From a distance Adonai appeared to me, [saying,] “I love you with an everlasting love; this is why in My grace I draw you to Me." (Jeremiah 31:2)

He will come to us like the winter rains, where dead and dormant seeds lie waiting for new life to begin again. His tears will water the soil of every heart, softening protective coats of stone to tender flesh. To the parched He will be a river of justice, to the wounded He will be a cool and soothing stream.
There will be floods and deep waters but even in storms He will not forsake. He hears the cry of the afflicted,  they will not be overwhelmed.
For eventually the flood waters will recede. He will gather the ones He has broken and lead them to places of rest, to speak kindly as He heals. His grace rains both on the just and unjust - He loves and pursues us all.
Let His speech settle like dewdrops on tender grass, like gentle showers on young plants. He will sprinkle us with clean water and cleanse us, guiding us to quiet places.
O let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters. He will satisfy your desire in scorched places, you shall be like a watered garden. For this the LORD does promise:
I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.
-------
“Save me, O my God. The floods have risen. Deeper and deeper I sink in the mire; the waters rise around me. I have wept until I am exhausted; my throat is dry and hoarse; my eyes are swollen with weeping, waiting for my God to act.” Ps. 69:1-3

Elohai Neshama / אֵלֹהַי נְשָׁמָה
My God,
The soul that You, my God, have given me is pure. You created it,You formed it, You breathed it into me, You protect it within me, and You will some day take it from my body and return it to me in the world-to-come. As long as my soul is within me, I give thanks to You Adonai, my God and the God of my ancestors, Master of all Creation, Lord of all souls. Praised are You, Adonai, Restorer of souls to bodies that have died.

“My Lord God,
I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think that I am following Your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.
But I believe that the desire to please You does in fact please You. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this, You will lead me by the right road though I may know nothing about it.
Therefore will I trust You always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for You are ever with me, and You will never leave me to face my perils alone.”

In my eyes you saw pools of rainwater; you were thirsty, I let you drink. O bitter heart, I pity you. To you, nothing is sweet, everything is grit - what others see as pure and holy, little breaths of grace, to you, is not even fit for dogs. You work and sweat and gaze downcast toiling in the thorns and acidic soil that  stubbornly, protectively, refuses to yield its fruit; I wonder if our Gardener weeps too as He labors, longing to harvest the treasure inside your soul.

So beautiful.
“So Eden was deserted, and at eve  Into the quiet place God came to grieve…. here He, standing sad,  Sighed with the wind, nor any pleasure had  In heavenly knowledge, for His darlings twain  Had gone from Him to learn the feel of pain,  And what was meant by sorrow and despair, --  Drear knowledge for a Father to prepare....”
