One last plea... before I lose him forever

I'm not asking for money... I'm asking for life. I'm asking for a chance to see my child open his eyes again, laugh, call for me... I'm asking for a chance to hold him without feeling his breath disappear in my hands.

My little boy, a piece of my soul, is fighting death right now. His frail body is trembling, his eyes are filled with fear, he's searching for me as if he knows the end is near... and I stand helplessly by his side, my heart crumbling, my soul torn apart a thousand times every second. The doctors said he needs urgent surgery, but death is faster than me... and money stands between me and saving him.

Imagine watching your child dying, and all your screams, tears, and pleas meaningless because you don't have the money... Imagine that life forces you to be rich to keep your children, otherwise death will take them from you mercilessly...

I am writing these words and my heart is burning, collapsing, dying before my child... Ahmed and his family still need help!

Ahmed's fundraider was one forced to start from scratch recently. (it is vetted by: @gazavetters in line (#198) and @a-shade-of-blue )

Ahmed's progress was ripped from him, but kind people have helped him get back up to 9% of his goal.

Ahmed is a kid who has had to endure the horrors in Gaza, on top of being born with health issues because of dangerous gas bombs that affected his mother before his birth. He needs medical treatment as well as escape.

Anyone who is committed to solidarity with disabled, chronically ill, and traumatized people:

Fadel ( @fadel-dani ) is in his early 20s. He's chronically ill with thalassemia, a blood disorder. The price of the medicine is too high to afford, and struggles with fainting.

He and his family have been displaced multiple times in the genocide. When his family returned to their home, bombs were dropped on them, destroying his childhood home.

Fadel woke up in a hospital and learned that, while unconscious, he had undergone surgery to remove metal shrapnel that had become lodged in his body in the bombing. Because of the extreme danger and the collapse of the health system, some of the pieces could not removed at their location.

The doctor assessed his health and told his family that he needs to receive treatment in another country as soon as possible. Obviously, doing so safely requires coordination and funds for both travel and the surgical fees once they get to a hospital. He has been living in a tent and trying to raise funds since then.

After fundraising for over 300 days, he had raised €14,500 (almost 50% of the €30,000 he needs). Then April 25, GoFundMe deleted his fundraiser with no warning or clear explanation. He contacted GoFundMe's technical support, but they ignored him and didn't respond.

He has had to restart all over again with a new fundraiser. So far only €3,522 donations have come in, a mere 12% of what he needs.

He is still suffering the physical and psychological pain of feeling shrapnel from the Israeli bombing that destroyed his childhood home embedded in his body.

He is badly injured from a bombing, leaving him with fragments of metal in his body. He is in need of urgent surgery to remove them. He struggles with constant pain from this.

He has PTSD from repeated severe trauma, including the bombing of his childhood home while he was inside which left him with the fragments in his body. There is bombing around him, and he fears for his life constantly.

He is starving. Genocidal famine is being forced on him, his family, and many other families in Gaza.

We are in desperate need of help. We are a family of ten trying to survive in northern Gaza. Our landlord keeps increasing our rent, and we will be at the mercy of the drones and the tanks if we have to leave, on top of having to leave behind all of our belongings. Every kind of food at the market now costs a fortune and there are no jobs available due to the dangerous situation outside, so we have to fully rely on this campaign.

Starvation is making people around us more and more desperate and I’m scared. Robbers have attacked the families living next to our building. If we get kicked out, we will know the same fate. We can only count on ourselves and the kind souls who have money to spare for us. I swear I just want a miracle to put an end to this crazy situation, I want my life back…
