Even though 2017 isn’t over it’s not too early to reflect on this last year. I participated in many group shows, had my first Mpls solo show at @moderntimescafempls, went to @chicagozinefest and @shortrunseattle, and finally followed my long time dream of making larger prints and tote bags. I still have sales coming up this week at @moderntimescafempls and @moduslocus before 2017 is over, but I’m looking forward to being a bit more introspective, researching, experimenting, working on new projects, and announcing some collaborations in the works. #2017bestnine

Minnesota Center For Book Arts and Twin Cities Zine Fest seek zine submissions for the upcoming Free For All Zine Lounge, part of MCBA’s 2017 Book Art Biennial, Shout Out: Community Intervention, Independent Publishing, & Alternative Distribution. The zine lounge is envisioned as a forest of zines highlighting local, national, and international zinesters.

Submission deadline is May 22, The Exhibit runs May 29-August 13. Zines will be added to MCBA’s library afterwards.
