This is the man who set fire to a group of Israel supporters carrying Molotov cocktails in Colorado. This is the reaction of every person who truly defends the innocent children of Gaza and their families, whose fate is either imprisonment or death. They know neither justice nor humanity. They love killing innocent people who have been trapped in Gaza their entire lives.

I am Sami from central Gaza. The internet has been completely cut off due to the bombing of all networks tonight. We are now being subjected to violent bombing and massacres, so they have cut off our communications. Our financial situation is very difficult, and we are without food. My daughter, "Lynn," was seriously injured a few days ago. She is crying. We don't know if she is hungry or not. She needs surgery and medicine.
What will you do for these innocent people? They are at risk of dying at any moment.
Do good and good will come to you. Help the innocent and be a reason to save their lives.

Nader is still young but due to Israel's attacks on Gaza has had opportunities taken away from him that most kids would take for granted. At night he has to hear bombings, and his family currently lives in a tent. Access to food and water is difficult.
This campaign is 47% to its goal and donations have stagnated, so share this post and donate if you can.

Very fun imagining Hawke's mind in the aftermath of this. Whether they let Anders live or die their trust will never be the same. I invited you into my home, thought we were building a home together but you brought your war to my doorstep with you. I thought you were justice and hope and love, a defender of the family and home we were building here but you became just another battle to overcome. How selfish you were. You wanted to die there, you expected it, you wanted to kill yourself and leave me to win your war for you. You were the one person I thought saw me as more than their champion but you used me just like everybody else in this city. I never asked to be a hero I just wanted a home and you took advantage of that, made my home your battlefield so I'm forced to fight again.
See now I don't usually go here but Hawke x Anders sounds kinda tragic as hell. A Hawke who has been the champion and the warrior and the fighter losing every damn battle since they got to Kirkwall, taking every loss and fighting their way out of despair year after year because there are still people who need them, a home they could still build, a family they could still protect. Then they find Anders, someone who understands loss and pain and the need to fight and the huge grief that comes with having to open your heart so many times. They find a man who Justice itself has possessed who knows them and knows pain and for the first time in their life they find someone they believe has the strength to stay and fight for them like they've fought for everyone else. Someone who they can share their burdens with and fight alongside as friends the lovers and soulmates until the end. Someone who will build a home with them and defend it. Someone who will make the fight a little easier.
Then he starts a war.
When you needed him most, when everything was being pulled apart and your strength was being broken for what you thought was the last time and you needed your lover- no not just your lover but your your best friend, your kindred soul, your one safe person by your side and you find them being the one to turn. You find justice turned to anger, you find the healer turned to a killer, you find your defender chasing after their enemy and leaving you behind in the pool of blood. You thought he would protect you. You thought he would love you. He was your home and you thought you could mean enough to be his too. You thought you finally found someone who would fight for you so you could rest together. You finally trusted someone not to leave you and now they've become a stranger.
#Hawke my sweet eldest child syndrome baby#I'm so sorry you'll have to doe fighting bwcause there is no rest for you#can't have shit in kirkwall not even a boyfriend#da2#dragon age 2#anders#anders x hawke

#I haven't actually romanced Anders#I should say that I'm not entirely sure how he acts and how much he tells a romanced Hawke about his plans#But even if he does I do like the idea of a Hawke so desperate they ignored the red flags#Saw Ander's devotion to his cause and thought he might devote himself to Hawke too#Not knowing Anders wanted to start a fight where Hawke wanted to end one#The complete miscommunication#The sense of betrayal not because he lied about who he was but you lied to yourself about who he was#No this isn't based on personal experience what do you mean#da#da2#anders#anders x hawke

thinking about the ending of dragon age 2 as a mage hawke who sided with the mages at the end of the fifth blight, the warden defeats the archdemon and saves ferelden. they are paraded through denerim to the sounds of cheering crowds. if they don't survive, their memory lives on in a tale of great heroism and sacrifice for years to come. the inquisitor celebrates at skyhold with the rest of their companions after they beat corypheus, the threat finally ended, the inquisition a success.
but not hawke. you can fight with everything you have to support the mages, but there is no grand fanfare when it is over. the villain succumbs to corruption and dies unceremoniously - you don’t even get the satisfaction of striking the killing blow. you can’t get a round at the hanged man to celebrate. it’s time to go. you and your friends can never sit around your table at the hanged man again. you can’t be seen here when the templars come to clean up the mess. nothing will be the same. you have given seven years of your life trying to hold kirkwall together, accepted your accolades and played the part of champion, and you watch it fall apart anyway. and how much of that is your fault? this city has been stained in your blood since before you could remember, since before the blood was your own.
you lost your sister when you lost your first home. even so, you tried to live by the advice you gave fenris - when you stop running, you build a life. the estate that you clawed your family back into stands looming and empty. it is the last place you saw your mother alive, and you still can't bear to touch her things, and you will never even see her room again. bodahn and sandal are making preparations to leave for orlais, orana will find other work with the skills she's learned, and the house will remain, a hollow testament to your family's legacy. gamlen will hear only the stories. your brother fought by your side when it mattered, despite everything. even so, he will stay behind, and you might never see him again.
no, there is no time for a celebration. instead you get a cautious acknowledgement from the templars, a tense goodbye, and then you can never go home again. for the second time. you thought you could build a life, and you tried. you held on as long as you could, you made friends, you fell in love, you clung to the last vestiges of your family, but most of them will be forced to leave your side anyway. you won, but even that wasn't enough.

whenever someone in a story tells a character they're training to fight to treat their weapon like an extension of themselves i always feel like more weight should be put on that statement. on the implication that in learning to wield a weapon you must become it. you must make it a part of you. you must walk down a path from which you will never be able to come back from.
