I have a doubt when it comes to selfship:$ it wasn’t until recently that i started considering myself a selfshipper and making my own selfship art. But years ago, I used to be so emotionally attached to certain characters, would fantasize about them with me & think about them all the time but never considered myself a selfshipper back then nor treated it as such

Looking back, it was essentially selfshipping but now I’m unsure if I should consider them past F/O’s or not, and I also feel little bad I’m not with them anymore </3

ouyghhhh i have not been on tumblr at all for a hot minute.... lots has changed. i have FOUR f/os now.. two of them resurfaced from My Dark Tragic Past (/j) and the other 2 are the same ones i had recently. one of them that resurfaced i am particularly excited about though because... they tend to do that. they keep resurfacing like every few months and ive been pretty steadily into them for.. 3 years now probably? so that's awesome welcome back husbands. anyway just felt like ranting a little bit about my awesome 4 f/os i love them alllll so muuuucchhhh :333

merges my 2 main obsessions, me n ted r ponyboy nd Johnny cade, he stabbed someone (everyone but me/my S/I) with a knife (stalactite) and now we gotta run away to not be caught by the police (AM) and faced to the electric chair (we'll be tortured even worse, and face horrible punishment) and instead of him getting his back broken from the church being on fire, he'll be forced into a slug with no mouth and must scream. (my outsiders obsession is getting bad,,, ted being Johnny and im ponyboy, they also aren't canon but yk a veryyy popular ship also..)

do any other selfshippers get this weird anxious feeling they're the """"unattractive"""" character who has a crush on their f/o who will promptly be turned down comedically like. being a SEAsian fat lesbian is kind of fun until you go online and you gotta do all the work convincing yourself you are pretty to your f/os or is that just me.

bc i do know that it ultimately is MY job to make art about my f/o and I and i've been expressing it more with drawing them together with their human designs but it is disheartening to not see art of lesbians that look like me that i could say is "me and my f/o!". i dunno hahaha sorry if this is rambley but i get so much anxiety over this!
