The Lead Vocalist

He has a good instinct and skills at everything

He's not aware that his charisma is the reason he takes lead

He sees his childhood friend Hajime as his rival when it comes to a cappella even though Hajime doesn't see him in that way

- He subscribes to a motorbike magazine.

- Maito doesn't have any specific hobby. Since he thinks hobby is something you like to do, then he assumes that saving money is his hobby.

- He saves up because he wants to buy a motorbike. He wonders if he can buy it if he saves all of his money, including his otoshidama (new year's gift) and his part-time salary until he graduates.

- Maito is not good with scary stuff.

- Maito and Yui know each other because Maito often comes late to school and Yui, as a part of disciplinary committee, has to deal with it.

Mitsuo appears as a narcissist who loves being cute. He even says that "Cuteness (kawaii) is justice!". He uses his own appearance as a weapon towards other people and despite this personality, he hates people who bully weak people and acts on his own aesthetics.

- Mitsuo's older brother is a novelist that Akira admires.

- Mitsuo's mother is the editor-in-chief of a women fashion magazine.

- His hobby of photography is influenced by his father who is a photographer.

- He has good grades. According to Mitsuo, Akira is one of the highest ranking students in his class.

- Akira is weak with scary stuffs too, like Maito and Rin. But when it comes to girls, he pretends to be calm because he doesn't want to show his uncool side.

- Akira's birthday is on White Day.

He loves girls more than three meals a day! He's a popular guy who notices the smallest things about girls like the length of their bangs or change in their lip shapes. Even his reason to join the a capella club is because he "heard that guys who are good singers are popular.

He is a philanthropist that he doesn't have a specific partner or settle on one favorite, everyone is his important princess.

He is Luka's childhood friend and is the person responsible for Luka's transformation. Being adored by Luka, bashed by Mitsuo, scolded by Yui-there's always some kind of noise around him.

The Angel

He's been called "cute" and "an angel" but he wants to be called "cool" instead

He joined the a cappella club after Hajime mentioned about how cool his singing is.

And he looks up to Mitsuo who is both cute and cool

But he's not confident so he decided to join the a cappella to gain more confidence.

- His tie accessories is a gift from his parents. That's his favorite item.

- Luka is half American and half Japanese. His father is an American.

His father is a pilot.

- Even though he's half American, he was born and raised in Japan. He never went overseas and can't speak English very well too. He can't even beat Sayo in it.

- is actually very conscious of his appearance in terms of calories he has and if he is fat

- Hajime was Luka's inspiration to joining the club. Because of him, Luka also enjoys acapella because he never thought that he could sing in public.

- Akira and Luka both met when they were children and were childhood friends. Luka loves Akira in a friendly way very much because he had helped him change who he is now.

Fun fact: He once bought a cow for Michitaka's birthday

Sayo has played the piano up to his third year of middle school. He mostly played classical music rather than pop music.

Sayo born when it was raining night, that why his name means rainy night (雨夜)

GUIDE TO: AOPPELLA!?

Have you ever been interested in getting into 'Aoppella!?' but you don't know where to start? No worries! I, Fimi and Haruto will help you how to start listening/getting into 'Aoppella!?' !!!

Now let's GO GO GOOO!!!

First off,

What is 'Aoppella!?'

It's a music media project centered on a cappella that started the 4th March 2021

It was owned by KLab until the 1st June 2023 and is now owned by Marvelous

This franchise is centered on 17 high school students, composed of 3 units, who will be participating in an a cappella competition named Aoppella!

SYPNOSIS:

The boys were enchanted that day.

Standing before them were ordinary high school students just like them. No extravagant costumes.

No musical instruments.

And yet, the moment they opened their mouths, ever-changing harmonies gushed forth, and the audience went wild.

"We want to sing like that too! We want to shine!"

'Aoppella'

is an a cappella competition for high school students only, where high school students who are fascinated by a cappella "unaccompanied singing" aim to reach even greater heights. Their performance is about to begin !

The leader of Lil Happy

He decided to make an a cappella with Rin and Sayo after watching an a cappella performance by FYA'M'

He's a laid-back person but yet proactive when it comes to his interest

His childhood friend is Maito from FYA'M'

- Hajime likes Zou-san so much to the point he won't miss any Zou-san's live streaming.

- He dislikes eggplant.

- His orange jacket is a custom made and he got it as a present from his bandmates.

- He has a poor sense of direction.

- Rin's nickname, Shanshan-senpai, is given by Michitaka as a proof to his friends that Rin is not a bad guy and is not scary at all.

- He has a secret ambition to conquer all kinds of meals in his part-time job.
