You are so important to your f/o, and you always will be. How you feel, the things you like and dislike, what makes you who you are, all of it. You matter so much to your f/o, and that will never ever change.

It is valid to not follow canon is your ships and it also equally as valid to follow canon in your ships. Just have fun with it no matter which way you go!

Imagine your f/o taking a few pictures with you. Maybe they're excited, maybe they pretend to be grumpy about it (though they secretly enjoy doing so, because it's you). Later, you notice one of the pictures in their wallet, as their wallpaper or background, posted somewhere, in a framed photo, something of that sort. When you ask them, they smile.

"Out of all of the options, this one ended up being my favorite. I think it looks great."

Imagine your f/o putting a necklace on you, delicately adjusting the chain/link, putting it over your head, whichever style it may be. A loving smile grows on their face, and they kiss your forehead.

Something about showing them your taste in things makes them appreciate you even more, because they love seeing your sense of style.

For the self-shippers who see this...

If you ever feel like trying to get more in touch and connected with your f/o(s), you can always try creating a self-shipping journal. I'm in the on going process of making mine, and it's so nice and fun to do! It can be a fancy little notebook or a spiral notebook, doesn't matter.

I'll make a list of things you can add to your journal if you decide to start one:

- Write down how you and your f/o first met

- Add pictures, doodles or drawings of your f/o

- Add doodles of things that remind you of your f/o or relationship

- Write down any dreams or daydreams you have about them

- Write down a playlist or list of songs that make you think about your f/o

- Write down scenarios that go with a certain song

- You could buy cheap stickers of your f/o off Etsy or something and put them in there

- You could write about your s/I if you have one and how your s/I met your f/o

-Write letters from your f/o or write letters to your f/o

- Things you both enjoy doing with each other

Honestly you could do what you want with it but these are some of the things I've done with mine. It's fun to do cause if you're ever feeling down or anything, you could look at the journal and remind yourself that your f/o loves you <3
