I bought a new betta for my 10 gallon tank 💙

Hey fishblr community!

My uncle is getting rid of an “algae eater” which I believe is a Pleco. I have no experience in keeping these but would love any advice anyone has. At the moment I only have a 12 gallon available for him which I’m scared will be too small :/

Any suggestions on tank size (or anything Pleco related) would be veryy appreaciated :))

I lost my betta today 😭

Unfortunately I was (and still am) going through some very difficult personal problems and must have let the tank slip my mind. I feel so so bad but I physically and mentally couldn’t have done anything to prevent this because my mental health was so low and I wasn’t home for a few weeks at a time. Fish deserve as much love as every other animal and I unfortunately couldn’t be there for him.

His name was nugget and I had him for two years in a 10 gallon tank.. all I can do is hope I gave him a good life overall.
