Broken Red String

The Red String of Fate (simplified Chinese: 姻缘红线; traditional Chinese: 姻緣紅線; pinyin: Yīnyuán hóngxiàn), also referred to as the Red String of Marriage, and other variants, is an East Asian belief originating from Chinese legend. According to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red cord around the ankles of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. Often, in Japanese and Korean culture, it is thought to be tied around the little finger. According to Chinese legend, the deity in charge of “the red thread” is believed to be Yuè Xià Lǎorén (月下老人), often abbreviated to Yuè Lǎo (月老), the old lunar matchmaker god, who is in charge of marriages.

The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. This myth is similar to the Western concept of soulmate or a destined flame.+}

HELLO HERE’S A SNEAK PEEK OF THE SAMURAI JACK FAN COMIC IM WORKING ON! 8D

I’ve been drawing and writing nothing but this story for the past weeks, so, yeah… that’s why I’ve been a little inactive lately… 

Anyway, yes, it’s a full comic about my Dark Paladin AU, featuring both Aku and the Samurai, +30 pages long, that I will be dividing in 2? or maybe 3? parts and post somewhere where you can donate to view it (Patreon maybe?) so if u guys feel like helping me financially you’ll finally have a reason to, ahah.

I didn’t want to use an already-written story as a crutch for this comic so instead of a re-imagined episode, it’s a 100% new, original adventure for u to enjoy.

Can’t wait to finish the first part!! Feel like I’m getting faster with each page.

My idea might be different from nalemfandum’s angsty Jack. Jack had spend future world for 50years,but he had spend his homeland for only 10years. After returning his past, he has been feeling to be displaced and missed that crazy future world which has been erased by his hand. It’s always annoying him.
