I wish we could go back. Back to the days where everything was so easy. Back to when the only thing we cared about was each other. I want to go back and hold your hand in the movie theater & have to adjust my arm since it’s so long. I want to have to take a break from holding your hand because our palms would get so sweaty. I want to go back to when it was awkward. When all we wanted to do was give each other hugs. When we couldn’t wait for our dates at the mall Friday and Saturday nights. When the hardest thing we had to do was say goodnight or buy each other birthday gifts. When seeing you at my locker brightened up my whole day. When we could talk for hours on the phone about any and everything. When we’d get in trouble for staying up late talking. When we’d dream and plan our future together. When we shared our first banana split. When we’d take pictures together. When we’d have long talks while walking to the park. When we’d stop and kiss at the “No Standing” sign. When we’d go on picnics and feed squirrels. When we’d go to thrift stores and flea markets. When every Saturday I’d have dinner with your family. When we had our obsession with making each other friendship bracelets. When we’d go to the beach and sleep under the umbrella. When I’d wake up to your texts. When you would never hear my calls in the middle of the night. When I would ask you what color to paint my nails. When I would come over to your house right after I changed my hair. When we were perfect for each other. When we’d never fight. When we were so infatuated with each other. When you’d hold me when I’d cry. When we told each other everything.  When we were so happy. When we loved each other.... and we still do. It may not be the same love, but you will always be in my heart, no matter what. I’ll be seeing you. P.S. I miss you. 2011

Nothing Worse

I really hope I’m not one of those people who still loves you and wants you years down the road when I’m with someone else.  I can’t imagine anything worse.
