“Im fine. It’s great to see you to!” He couldn’t help but smile seeing the boy. For the few times they have been around each other Kerry has really grown on Miles. He was excited to see him again. “and hello Fishie!” he smiled at the dragon, happy to see her as well. “I’m sorry about yelling at you by the way. Shouldn’t loose my cool over an accident.” 

Kerry beams brighter when Miles greets Fishie. No one usually thinks to acknowledge the dragon and it makes him happier than he has words for. He can practically feel Fishie’s joy for it too- definitely can hear her purr in response. “It’s okay!! I should have been watching where I was going. What are you doing here???”

Miles was no closer to finding answers than he was the day before, or last week even. It was starting to irritate him but he tried to keep the irritation down. He couldn’t get angry, he would find answers eventually, he just had to keep searching and keep his spirits up. Which is why Miles found himself walking through the town with no destination set in mind. It was going great, nice and peaceful, up until somebody walked into him and he ended up stumbling forward. “Could maybe watch where you’re going?” the words came out harsher than intended and Miles would feel bad for it later but in the moment he didnt care. he turned around to face whoever walked into him, and okay maybe he was going to start feeling about it now “Oh! hello Kerry!”

It’s entirely his fault and it makes his entire body slump a bit when the man yells. He’s really not trying to make anyone upset!! Kerry frowns- and is cut short in his apology when it turns out he walked into Miles. The dragon knight smiles wide- a nice face!!! Even if maybe he’d upset him... “Oh man I am so sorry!!! I was talking to Fishie- are you okay Miles???? It’s so good to see you!!!”

Are You Lonesome Tonight? || Miles and Kerry

Kerry’s a bit sad by the time he and Fishie make it into the 3rd town of the day. He’s been chased out of tavern and town alike all day, met with nothing but angry people who refuse to listen to him. Maybe he should stop trying to warn people? No- a dragon knight has to push forward until the very bitter end and keep everyone safe in the best way they can! But...he’ll just warn everyone in this town tomorrow!! Just because he’s exhausted- definitely not because he’s a bit downtrodden. Especially since he’d have a great travel companion if he didn’t have to leave that first town so quickly. Secretly he was hoping to run into the enchantress later on. Either way, he’s hoping this town will be a lot nice. Kerry pats Fishie, smiling up at his dragon. “Want to find the orphanage here??? We can let the kids ride you and bring them lasting fire? Oo, or we can find mud!! Maybe we’ll just try to be nice to the locals??” He continued to talk to his dragon, not paying attention to where he was walking until he hit something- or someone.
