metropolis, Episode 7!
Nan emerges into the chaos on God’s Plate, only to realize the chaos is gone. Now there’s only silence and a trail of blood. Nothing appears to make sense in Metropolis. But, as Nan is about to learn, perhaps the only thing worse than not understanding Metropolis is understanding it…
