“My mom loves Black Friday,” Zoe laughed even as she rolled her eyes.  “Of course that brings people past her store as they rush around, so I get it, but...”  Her smile deepened.  “Yes, I did.  I love designing unique pieces for people, but for me it’s all in metal or stone.”

“I’m not a work of art,” she protested.  “And I wouldn’t really call myself an artist.  I just . . . like to craft, to create.”

persephone was glad for the company, sitting up and moving to give her better view of the bright petals. “please. i would love to see their beauty last forever.” the goddess told her, lifting them a little higher to cover the rocks and swarm the root of the oak that she sat under. her back rests on the bark and she watches the other. a beautiful girl, persephone wonders who her godly parent would be. “what is your name?”

“Oh, thank you!”  She flipped to a new page of her notebook and began to sketch, making little notes on colors and shades in the margins so she could consider whether or not to add crystal.  Maybe just metal for some...?  “It’s such a gorgeous bouquet...”  Looking up at the question, she blinked and then blushed.  “Sorry!  I get so involved - I’m Zoe Fabbro.”
