I really wanted to like this film, because of Gael and Diego (they play brothers !) but it wasn't so good. The main problem is the script, which fails to be interesting, and the terrible voice-over incredibly misogynistic

They changed the director of photography at the beginning of season 3. The new guy's work is... darker. Well I guess the story goes darker too, but I must admit I liked the former one better... Anyway, there's still Nacho.

Mostly because of the beautiful cinematography. This series really have its own visual identity.

I didn't know you English-speaking people use the phrase "cow eyes" to describe beautiful eyes. It reminds me of Ancient Greek βοῶπις (boôpis), meaning "ox-eyed"

It would sound very weird and depreciative in French ("aux yeux de vaches"). Cow is associated with ugliness in French
