Today we intercepted some Resistance communications (Okay, we found FN-2187′s tumblr.) and he was spreading some NASTY rumors about the LOVELY and PERFECT Captain Phasma having been the one the lowered the shields on Starkiller Base. This is a FALSITY and LIBEL and if I ever hear any of you spreading such LIES I will personally end you with an ANGLE GRINDER.

So today in AP Government, I learned…

There’s this thing called a filibuster in which members of Congress sit there and talk and talk and talk go delay a vote of a bill that they oppose to just fucking stall. And these things can go on for hours. I’m talking 1 hour, 2 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours. Yes, people sit there and talk to stall a vote for days!!!! But the best part is, they can talk about whatever the fuck they want. It doesn’t even have to pertain to the bill about to become a law. It doesn’t even have to be about government! It can be about whatever the fuck this senator’s wife made him for dinner last night or why the sky is blue or if water is wet and as long as they’re still talking, not a single one of those fucks can cast a vote. So my teacher showed us a video clip of Ted Cruz (I.e. The literal zodiac Killer) sitting in for a filibuster, reading Dr.Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham to his children at home because he was out too late to read them their bedtime story.

TL;DR: Ted Cruz is an actual angel.

Short story prompt. Phasma AU where she is a gymnast competing in the summer Olympics. Phasma has always been body conscious it gets difficult when she tries on her leotard but when it gets down to it and she begins to compete all of that is forgotten about when the pressure is on. She blows her competitors out of the water and goes to win the gold. She was so nervous as this was her first time competing in such an event. She has trained her entire life for her lifelong dream.

//I love this idea to pieces! Especially in light of the Olympic season currently upon us! I think once I find some time, I’ll get to this one! What do you guys think?
