I'm afraid. I'm not afraid of you leaving, no. I'm afraid of the fact that you may never come home! I'm afraid that you may kiss me, promise you'll be home soon, then walk out that door, but never keep that promise! I'm afraid that the next soldier to step on my doorstep will be a CNO giving me a bunch of papers and a medal and tell me you're not coming home, that they're sorry for my loss!
