omg I loved your grumpy x sunshine Mike and reader work - could you please do another scenario where the sunshine! reader is the one who has a bad day and it’s up to grumpy! Mike to comfort and help out in his own way? :) thanks for sharing your work!
a/n : i'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the request. fem!reader, she/her pronouns, mainly just fluff
☆ bad day : grumpy!mike schmidt x sunshine!fem!reader
mike knew something was wrong the moment he closed his door behind him and was greeted with silence has he entered the house.
you were always rushing in to greet him as soon as the sound of his keys against the door knob signaled his arrival, but today that clearly wasn't the case.
"hello?" mike called out and a moment later was met by the sight of abby creeping out of the hallway.
"where's y/n?"
"well hello to you too" the young girl rolled her eyes, walking past mike and heading for the kitchen.
"sorry" he sighed, catching her arm before she got too far and pulling her into his arms for a hug, earning a groan in response. "how was your day?"
"it was okay, but i think y/n/n's sick."
"sick? what do you mean?" mike thought back to when he last saw you just that morning. you were fine, your normally bubbly self despite the early hours, yawning between giggles as you and abby got breakfast prepared.
abby shrugged, "i don't know, she's been in bed since we got home."
mike knew you better than abby to know that you couldn't be sick. even if you were sick, you would protest and continue your daily routine as usual. something had to have been seriously wrong for you to defy from that routine and lay in bed for hours, especially with abby home. you hated to leave her alone and always tried to find something spontaneous and fun for the two of you to do if time permitted.
he warily walked into the direction of your shared bedroom and slowly opened the door that was left ajar. the lights were off and if it wasn't for the glow of the hallway light, he wouldn't have been able to see your figure on the bed in the dimness of the afternoon darkness.
but there you were, laying on your side, facing away from the door. mike could tell you weren't sleeping by the way that you were scratching at the loose threads of the faded colored duvet.
"hey" he called out softly, nearing your spot on the bed where he then took a seat on the edge, softly placing a hand on your shoulder. "you okay?" he asked, trying to gauge your emotions. that quickly cleared up however when he heard a sniffle come from you, followed by a small hiccup. you were crying.
mike leaned over to look at your face and was met with wet eyes and puffy chapped lips. his eyebrows furrowed, "hey hey hey" he said softly, moving you so you were now laying on your back, looking up at the ceiling as you tried to will the tears away. you hated crying, and you knew mike hated to see you cry. "what's wrong? what happened?"
you closed your eyes and let out a deep breath, clearly trying to control yourself. "just...had a bad day." you sighed.
"well, talk to me about it." mike wasn't always the best at dealing with emotions, but he was good at comforting you and abby, always wanting you to open up to him, even if he had trouble doing the same sometimes.
you took in another deep breath and nodded, preparing yourself to tell mike about the worst day you'd had in a while.
"i fell off the front steps after you and abby left this morning. but it was okay" you started, "i laughed, realized i scraped by knees and had to change my pants but that was okay." mike nodded along and listened, rubbing your side as you spoke. "but then i got a flat tire on my way to work." you continued, sighing as you felt the emotions building up again. "that was fine, it took me a while to get it fixed but i mananged and that was taken care of with no problems. but i was late, and usually my boss would let that kind of thing slide, but we had some hire ups there to oversee us and when one of them called me out for not being "better prepared", instead of changing the subject or at the very least, defending me after everything i've done for him, he agreed! then she basically told him that i should either be fired or have my paycheck cut." you finished with a huff and let the fresh tears that had built up in your eyes fall down your face.
mike felt a pang of hurt in his chest as he heard you recount the unfortunate events of your day. you didn't deserve to go through all of that. "why didn't you call me?" he asked, brushing the tears away from your face and attempting to flatten the hairs that had become out of place.
your hands came up to cover your face as you let out a sob. "i forgot to charge my phone!" you cried, earning a soft aww honey from mike as he kissed your temple, allowing for you to let your feelings out. after a minute of you gasping for air through your cries and furiously wiping away tears that just kept coming, you started to relax. you sighed and turned your head to your partner.
"i'm sorry you had to see me like this, how was your day?" you asked, still sniffling. mike shook his head and scoffed a laugh, even in the middle of a breakdown, you still want to talk about him.
"no don't worry about me, it was fine." he said, "how can i help you?"
you shrugged, looking down and beginning to play with mikes fingers where his hand now rested on your stomach.
"come on" he insisted, "you always help me when i'm having a bad way and i want to help you now. do you want a snack? do you want to watch a movie, or go for a drive? anything you want, i'll do it for you."
you let out a small laugh at mike's dedication, causing him to squeeze your side. "i'm serious!"
you looked back up and into his eyes, cracking a small smile. "maybe a movie." you said quietly.
"okay, i can do that." mike spoke, starting to get up from his seat on the bed until he was stopped by your hand on his arm.
"but first can you just hold me for a bit. please?" mike looked down at you with a kind of softness that he ever only reserved for you.
"yeah, i can do that too."
the end ☆

a/n : feeling angsty, no gender specified, no y/n.
payday. the day mike looked forward to and also dreaded the most. payday meant he was able to take his hard earned money straight to the bank, where he would cash his check... and then watch his earnings get flushed down the toilet as he made a payment on whatever bill he was behind, which was usually a few…
you knew this dilemma. mike voiced it to you every time he came home from the bank and flopped on the couch as he tried to list off all of the other things he needed to pay for with the little money he had left. now he has been good with budgeting, but there’s only so much you can do when you’re providing for yourself and a growing young girl. you paid for groceries and abby’s clothes every now and then but mike wouldn’t let you do any more, always concerned that he looked like he was asking for handouts.
so you tried to do a nice thing. you did do a nice thing, but to mike it seemed like the complete opposite.
when he had gone to the bank that week and attempted to make a payment on his water and heating bill, the bank teller informed him that it was already paid for.
“what- are you sure?” mike was confused. he knew he was at least two months behind on paying it. he had done the math earlier that week. just as his confusion started to make him spiral he was ripped out of his thoughts by the sound of the bank teller saying your name.
“excuse me?”
“it says here that’s who paid for the bill.”
which is what brought him storming through the door of his home. he tossed his jacket off and onto the back of the couch and began angrily pacing, stewing in his upset.
you playfully chased abby out of her room as you both went to the front room to greet mike.
“hey babe”, you said out of breath, smiling as you both came to a halt. “you okay?”
“abby, could you please go to your room?” mike said calmly, but by the flair of his nostrils and the way he kept a hand on his hip you know something was very wrong.
“why?” abby asked, confused and probably sensing her brother's bad mood as well.
“just go. please.” he repeated, to which the young girl complied, swinging her arms while she walked away.
you turned to him, now concerned. “what’s wro-”
“i went to the bank today.” he interrupted your question, causing you to stand up straighter in surprise. “i tried to pay for the water and heat, but they told me you already did.”
a feeling of anxiety began to creep into your body at his aggressive tone as you looked down to avoid his angry gaze. “yeah, i did.”
“why would you do that?” mike asked, walking so he was in front of you, less than a foot apart. you felt like you were being interrogated.
“i just thought—” you started, but he interrupted you again.
“you thought what? that i couldn’t take care of it myself?”
“n-no i know—” you suddenly became bashful, a little embarrassed even as you thought back to you calling a few days earlier to make the payment.
“cause i don’t need your help. i’ve been doing this on my own for a long time and i don’t need you coming in and acting like—.”
“hey!” it was your turn to interrupt him. you weren’t going to let him take your actions and twist them into something evil. “i live here too mike. forgive me if i want to contribute.”
mike scoffed and turned away for a moment, rubbing his hand over his eyes before he continued. “you know, if i had known you would be so overbearing i would’ve never asked you to move in with me.”
you visibly flinched at that as you felt a sharp pain go through your heart. you don’t know what exactly caused the pain. the comment itself, or the way he said it so nonchalantly, like he truly meant it.
you looked away as you felt your throat constrict. you weren’t going to cry, all that could do in that moment was look like an admission of guilt. even though you know you did nothing wrong.
“well,” you sighed, swallowing the lump you had felt forming. “maybe i shouldn’t have fought so hard to end my lease early.”
you were referring to the weeks you had spent fighting with the landlord of your old apartment building. you and mike had begun the moving process anyway, excited to start the new chapter of your lives together. now here you were four months later, almost ten months into your relationship and you wished you could just walk out of the door and go back to that very apartment like you often did when you and mike would argue early on in your relationship. sure it was lonely, but you just wanted to be away from mike right now. so you did the second best thing and walked out of the living room, trying to find any other place in the house that could serve you peace.
mike felt bad about his choice of words, and about his whole reaction to the situation. it was in your nature to help people in any way you could, but mike didn’t want you to see him as a charity case.
hours passed and he stayed in the living room. laying on the couch with his eyes closed as he tried to rest. hoping sleep could help the situation somehow, clear his head at least. this proved a failure though, as through the thin walls he could hear you in the deathly quiet of the house.
every sniffle made his heart race and every deep breathe you took made him want to wrap you in his arms and whisper gentle words to you. but for the life of him, he couldn’t get himself to get up and find you. too afraid that he’d make things worse.
it wasn’t until he checked his watch and saw it was nearing nine o’ clock that he’d have to talk to you sooner or later. he knew he wasn’t strong enough to go to bed without making things right with you.
he walked to abby’s room first, where she was sat on her bed reading. she’d been in here silently for hours. thinking about how he didn’t even think to check on her after the argument made his stomach turn. she did the same thing when their parents used to fight, keeping quiet and to herself until the storm had passed.
“hey” he said from his spot at the door. “did you eat today?” abby just glanced at him and nodded.
mike went over to sit next to her. “listen” he spoke softly, “we’re okay, alright? don’t worry about whatever you heard. everything’s okay.”
abby just looked at him again and set her book down on her bedside table. she laid down and closed her eyes, signaling she was ready for bed.
after mike gave abby her goodnight kiss and stayed with her until she fell asleep, he quietly left her room, now intending to find you.
he entered your shared bedroom and found that you weren’t there, however from his bedroom window he could see the backyard light was on, giving away your presence.
as he reached the back door, he saw you sat on the steps, with nothing but a thin long sleeve covering your arms against the chilly night. you had to have been there for a while, he thought. he slowly opened the door and a cool breeze hit his face, his hoodie giving him enough warmth to avoid shivering.
his steps were basically silent as he approached you, which is where he noticed the distinct box sat next to you.
a box of cigarettes. mike knew you had smoked before you had started dating. you quit for good when you realized the relationship was getting serious, you knew it was a bad habit. you had tried to quit in the past but your worries got the best of you. but now you had the right motivation, you didn’t want to be a bad influence to abby and mike appreciated that, being supportive in your journey to quit for good. it had been almost six months since you last smoked (cigarettes at least), and now here you were.
mike cleared his throat, “i thought you threw those away.”
you didn’t look at him. you just kept staring out into the view of dewey grass and blowing trees.
after a moment you answered, “don’t worry, i didn’t smoke one.” you looked at him for a second before looking back ahead. “i was just thinking about it.”
mike didn’t know what to say, opting to just take a seat next to you. he continued to study you, taking notice of the puffy rims of your eyes and chapped lips. the cold failed to hide the evidence of your crying.
“i thought it would be a nice thing to do.” you said softly, finally continuing what you were trying to say to him earlier. “you work so hard to take care of us. and i thought it’d be a good way to show my appreciation. to show that you don’t always have to take on every burden on your own.”
mike let out a deep breath and looked up, willing back the tears he felt building up behind his eyes. he knew you meant well. he had known that since the beginning. but he was too stubborn and stupid to accept that sometimes the people that care about him will do things for his own good. he needed you to survive. and you needed him.
“i don’t even know why i said that. about you moving in.” he turned to look at you again. he said your name quietly, almost whisper like. “ever since i’ve known you there’s not a day that goes by that i don’t want to wake up and see your face. you have to know that.”
you finally turned and held his gaze, making the beat of mike’s heart quicken. “i think so. it’s hard to know for sure when you reject my help so often.”
“what do you mean?”
“i want to help your problems mike, not make them worse. that's what i'm here for. i’ve shown you i’m in this for the long run and you know that, but if I'm somehow making things more difficult for you then maybe i should-"
"no no no please. you're not, seriously." mike sounded desperate. and that's because he was. he couldn't lose you over this. "you help me in a about a million different ways every day. and you shouldn't have to use your money to do even more if you don't have to."
you shook your head, looking down again, but mike leaned in closer to keep looking into your eyes. "you shouldn't have to kill yourself trying to provide for her anymore mike. if you really want this to work- then i can't just sit by and watch you take on the pressure alone."
you looked back up and finally into his eyes. you could see the hesitation, the fear he had at the thought of letting you do this and you regretting ever trying to help him.
"please" you pleaded, reaching your hand out and grabbing his where it was placed on his knee. "please let me help you."
mike squeezed your hand back and nodded slowly. he knew you, and he knew you wouldn't regret it.

yes! i’m not goth but i looked up some outfits and makeup and stuff. i know the media waters down goth style, but i hope this is what you had in mind!! this is also kind of all over the place sorry 😅
includes / warnings - reader fem, has piercings :D. hc format. after freddy’s.

first time mike sees you hearts shoot out his eyes like he’s in a cartoon
“what’re you staring at?” abby asks.
“uh,” mike trails off, not being able to answer as he literally locked on you. it’s when you glance over at him when his face get all red and he looks away and goes back to grocery shopping.
abby walks up to you after seeing mike’s interest and starts a conversation with you
mike tries to steer her away, but he can’t get to her before she says:
“my brother thinks you’re pretty.”
lmao if mike didn’t want to die before this, he definitely wanted to now
“oh, he does?” you grin at him.
mike visibly gulps. but he’s glad he’s closer to you and he can really see how hot you are lmao
“yeah,” he nods. “i-i really like your piercing,” he points to his own eyebrow where you have a piercing on your face.
“thank you. it’s new, actually.”
although mike was a little worried about abby running off to talk to you, in the end it was a good thing 😸
mike loves watching you do your makeup. he’ll sit there for hours staring at you for hours if he could
he loves watching your skilled hands paint eyeliner over your eyes. he likes watching you mix lipstick shades together to create the perfect shade you lay desire that day
“don’t you have to go to work?” you ask.
“i can be late if that means i get to stare at your pretty face.”
also, he’s just so impressed with how talented you are at doing makeup and will literally tell you how artistic you are just bc you know how to make a straight wing
mike loves the chunky heels and boots you wear. he likes when you tower over him 😼
not to mention, when the boots go up your thigh he lowk gets all hot and bothered by it lol
he also loves buying you new accessories to put in your piercings. the first holiday you spent together, he bought you a shit tone of necklaces and new pieces to put in your septum
mike loves taking you out. not only bc he loves showing you off in general. in his head he’s definitely walking around like “yeah i know i bagged the most beautiful woman in the world. all you other guys suck.”
but in all seriousness, he loves the dresses you put on. he always says you look like a vampire princess, and he’s not entirely wrong
the dresses you have are fabulous omg. there’s one where it all connects form a choker-like strap around your neck and has straps connecting to the sweetheart neckline of the dress (soz if this doesn’t make any sense lmfao). the dress is textured on the skirt and stops a little bit above your knees. and fuck if mike doesn’t just want to rip it off of you after also wanting to stare at you in it for all of eternity.
you also have this sleek, black, satin dress that has like a straight neckline and long sleeves and goes down to your feet.
everytime mike sees you wearing that he mouths literally waters
now, just to go back to the fact that he is super intimated when first dating you
he was so afraid he was going to be too boring for you or basic. and also just not the type guy you were looking for
but just to his luck, you think he is perfect for you
omg but in the first month or two do you two dating, i just imagine him finding out what music you like and trying to learn every word of every song to siouxsie and the banshees, specimen, sisters of mercy
it definitely does impress you and you think it’s so sweet
for your bday he definitely tries to take you to any concert he can get tickets to
now on the subject of abby, she is definitely obsessed with you
she’s always asking you to do her makeup for school, and you happily oblige!
mike always looking out for abby in his own way, so he was worried if she went to school caked with eyeliner, she would face some backlash, but he knows how happy it makes her — and you — to play with makeup
abby’s always asking mike she can get a tattoo and piercings
“abby, you just turned 11. you won’t be able to drive anytime soon, so no tattoos anytime soon.”
she’s always trying to have you convince him, but unfortunately you have to agree with mike
buuuuttt you do paint and draw designs on abby sometimes and she acts like their tattoos and that’s close enough for her until she’s older
you also buy her face piercings that hook on her nose and lip
mike does let her get her ears pierced once she promises she can handle the little needle poke and she proceeds to try and steal all your earrings lmao
luckily, you buy her copy cats of them so she can have her own
other random things:
mike definitely lets you paints his nails. this is not at all that crazy of an idea, but, it’s smth new he’s never done but he loves watching you get so excited. you can even practice nail art on him too
you have a couple of tattoos, specifically one that goes around the side of your thigh and it just makes him fall to his knees!!
Halloween you guys dress up as the Addams family !!!
so fitting cuz you’re a hot, powerful woman and mike’s like gomez: unwaveringly obsessed with you. and of course abby is wednesday hehe

a Jess fic somehow related to winter/Christmas?
a/n : sorry for basically falling off the face of the earth lol, here’s something small i’ve had in my drafts for almost two years. no gender specified, no y/n
i’ll be home for xmas ☆ jess mariano x reader
there was nothing like the holidays. the cold weather, no school, warm drinks, and the beautiful snow that was soon to cover stars hollow. however this year's winter had been hard to enjoy ever since jess had left to california to visit his dad. you understood why he wanted to leave town of course and had been fully supportive of his plans, but now that he had actually been gone, you felt a void in your life. i mean, calls from payphones could only accomplish so much.
you thought you could handle it. its not like the two of you were completely dependent of each other, you saw each other around town almost every day and if you went a few without talking to each other, it was nothing to worry about. now, you wish you savored your time with him, maybe went on a few more dates with him.
you currently remained laid in bed, relishing in the warmth your countless blankets gave you. it was past 11 in the morning and as you didn't have school and your parents were at work already, you were in no rush to leave your solitude. that was, until your stomach reminded you of its presence and you realized you really couldn't just stay in bed all day without suffering from hunger.
slowly sitting up, you sucked in a breath as the cold air from your bedroom made its way to your body. its now or never, you thought. bracing yourself, you ran to pick up a sweater you had discarded on your desk, quickly putting it on to provide you with some heat. and after finding your slippers, you finally made your way to the kitchen.
as you prepared yourself to make a hot drink, you glanced at the calendar on your family's fridge.
december 22nd.
christmas was just days away. you of course were looking forward to it. good food, presents, classic christmas movies on every channel. but to think that you wouldn't be able to enjoy any of it with jess by your side was a bit of a disappointment. you had only been dating for around eight months, making this your first holiday season together.
what would he have gotten you? you couldn't help but wonder. clothes? cd's? something random, yet thoughtful like a candle of your favorite scent? you chuckled at the thought of jess browsing the candle aisle at a department store.
you took your drink to your room as you looked through your closet, deciding to go for a walk, maybe even picking up a pastry at luke's or the local bakery for breakfast.
picking out some warm layers you quickly got dressed, not wanting to leave your body vulnerable of the low temperature of your home.
as you laced up your winter boots, you spotted something in the corner of your eye. from underneath your bed you saw a book peaking out. as you picked it up you quickly realized that it was one of the many jess had been pushing you to read.
it was the catcher in the rye, a classic, you remember him saying as he handed it to you.
you had gotten only a few chapters in, schoolwork taking too much of your time up for you to actually enjoy it, however now seemed as a perfect time as any to continue.
you placed in in the crook of your arm as you placed the essential wallet and keys into your jacket pockets and prepared to leave your house.
you ultimately decided against going to luke’s as you approached the middle of town, knowing that jess’ absence from the restaurant would feel more prominent. you instead bought hot chocolate at the bakery and sat by the window, so you can take in the beautiful snowy view in the moments you weren’t reading.
you couldn’t help but start thinking of jess again. about how he and luke probably would have came over for christmas dinner. you’re parents were actually quite fond of them, your mother fawning over how sweet jess was to you, and your father surprisingly having a few things in common with your boyfriend’s uncle. maybe next year you thought, sighing as you took another sip.
you were two more chapters into the book before you decided to take a break, your hot chocolate being long empty. a walk sounds nice.
you plan was interrupted however, as the moment you stepped back outside, you saw him.
jess was standing on the frosty lawn of the town’s center with his back turned, looking around, looking for you. you gasped and slowly began walking towards him, maybe you were mistaken. he wasn’t supposed to be back until new years!
“jess?” you called out, and as you approached he turned at the sound of your voice, a smile forming as he saw you. the moment you realized for sure it was him you ran, almost knocking him over with the force you hugged him with.
“hey” he laughed, a small tease in his voice at your dramatic reaction.
“what are you doing here?” you asked him.
"they don't have snow in california." you chuckled at his answer, still trying to wrap your head around his presence.
"and i um", he hesitantly added on, glad your face was buried in his shoulder. "i really missed you."
you stepped back an inch, just enough to see his face and the warm color that began to shade his cheeks. his eyes traveled all over your face, taking in the features he thought about every moment he was away from you.
you smiled widely, "are you blushing?"
"what? no!" he quickly defended, eyebrows furrowing at the laugh you tried to hide at his response. "i'm just not used to the cold anymore!"
you let out a louder laugh at that, softly kissing him before placing your chin back on his shoulder as you resumed your hug.
"yeah, okay." you responded sarcastically. then sincerely, "i really missed you too."
happy holidays ☆

your newest mike fic has me dead on the floor omg. can you please write something with grumpy mike and his sunshine reader?
a/n : i love this concept it’s such a classic, leans towards fem!reader but no she/her pronouns used, no use of y/n, lots of fluff and a smidge of angst
☆ moments in grumpy!mike x sunshine!readers relationship :
1 ౨ৎ putting on performances with abby. for a child her age, an active imagination is a given. however with the kinds of things she has experienced in her life, the possibilities are truly endless. it's not uncommon for mike to come home and see that the living room has essentially been transformed into a broadway set. and even though he's often coming home from a long shift, exhaustion be damned, you and abby still sometimes manage to wrangle him into the worlds you've created.
if you and abby are the knights of opposing royal courts, he is the jester. if you two are witches, he is the evil henchman. if you're competing fighters, he's the referee. if you two are ballerinas, he is the judge (and he always chooses you as the winner).
but no matter how many times you and abby tell him that he has to do the voices too, he still won't learn. he's essentially just an audience member of your theatrics, sitting on the ground in whatever costume one of you have placed on his shoulders and simply trying to fathom how to two people can have so much energy at the end of the day.
2 ౨ৎ grumpy!mike is your own personal bodyguard. although your sunny aura is extremely welcoming on its own, the constant frown on his face is enough of a signal for a person to turn and walk the other way the moment they notice him next to you.
he's often uncomfortable in public, too aware of his surroundings and overanalyzing everyone's actions. this results in his having a hand on you at all times to calm his nerves, whether that be with your hands clasped together, his hand on your waist or his arm around your shoulder. at first glance the two of you could look like complete strangers that just happen to be in close proximity to each other, but the second mike turns to look at you and his expression softens, it's obvious the two of you are in love.
3 ౨ৎ for the first few weeks of you and mike getting to know each other, he’d never really smiled. sure, he was always kind and polite but the most he would give to express joy was the raise of his eyebrows and the tiniest bit of an amused smirk. so of course when you had been in the middle of recounting a story and mike had laughed, smiling with all of his perfect teeth on display, you were pleasantly shocked.
"so that's what that looks like." you grinned at him, earning a tilt of his head in return.
"what does what look like?" he asked.
"your smile." mike was quick to blush, coughing and looking down for a moment to try and regain his original composure, but before he could feel too embarrassed you continued, "i like it, you should do it more often."
from then on you couldn't get enough of his smile, always trying to make him laugh. which as serious as he is, deep down he lived for it, just basking in your joy and the fact that he was the cause of it.
4 ౨ৎ that being said, mike has a bit of a temper and you know that, taking his waves of bad moods in stride and trying your best to cheer him up, but sometimes he gets so riled up that there’s only so much you can do to help, and mike loses patience.
it’s very rare when he snaps at you and when he does he almost immediately regrets it after seeing how it effects you.
the ever-present smile you hold that has the power to lift everyone’s spirits falls in an instant when one of his outbursts catches you off guard. your eyebrows furrow and you look down to try to keep your own composure. you know he’s not actually mean, at least never to you. you pushed him too hard, you think to yourself and it’s in this moment that mike snaps out of his rage, like a demon that was possessing him had left his body and all he feels is his heart ache.
here you are, the light of his life and he’s the reason you’re not smiling. he rubs his palm over his forehead and reaches out for you, “fuck, i’m sorry” he sighed, “i don’t know why i yelled”
you feel his hand hover over your shoulder and look up, seeing his face full of regret. you reach your hands up and hold his face, which mike immediately melts into, his hands moving to hold your waist. he grabs you tight, desperate even, thinking that if he lets you go you'll leave and he'll lose you for good.
“i know baby. you’ve just had a bad day, i shouldn’t have pushed you.” you sympathize with him, to which he shakes his head.
“yeah but that’s not an excuse, you just wanted to help and—" he pauses and sighs, disappointed with himself, "i’m grateful for that. i love that you care about my problems, no matter how stupid they are.”
you smile gently at his confession, and a weight is lifted off of his chest.
“they’re not stupid. plus, i know you’d do the same for me. you can groan all you want about it but deep down you’re the biggest softie i know.”
mike rolls his eyes playfully, and leans his forehead against yours, “only to you.”
you giggle and connect your lips to his, letting them linger for a few seconds before pulling away and whispering, “yeah, i’d hope so.”
thanks for the request ☆

moving day
words: 409 (short i know, sorryy)
pairing: boyfriend!mike schmidt x gn!reader
warnings: light cursing, and just some cute domestic fluff ❤️
————
“okay, i think that should do it.” mike says as he places the last of your boxes onto the bedroom floor.
“thank god.” you groan, exhaustedly. it had been a long day of moving, walking, and carrying for you both.
moving-in was exciting for you. when mike first extended the offer, you thought that he was kidding. but no. he actually wanted you to live with him, and that made you feel a myriad of happy little emotions.
“now, we just gotta unpack.” he states.
you let out an even more exhausted groan in response.
you had about half a dozen boxes, and unpacking them was not an option for you. due to major exhaustion—and let’s just be honest, unwillingness—you flopped down on his your bed in hopes that you’ll fall asleep and when you wake up, everything would be taken care of.
mike, on the other hand, was more amused than exhausted. yea, getting all the boxes from your car sucked, but this was certainly brightening up his day. actually, just you in general brightened up his day. he wasn’t the type of person to show his emotions, but the fact that he could call his bed “our bed” now made him want to do like, several mental backflips.
so he couldn’t really be mad at your childlike tantrum you were throwing just now. i mean, it was pretty funny. but he knew if you never unpacked today, those boxes would become part of the house, and he didn’t feel like navigating through a bunch of boxes for the next couple of years, so he decided to be a good boyfriend and help you get off the bed,
by pushing you off, like a good boyfriend would do.
you land on the ground with a loud thud, which emits an unusual giggle from mike.
“you motherfucker.” you say while laying face down on the ground.
he walks over to you and crouches down to get on your level. you open your eyes to find him smiling at you in your immature state. before he can react you kiss him and pull him down by his neck so now he’s on laying on the ground kissing you.
he’s quick to wrap his arm around your lower back and pull you, so you’re both on your sides. you put a hand up on his cheek and smile into the kiss.
yeah, you could definitely get used to this every day.

can you please do a writing piece on a night in with Mike? I just read your headcannon blurb and loved it so much! :) thanks!
☆ a night in with mike would include :
a/n : i’m glad you enjoyed my post, thanks for the request! no gender specified, no use of y/n, established relationship, no film spoilers
————————————
a night in starts with mike coming home from work. he’s exhausted from a shift that ran longer than he’d liked and with your plans to spend time together in mind, he immediately goes to shower after greeting you and abby.
the shower does a good job at washing off both the stale smell of work and his stress of having to do it all over again tomorrow.
his coming home a little later than expected seemed to have worked in his favor, because as he steps out of the bathroom, he notices the door to abby’s room is slightly ajar. once he steps through it he sees that abby is fast asleep, with you running a hand through her curly hair.
he walks over, replacing your hand on abby’s head and leaning down to place a kiss on it. he smiles at the peaceful sight, it’s moments of calm like this that he feels a small sense of pride, like he’s doing something right if abby is safe enough to have a warm bed to sleep in every night.
he looks to you and nods his head towards the door, signaling for you both to leave the room and as you walk through the hallway, mike places a hand on the small of your back, following you around.
“she go down easily?” mike asked, leading you towards the couch once you entered the living room.
you let out a light laugh, “yeah actually, she was practically falling asleep on her drawings by the time she was supposed to be getting ready for bed”
mike chuckles at the image of abby barley keeping her eyes open even while doing her favorite thing in the world. he leans back on the couch, pulling you into him as you begin to click through the different tv channels. the light from it being the only thing illuminating the two of you.
“so what are we thinking for tonight?” you ask beginning to list off what what playing at this hour, “sitcoms? black and white movies? there’s westerns…”
“sitcoms” mike answers, what he always answers with. you jokingly roll your eyes but find the right channel anyway. although he knows they’re corny, mike loves the simplicity of them, and you love to hear mike laugh.
you both settle in, a hand resting in his stomach with your body turned towards his, your legs thrown across mikes as he rubs your shoulder with the hand he has reached behind you. just twenty minutes pass before you hear and feel a distinct rumbling from mike. you sit up and bit and look at your boyfriend.
“was that your stomach?” you ask.
“yeah i didn’t get a chance to eat yet.” he responds a bit guiltily, knowing you hate when he doesn’t eat.
you immediately stand up and mike sighs, calling your name to sit back down but you retaliate with “there’s some leftover chicken in the fridge, do you want me to heat it up for you?”
“no no no” mike says, quickly standing up and pushing your shoulders to sit back down, “i got it”
he makes quick work of reheating his dinner and getting a glass of water to take back to the living room, where you’ve made him room so he can place his food on the coffee table in front of the couch where you two sat.
mike sits himself down as you sit up and start to lightly scratch his back while he places his elbows on his knees to have closer access to his plate.
every time he laughs at a stupid joke or dramatic one-liner you glance over at him. it seems like with every chuckle more and more weight is lifting off of mike's shoulders, and he's enjoying his life as he should at his age instead of worrying about bills or whether his car is going to start tomorrow morning.
once mike finishes (which was pretty fast. he was obviously a lot more hungry than he lead on to be), he leans back and pulls you into your original position again, this time with a warm full stomach and no more interruptions. he mindlessly traces shapes on your calf as you run a hand through his still damp hair, making it even more messy than it already was.
at some point during one of many commercial breaks, you suggest drinks, which mike is quick to accept. with the day he's had he could use a bit of alcohol to better send him to sleep later.
as you grab a few beers from the far back of the fridge he hears you make a comment on how you guys' hadn't drank in a while. mike lets out a dreamy "yeah?" as he tries to think back on the memory. he either must be real tired or it had to have been a while ago if he couldn't remember. which is a good thing honestly, you both tried your best to not make drinking a habit no matter how hard things got, especially with how much amy needed you both there for her.
"yeah." you said, bringing the now open bottles back to the couch. "it was last month at abby's school's fundraiser. they had spiked cider for the grown ups..." you trailed off, effectively jogging his memory.
"that doesn't count!" mike laughed, taking a sip from his drink.
"what do you mean it doesn't count?"
"well for one, it was at an elementary school, it was basically just apple juice."
"if i remember correctly, you were the one that started swaying after four glasses." you retaliated, causing mike to look at you in disbelief.
"only cause that's how many it took to make me feel anything!"
you cackled at his defensiveness, "don't give me an attitude just cause you're a lightweight. remember when i had to drive us home after my cousins wed- ah!"
mike tried to stifle your shrieks with his hand and he pushed you onto your back, almost dropping your beer in the process.
"you said you would never mention that again." he said through giggles but still trying to look serious while he pointed at you.
you pushed yourself onto your elbows, causing your faces to be merely inches apart. mike watched your mouth carefully as you brought the beer to your lips and took a sip. you held back a smile as you reached over to place it into the coffee table next to you, mike quickly pushing his lips to yours right after you did. you breathed a laugh through your nose, laying back again as you wrapped your arms around his shoulders, kissing him back.
mike continued, switching between pecks and long kisses before moving towards your neck, nipping at the skin there. your eyes began to flutter shut at the feeling.
"do you want to go to bed?" mike asked breathlessly, moving his kisses back to your lips.
as much as you hated to, you pulled away, causing your lover to pout.
"god i want to," you paused, looking at your forgotten drinks. "but we just opened those." you playfully whined.
mike rolled his eyes and sat back onto his knees, keeping his hands on your sides. "you're kidding."
"i'm just saying, we just started and there's four more in the fridge. it would be a waste!" you tried to defend yourself, but mike ignored your protests, leaning down to continue his assault on your neck (you swear he could do this forever).
"oh i get it," he mumbled into your ear. "you're just trying to get me drunk."
you smiled mischievously. "well we both know how easy that would be."
mike pulled away and looked at you incredulously, "oh you're done."
you took advantage of the space between you two and rolled off of the couch, running to mikes room as quietly as you could to avoid waking the nine year old in the next room while also escaping the arms of her brother. you could only avoid your fate for so long as mike came in a minute later after he put the dishes in the kitchen and turned off the tv as fast as humanly possible.
it only took him a second to find you sat on the edge of his bed and another to reach you, immediately attacking you with his lips, your shushes falling on deaf ears as he continued to tease you.
it's nights like these that end with the two of you in each others arms, your hearts bursting with love and affection, that make any trouble you might have faced in the day worth it.
feel free to send any more requests ☆

☆ “leaning against the other one in close spaces” mike schmidt x reader
a/n : this is a request from @vannyangelxoxo based on this prompt list! feel free to send a request
warnings : no gender specified, characters are close friends, reader and mike are in a vent, mention of a rat, film spoilers!!
———————————
you held back a scream as a rat scurried past you. after getting a call from an unknown number and hearing mike on the other end ramble on about ghost children and vanessa's father and the possibility of abby being in danger, you had no time to question him. all you knew was that you needed to help him, no matter how delirious he sounded. this led to you meeting your bloody and beaten best friend behind the building he had been working in for the past week and crawling into a vent after him.
you had tried to fuss over his injuries after seeing him limp out of a police car (which you presumed he got from vanessa based on your last conversation), but he just brushed your hands off and pulled you along with him as he explained his plan to save abby.
as you both continued to crawl through the dusty vent, you were able to hear the sound of music grow louder and louder, indicating that you were close to making it inside.
mike stopped abruptly, and as you looked past him you were able to see through the other side of the vent opening he was looking out to. from where you were all you could see were colorful lights dancing across the dark party room. mike reached a hand back to you, scooting over and motioning for you to move next to him.
with the limited space you had to move, you crawled next to him, looking down at how you carefully placed yourself and then turning your gaze to mikes face. which, you realized in that moment just how close it was to yours. if he had his head turned towards you instead of watching the stage, (which you also should be doing) your noses would definitely be touching.
under different circumstances you might have appreciated the insanely close proximity, but in a high stakes situation like this you had no time to enjoy the way you could see the every freckle on mikes cheeks, or the feeling of his chest moving with every breath against your own. you especially couldn’t enjoy it as you both heard abby’s giggle, making you turn your head at the sound and watched as she followed one of the giant animatronics behind the stage.
mike grabbed your shoulder to get your attention, and soon enough you were both moving to get out of the confined space and continue with your mission.

☆ random thoughts about what i think being in a relationship with mike would be like :
a/n : no gender specified, no y/n + no mentions of the actual movie plot
he’s actually pretty quick to open up after the first couple of dates. i think he would want you to know his situation as soon as possible and understand what you might be getting yourself into if the relationship has any chance of becoming long term.
he also does it for abby’s sake, he doesn’t want you to meet her and accidentally say the wrong thing, or be surprised by their situation so much that you get scared off, leaving poor abby confused.
likes watching horror movies, but only over the top, borderline goofy ones (i.e. nightmare on elm street, child’s play, gremlins, signs). he gets fidgety and even anxious during any where the antagonist is human, some might hit a bit too close to home.
cheesy low budget slashers have a pass. the acting is bad enough and the plot is predictable enough to keep him entertained but not lead him to spiral. those and again, goofy ones are when he pulls out the “here, i’ll protect you” move about fifteen minutes in, of course just wanting an excuse to hold you.
he’s the worst at grocery shopping. he always goes when he’s hungry which leads to too many snacks and frozen meals. and as much as you love the convenience, you know he and abby can’t live like this. which leads to you pushing the cart around while he holds the list you made and grumbles things like “when are we even going to eat rice?” and “i don’t need all of these vegetables, they’re just going to go bad.”
in the end, he’s grateful. and abby is too now that you introduced them to the world of easy to make side dishes.
stealing his clothes duh!! he could groan about how he’d been looking for that hoodie or his sweatpants and sometimes even socks (yes even the ones with the holes in them) but at the end of the day he’ll allow it because he loves the way his clothes look on you, and you love smelling like him.
like i mentioned earlier, he lives for touch. it’s something he didn’t know he was missing until he met you. then it’s all he wants when he’s around you. it can be you running a hand through his hair, or him pulling your back into his chest with an arm around your shoulder.
he loves forehead touching. he loves it when you do it as a way to cheer him up, making a silly face, causing him to pull away and giggle into your neck. he loves it on late nights where he’s just woken up from another bad dream and you do it to calm him down, allowing him to match his breath with yours. he loves it after a moment of passion, and as he stares into your eyes all he sees staring back is pure adoration. it’s the intimacy in the close proximity that he never gets tired of.
he has a temper but it’s hard to blame him. it comes from a place of anxiety, where any high stress situation causes a fight or flight response in him. he hates it about himself, and even after you forgive him after an argument for snapping at you or abby or for shutting you out at a time when he shouldn’t, he still kicks himself for it.
abby usually taking your side in debates just to spite her brother. even if its about something she has no knowledge about, you're in the right! which usually leads to mike jokingly mumbling about how much she likes you more than him.
finally, date nights!!! and as much as mike likes the idea of going out for drinks or for dinner and a movie, he and his wallet favor a more intimate night in at his home. these kinds of dates are few and far between, since its hard for mike to find someone he trusts enough to send abby away with. but on the rare chance that she gets invited to a friends slumber party just a block over, he takes it and spends the night drinking and laughing with you over a plate of your guys' favorite take out orders.

Hey hope your having a good day/ night
Can you do one when the reader is picking out a dress for a date with Mike and Abby helps her?
Thank you, I hope you are too :D
this was one of my favs to write. thank you for requesting this ☺️
————
“what color does mike like?” you ask, ruffling through your closet.
“i don’t know. i think he likes black… or blue. those are the only colors he wears,” abby says.
“every man likes black and blue,” you sigh.
“i think mike will like you in anything,” abby states. “he’s like, in love with you or something.”
heat creeps up your neck and you laugh weakly. “i’m sure he likes me a lot. i like him a lot, too.”
“no, he like-likes you,” abby insists. she sets down her crayons and looks up at you. “he’s always talking about you and asking me what flowers you like and what to get you for christmas.”
you can’t help the big smile that brightens your face. “he does?”
“yes,” abby nods. “no offense, but it gets kind of annoying.”
you chuckle, knowing she means him asking her questions she doesn’t know the answer to is annoying. “none taken,” you say as you look back at your closet.
it’s refreshing to have mike’s feeling towards you reinforced. you two have only been going out for two months, but it’s felt like a lifetime. you both get along so well. and even when you don’t, you’re able to handle conflicts smoothly.
although he told you in the beginning that he has a lot of shortcomings, you see right past them. he’s caring, thoughtful, funny, and super cute. he actually tries, which you know, that’s what people are supposed to do, but you don’t have to ask anything of him. he just knows what to do and say.
you’ve found yourself smiling whenever you think of him, wanting to text him when something bad or good has happened, making excuses to stay late at his house just so you can spend more time with him. it’s safe to say you’re falling for him faster than you ever have for anyone else.
it helps that you and abby get along so well, too.
you were a little worried in the beginning that she would shut you out from what mike had told you about her. but she welcomed you with open arms, telling you how happy she was to have a girl around. now you two hung out regularly while mike had started to work later shifts to help pay for things like dates. you insisted that you didn’t matter and you liked having in-house dates, but he knows you deserve something better, and he wants to be able to provide that. plus, it means more time with abby, which you would never turn down.
“you should wear the red one!” abby points to the dress you’re holding out.
you hum in thought. “i don’t know. do you think it’s too… bold?”
abby shakes her head. “mike will be able to find you easily if you get lost. he’s always afraid of being he cares about getting lost.”
your chest warms at her statement. mike has told you all about his brother and his family history. you knew he was afraid to because he’s been shut down in the past for being too “complicated” or “traumatized” — which if someone can’t handle, then fine, but it’s still pretty messed up when he’s blamed for being too traumatized — but you assured him that your family isn’t perfect either. and while you will never understand his experience, you’re ready to support him and learn how to help.
“he’s very good at protecting people, though,” abby adds. “so you shouldn’t be scared.”
“i feel very safe with your brother,” you smile. you pick out a few different dresses from your closet, laying them out on your bed beside abby.
“is there one i should try first?” you ask. “mmm,” she purses her lips and looks at the four options. you picked out two black ones, the red she mentioned earlier, and an emerald green one.
“the green,” she says. “alright,” you say. you grab it and change in your closet, stepping out to have abby help zip you up. this dress is a simple, but beautiful dress. it’s a maxi dress that stops just above your ankles. the straps are thick, but they don’t cover the whole width of your shoulders. the top comes together in a v-neck, stopping at the perfect place for there to be just enough skin showing.
“what do we think?” you spin around, making abby giggle.
“i like it, but …”
“you want me to try the others on?”
“yeah!”
“no problem. i picked them all out for a reason.”
the next one you try on is one of the black dresses. the first one is a strapless back cami dress. it has a sweetheart neckline and a very short skirt with ruffles on the bottom. as you look into the mirror, you realize how much it makes you look like an attention-seeking teenager.
“i do not remember it being this… short,” you say. you swear if you bend down, everyone would see your ass. and not that you think that mike would mind, but you’re confident everyone else in the restaurant would.
“i don’t really like it,” abby says. “yeah, me neither,” you say.
the second black one is short like the first, but the back has a bow and the sleeves cover your shoulders and half of your bicep. they’re slightly puffy and the rest of the dress has small flowers on in.
“i’m not sure this fancy enough,” you sigh. “i like the flowers,” abby says. “when I grow up can i have this dress?” she looks up at you with the biggest brown eyes you’ve ever seen. her bottom lip is pouted as she tries hard to convince you. you don’t need too much convincing to say yes, though.
after promising abby to lend you the dress when she’s older, you change into the red one. you already can tell from the moment you take it off the hanger it’s going to be abby’s favorite.
it’s a cocktail dress that stops just above your feet. it’s tight-fitting, but not suffocating, which allows it to hug you in all the right places. the top of the dress appears to be looser-fitting as there’s just a tiny bit of extra material at the valley of your breasts. along your waist are creases as if you’ve somehow made it tighter, but it’s just how it was made to sit on your body.
“wow,” abby gasps. “you look so pretty!”
your cheeks feel warm and you look at yourself bashfully. “you think mike will like it?”
“yes! he’s going to have a heart attack when he sees you!”
you laugh, “oh, i hope not.”
you finish your hair and makeup, letting abby choose what your eye makeup will look like and lipstick you’ll use for the night,
“thank you for helping me, abs. you have great taste,” you say as you buckle on your black stilettos.
“i know,” abby smiles.
there’s a knock on your door and your heart races. you look through the peephole, seeing it’s just vanessa here to pick up abby. you breathe out in relief and open the door.
“look at you!” she gasps. “do you think mike will like it ?” you ask, fiddling with the silver bracelet on your right hand.
“if he doesn’t, then i will take you on that date.” you both share a laugh before she speaks again. “but yes, he will love it.”
“thank you. alright, abs, are you ready?” you ask. abby jumps up from the bed, grabbing her box of crayons and pictures.
“if you guys order spaghetti can you bring some home?” she asks.
“sure, honey,” you pat her back. she reaches up for a hug and you bend down to her level. “i’ll see you tomorrow.”
“see you!” she exclaims, grabbing vanessa’s hand.
“mike is in the parking lot, by the way,” vanessa says. “he was reciting how to greet you.”
you giggle, feeling like an infatuated school-girl. “i can’t wait to see what he’s come up with.”
vanessa gives you a hug goodbye and the two walk off. you shut your door, locking just the first lock. you grab a coat and spray some perfume on your pulse points. a few minutes later, there’s another knock on your door. you look through the peephole once again just to make sure it’s mike. once you see it’s him, your heart begins to race and you can already feel yourself becoming a little sweaty from nerves. you hope he smells your perfume instead of sweat.
you open the door, aweing at the bouquet of flowers he has in his hand. without fail, mike always brings some type of plant to your door when picking you up for a date. sometimes he’ll bring you house plants to add to your collection or, like tonight, a beautiful bouquet of flowers. and they’re always different, which to you means that he keeps track and wants to make it special for you. it makes you fall for him deeper every time.
“i just saw abby and vanessa. they were — woah.”
he stops as he looks up at you from his stare at his shoes. he always looks at you like this, even when you’re in a ratty old t-shirt or if you’ve just woken up. you’d be lying if you said you didn’t love it.
he looks at you with wide eyes that search every part of you, not sure where to look. his pupils are already blown wide and you stifle a laugh when you remember it doesn’t take much for him to become entranced by you. the way he looks at you is like he’s won the lottery, which in his mind, he has with you.
“i… i’ve never seen you in red.” he finally finds his voice.
“yeah, i never wear it. not sure why. i might start now,” you grin.
“well, you look gorgeous in anything. and tonight is definitely no exception.” he truly looks like he can’t believe his eyes. like this is a dream and as soon as he reaches out to touch you, you’ll disappear.
you never thought of yourself as anything special before — cliché, yes, but everyone has insecurities. you aren’t not confident, but you know you’re no supermodel, even though you can definitely make yourself into one. but mike makes you feel special. from the way he softly gasps every time he sees you and the wild look in his eyes. you know later he won’t be looking at any other woman other than you. it’s the bare minimum, but it’s hard to come by. you soon realize that if you two ever break up, he’ll be your standard.
“we definitely make a handsome pair,” you wink. your own eyes graze his body, making his heart thump in his chest. he doesn’t know why, but somehow you see something in him. not just in his looks, which he can admit he’s a good-looking guy, but just his personality and what cards he’s been dealt in life. you accept everything about him, even the parts he’s most afraid of. you just make life better for him; he hopes to keep you for as long as you’ll let him.
“is this a new suit?” you ask, reaching out and smoothing his jacket collar out. the suit is navy blue with a white undershirt that has the first few buttons undone. you can see his chest hair peeking out of the cotton, making you lick your lips as you imagine what’s underneath. the suit looks to be tailored, which you know must’ve cost him a lot of money. you don’t say much, though, knowing that if mike wants to spend his money like this, there’s nothing you can do about it. although you make a note to yourself to pay him back somehow.
“yeah,” he nods. “the old one is, well, old,” he chuckles.
“you look so handsome, mike,” you sigh. it comes out all dream-like, but you can’t help it. he makes you brain numb and fuzzy and insides feel all jittery and warm.
he blushes under your gaze, looking down and remembering his little gift for you. “these are for you. they’re, uh, starlette lilies. i thought they would look nice with all your fall decorations.”
could he get anymore perfect?
“they are beautiful. thank you,” you gush. you take his hand and lead him in while you go to your kitchen to fill up a vase to put them in.
“not as beautiful as you,” mike remarks. he’s got you grinning from ear-to-ear. you place them in water with the plant food, setting them on your coffee table.
“i’m ready to go,” you say, turning back to him. he holds his hand out for you and you slip yours into his, lacing your fingers together. your palms are a tiny bit sweaty, but he doesn’t seem to mind. you’ve been on quite a few dates with him, but no matter what, you always get nervous as if it’s the first time you’re meeting him. you honestly hope this feeling never fades.
“abby helped me pick this dress out,” you say as you two walk to the elevator.
“you should let her pick them out all the time,” he says.
you smile down at him. “maybe i will.”

“clutching your invisible pearls” LITERALLY ME!! this was cute i love
I CAN FIX ALL THOES LIES
Tumblr media
Summary: Mike meets a cute girl at the mall
A/N: this was a request but it deleted, if you requested it and want it to be longer just send in another ask and the title has nothing to do with the fic I just think the song is so bimbocore. OOC!Mike
Mike took pride in you (his girlfriend). Yea you weren't that bright but that’s okay. He’ll be smart enough for both of you. And Abby loves you, she loves the way you talk, the way you dress, and the way you do your makeup, to her you're like a real life Barbie doll she helps dress up everyday.
Mike loves that Abby loves you. It makes him feel better about Introducing you to her. He never really wanted his girlfriends to meet his little sister in fear they would leave him and her with broken hearts. But you were different, well more like obsessed to the point where he doesn’t think you would leave him unless he broke up with you. Something he would never do.
You two met at the mall. You went into Victoria’s Secret and tried on a few bras. Bought some but ended up forgetting to take one off. Mike just so happened to be passing by when the alarm went off. “Oh?” You say putting your hand on your neck clutching your invisible pearls. “Ma'am do you mind putting back what you took.” He says nonchalantly and slightly annoyed. “But mister I didn’t take anything?” You mumble while pouting.
This is very unprofessional of him but the way you look and the way you called him mister did something for him. “Well I believe you but the sensor doesn’t. Now how bout we go back into the store and make sure you didn’t forget something. Yea?” He talks softly while putting his hand on the small of your back. Then he felt the ink tag and stopped. He started softly “Ma’am you sure you didn’t steal anything?” He really hoped you didn't do this on purpose. You pointed to the dressing rooms “Well no I tried on some bras and-“ your hand went over your mouth “I forgot to take one off!” You said quietly and rushed to the fitting room.
While you were in there Mike went to talk to the store manager and explained that you simply just forgot. “Yea sure Mike-“ she gets up from her seat “I saw the camera. Very professional hitting on the perpetrator.” Mike's ears flushed red “I wasn't-“ he said pushing off the door frame he was leaning on “Whatever just get her out of here.” He turned around and started to look around the store for you but couldn’t find you.
The next time he saw you, you were entering Abercrombie and Fitch. He didn’t want to just go into the store and follow you so he opted to walk around the area and wait for you. 40 minutes later you walked out with two bags. And just like last time something went wrong. Your bag ripped and your clothes fell all over the floor. Mike rushed over and started to help you pick up your clothes. “Let me go get you a new bag.” He rushed off into the store and came back seconds later with three more bags. “Let me see.” He shoved all the fallen clothes into one bag and placed both bags into the two extra bags. “So they don’t break again.” He says as he hands you the bags and You giggle. “You're the security officer from yesterday.” You say in a flirtatious way. “Yes ma’am. Just happened to be passing by.” He says as he scratches the back of his neck. “You know-“ he starts but you cut him off “Would you like to go on a date sometime?” You say your face feeling hot. “You’re just really handsome and I'd hate to miss this opportunity.”

i know everyone points this out but the smut to angst/fluff ratio on this tag is genuinely soooo funny. i barely read smut (not my thing) and just start giggling scrolling through this tag just at the sheer amount of dirty nasty sexy fics there are. this movie’s been out for like two weeks and i can tell you guy’s are having fun with it, tbh good for you!
as for my non smut fic writers… don’t worry i see you babe and believe me i am always tapped into that softness you put out <3
